I’ve decided to try to do daily reports. Please forgive repetitive sentences, grammar, and other errors as I’m writing on the fly.

THE FLIGHT

Connected in ATL on the Delta – Rio direct flight. I lucked out and it was about 1/3 full leaving the seat beside me empty. I’m a light sleeper and I’ve never been able to sleep on a plane or in a car since I can remember. I was at the doctor’s last month and asked him to prescribe Valium or something to help me sleep overnight for the flight. He gave me 2 pills as a sample of a drug Ambien he said would work better. We took off at 9:30 pm, had dinner, I took one of these tiny pills at 10:30 pm. At about 10:45 I remember checking my watch thinking this stuff doesn’t work…My next memory is waking up at about 6 am 1 hour before landing. It was truly amazing. I didn’t feel drowsy at all, it just knocked me out and I didn’t move for 7-8 hours. I have no idea if there are side effects. I’m sure one would need to see a doctor and get a script. So the flight was great because I didn’t really experience it, and I got some sleep so I was ready to hit the ground running.

Landing at GIG was quick and easy. I flew through customs in about 25 min, but hit rush hour traffic into Copa. All told it took about 1.5 hours after landing to get to the Debret.

HOTEL DEBRET

My impressions of the Debret are good. I was concerned in that they never answered my questions by email, but the receptionist was very clear in giving me the promotional rate and verified that there was no chica fee since I was paying for a double. They let me check in at 10 am which was also a plus.

The room itself is great with ocean view on 2 sides. The windows open up and you can get a sea breeze coming in. Double bed, cable, mini safe and mini-frig as well. Total was $48/night which I still can’t believe with the incredible view of the ocean and Copa. As a reference, the rooms are about on par with the Hotel del Rey and Presidente in Costa Rica. My room was slightly smaller than the average room at the Presidente, but I have stayed in a one or two there that were smaller. The price is about the same, but what makes the difference is the view-there is no view anywhere close in San Jose like the one from Debret.

Restaurant has ok food, but it’s great for the incredible panoramic view of the beach and Copa. I recommend eating the free breakfast there and taking everything in.

MEIA PATACA

After arriving I exchanged some cash at a cambio and walked around town and the beach a bit. I ended up at Meia Pataca early afternoon and had a late lunch. From prior reports, I was expecting some dogs, but I was surprised that there was some quality there at 2 pm. I would say 2 or 3 doable chicas-One loira I would rate about an 8, but she may not have been a Programa, I didn’t ask. Majority of the women are average to below average. A morena, probably a 5 invited herself over and I talked to her a bit. I found one thing MP is good for is to practice your Portuguese-ask the chicas how to say stuff then repeat what they say exactly how they say it. I really did help a lot. I learned how to say “You are beautiful” about 5 different ways, but more importantly I learned how to say it with a minimal or no accent.

I could have chosen an MP garota, but I wasn’t busting my first nut there. I figured why not go from worst to first, so I decided to hit Centaurus.

TERMA CENTAURUS

The consensus of the board is generally negative about Centaurus, but I decided I had to give it a try. It’s about a 10 min walk from the Debret. Just print out the map on the site walk about 10 blocks. Thanks to Dood for the maps as it makes the Termas easy to find. The management wasn’t rude to me, but wasn’t nice either. I told the guy it was my first time, but “Eu nao queirho acompanante”, I don’t know if this translates into Portuguese well, but the garota runt of the litter didn’t follow. I entered the boite and my jaw hit the floor. If you’ve never been, nothing can really prepare you for it. I was there early at about 4 pm, and there were about 20 garotas in the boite. There were probably 4-5 stunners who could pass for models-I don’t see how anyone could rate them lower than a 9 or 10. About 10 more garotas were very attractive and you’d consider yourself blessed to have them-probably an 8 on average. The bottom five were still fuckable, but looked ugly and out of place with the competition. As a comparison, I’ll use the Blue Marlin bar of the Hotel del Rey in Costa Rica. I’ve been there over a hundred times and I’ve seen maybe 5 chicas total who could hang at Centaurus and they would be in the lower half of quality. I’ve seen maybe one chica from Club Idem in San Jose who could legitimately have worked at Centaurus. The top end garotas there really are on the level of models or women you’d see in Playboy.

