Here is a quick update on Nogales. I knew I should have done this as soon as I got back, my memory is going. Phoenixguy, if I make a mistake feel free to jump in. We went to several bars – Boleiros, Lord Blacks, Obsessions, the new club by Boleiro’s (cant recall the name). Rios is closed down, someone said Ferni’s was closed, but was open the night we were there.

Boleiro’s has a brasileira. I got a privado (no curtains still) from her and she wasn’t too bad. I think the privados are $22. She has a little meat on her, but doable. I kind of fucked up, because I started talking with her about Rio, so she talked to me the entire private. All of the privates were full, so you are looking across to the other privates and they are looking at you. A little creepy.

Crispitn, I'm saving my cash for a trip over to the Philippines at New Years. As for comparing Nogi to anything in SEA...there is no comparison. If you go with a good attitude there's fun to be had, but don't expect to be (favorably) impressed. And do expect major sticker shock, as I believe Azguy's post pointed out some of the asking prices.

You know what? Was Nogie ever really all that great? The best thing about that place was the close proximity to Tucson. Even back in the day you were limited to a booth and a couple of songs for I think around $100 when I went. Who wants to do that? Any way you slice it the hotels were and always will be an option which is much better than a chair. With the prices you are talking about here, why even go to Nogie? I could stay in Tucson and get a good escort for not much more. After you pay for gas and all that other shit it porbably comes out about even.

I'll be visiting Nogales next month and wondered if anyone could offer advice or a contact to bypass the clubs and head straight to a hotel with a companion. I've visited many clubs over the years in different parts of Mexico and from the sounds of your reviews, I could live without visiting the ones in Nogales, unless it's the only way to find someone to take to a hotel.

Park on the US side and walk across. After dark, you will get numerous "wanna fuck my sister" offers before you get anywhere near the clubs.

Also consider taking a taxi down to LaConga because the border clubs have not offered a reasonably priced hotel deal in years.

The best offer I have had near the border is for free lancers out of El Potros bar where you take the girls to Hotel Elias.
