Well, basically I spent the day hanging with Camilla. We met CoffeeMaker and another of his favoritas and went out to dinner at “The Irish Pub” in Ipanema. This is one of my favorite places as it has authentic Irish food and a real laid back environment.

While we were there, a group of young European guys came in and sat at the table next to us. They had a huge BONG with them. We started to get a little nervous, as the Pub is next to the location of the Hippie Fair and there were about 6 or 8 cops standing right outside. The guys loaded this bong up with a black plug of something and started to smoke it.

We did not smell and pot or hash, so we asked them what they were smoking. It turns out to be Arabic tobacco that is flavored. They had grape and banana flavored that night. I gave it a shot and was surprised at the flavor of the grape, although the banana did not taste like bananas to me. They were pretty cool guys, and we enjoyed the meal before retiring back to the crib for more sessioning.

Nice job val; looks like you had fun; except for the living quarters.....this to me is the problem with apt's, site unseen. one thing to look for an apartment for your next vist while you are down. then you know what you are getting.

i see you were at the beach in arprodoar....on my last trip....i started photographing the gringos...kind of like where is waldo...pick the gringo out of the crowd. I have put together a larger collection of pics than I realized. Does this mean that I am getting bored with rio???? oh shit.......