D’artagnan makes a great point about needing a new scale for garotas. I would say deduct 1-2 points to any other scale you might have to approximate the chicas here. So someone you would consider an 8 in Costa Rica might be a 6 or 7. If I rate a garota an 8, she would be a 9 or 10 anywhere else. As always this is completely relative, but the average garota here is much more attractive than any other I’ve seen anywhere.

For weeks I had planned out to take at least 1 hour to survey the talent before choosing. I held out for 20 minutes. To my credit I didn’t grab one of the first few who came by at the bar. The first was one of the dogs and I blew her off. Next was one of the stunners and I stammered through some Portuguese and told her I’d find her later. Then a tall shapely morena named Rejane came over. She was not one of the stunners, but she had the kind of body I like-Fairly tall, round firm ass and great legs. Tits looked ok but not huge, probably a B cup. She had a beautiful face and I’d have guessed she was 21 or 22. She later told me she was 30 which is hard to believe. Even though she wasn’t the hottest garota there, we clicked in conversation. I’m a believer that you should go with first instincts and initial chemistry and we clearly had it. I then relented and kissed her. She might be the best kisser I’ve ever had-We made out for 15 min or so before heading to the cabine. She has thick full lips and knows how to use them. The kissing was so good I couldn’t hold out and took her upstairs.

Ambiens are a must for overnight trips. Our first trip down, MitchC and I both did an Ambien, drank beer and tried to stay awake. We barely remember laughing and hallucinating, then waking up 30 minutes prior to landing feeling refreshed.

Hombrecito, you make it really difficult for those of us that are stuck at home! Centauraus was my first terma and my jaw is still sore from the drop. That's funny about your session with Vanessa, reminds me of my session with Duda at Luomo. DFK, BBBJ, and anal and I called it a bad session compared to the others.

IMHO, you are right on about Asia. Thailand is a must visit, but Brazil is still my favorite for all around value even though it's more expensive.

Great report! Just a quick mention on Ambien. It is not a tradional type sleeping pill. No hangovers in the morning or other side effects. And it is not suppose to be addictive. I do not think you can find it outside of the US. Definitely not in TJ because I have asked.

Hombrecito, great stuff. Very much appreciate as I am going to Rio for the first time this month. Appears that there will be a ClubHombre convention in town while I'm there. Looking forward to meeting everyone. As a first timer, I appreciate the detail you are giving (ambien tip, etc.). Please continue to provide daily reports. I'm still hoping to get to both Rio and BA this year but haven't finalized plans, so I'll follow your reports with great interest.

Things continue to rock in SJO, but very rainy lately with severe flooding in many parts of the country. Puts a bit of a damper on non-mongering activities.

I also hit Solarium for the first time on Saturday afternoon. They open at 2:00 on Saturdays. I thought there were two many 7's there though. I eventually picked the best I could find at about 4:30 and had an average session, but got a couple of photos. I returned to the boite and picked a real spinner, but would not allow photos. She was the very, very petite girl who looked about 19 but was 25. She was great and gave up the backdoor for almost the entire 40 minutes. I wish I could have gotten photos. I am surprised I did not run into you. I was just there for sat and sun nights though.

Good report, be careful you don't want to hit the wall to soon, and then again maybe you WANT ever hit the wall I been going to RIO, for years I been lucky I have NEVER hit the wall YET, avg. 3 to 4 per day. Keep up the good work!!!!! OH YEAHHHHH

Hemp, if you want to meet DonGringo and I about 12:30 at Alcazar on Friday 9/20 we will have lunch and be on our way to 4 X 4 at 1:40 pm in an effort to be the first in the door.

Since the 20th is your last day--on my last day in Rio I always take my suitcase with me to L'uomo. They keep it behind the desk, and I stay till 7:45 pm and then sprint to a taxi and onto the airport.

Your Solarium session with Vanessa is available in TJ from several girls. True, it is not the US.

That's a great advice. I hope some of those who don't miss a chance to trash TJ will stop spoiling my fun, as there are CLEARLY enough of us who love the place, the chica quality or not. heh!

Having said that, some of the photos that I see in this Rio report are AWESOME. Their faces don't come out that great, but that's probably just photos, while their bodies look godly.

If Rio were near my border, I would make a trip every other day.
