After loitering on this site for so long, you tend to see the same recurring questions from newbies popping up in different fashions as well as become witness to many fellow mongers coming and going. What keeps things interesting for me, however, are the guys that have hung out on this site for so long and the absolute wealth of info, experiences and opinions they have to offer. An honest to god dream-team of mongers congregate here like no place other. Collectively, we’ve probably got more mongering wisdom and experience on SEA than any other resource I know of. I’ve always appreciated the opportunity to gleam the nuggets of truism from fellow vets about new destinations or uncovering new information about old destination. In this regard, the site worked well for me on this last SEA trip to the Phils and Indonesia. I will be forever indebted to MongerX, Crazier and Socrates for introducing this old-hand to a new gem of a hobby destination and literally doing some hand-holding in Jakarta and hanging with me. I am equally appreciative of the opportunity to hang out with many other stellar guys this trip in various locales, including Xenono, Sancho, WickedWillly, and Tujunga (AC). Again, to a man, exceptional individuals.
