The day that I start to hit my stride.
I slept in Sunday morning until about 10 am. After showering and getting all packed, I went down to check out. The total bill for the two nights, along with two room service dinners (one large; one small) was only 243.50 Soles ($73.08). I would certainly stay at this hotel again: comfortable bed, good rate, chica friendly, 24-hour room service, credit cards are OK with no surcharge. The only down side is that it is not walking distance to the center of Miraflores, but I can live with that.
The taxi drops me and my bags at the apartment at around 11. Clara gives me a set of keys and a couple of phone numbers in case of emergency, and she is out the door and on her way. Before unpacking, I take a few pictures of the apartment:
I settle into my new home for an hour, watching TV, then I head to the supermarket to get some supplies.

I later discovered a Wong Supermarket closer to the apartment, but Vivanda had just opened about a month ago and still had that new supermarket smell. The vegetables, cheeses, and deli counters were all squeaky clean and fresh. The hot prepared foods look good, too. I picked up some drinks, some vegetables, some cheese, two different cooked dishes that I could re-heat in the microwave late at night and some powdered drinks to take home with me. The whole thing ran about $20. The taxi got me right home, I unpacked the food and watched some more TV while I planned my day.
My goal was to get laid, eat, gamble, and get laid again. This all seemed doable.
Many places are closed on Sundays, but I knew that one Banos Turcos I had gone to before was open - Finnish Sauna. So I hopped a cab there.

Finnish Spa is in an OK part of town. The routine is pretty routine: You check in, tell them that you want the Sauna/Massage combo (35 Soles), change into a towel and head downstairs for the steam room, dry room, shower, and room to rest in. One nice touch is that the massage girls sit in a bullpen that you can look into while you are changing your clothes. Five girls looking like, well, hookers were there when I showed up. Since I was after hookers, this was perfect.
I killed an hour spa-ing, and when I came upstairs to choose my masajista, there was only one girl available, a different one from those I saw when I showed up.
This girl had just a few too many pounds, most of it in her breasts. We get to the room (a real room with a door and a lock; not just a little compartment) and she gives me a fairly poor massage. I flip over and we agree on 120 Soles ($35.82) for full service. She gives it the old college try with lots of kissing, licking, sucking and many positions. I'm not really a fan of sex on a massage table, but we got the job done. I've been to Finnish Sauna twice now, and I have had no issues with the effort of the girls in either instance.
When I was upstairs getting dressed, most of the original girls were back, along with one other new one. Not a bad selection for a Sunday afternoon. The final total was 158.50 Soles ($47.31), which include all fees and a giant lemonade while I was resting.
It was a lovely day, and I had my GPS with me, so I walked the 3 or so miles back towards Miraflores. It was a little early, but I hadn't really eaten anything, so I headed to Roky's for the rodizio.

Roky's is a chain of family restaurants throughout Peru. This location features rodizio - a Brazilian method of serving barbequed meats. They cook them on long swords, and then bring the meat out and carve it right at your table. Depending on the level of extravagance, the accompanying salad bar can be a meal all in itself as well. Roky's isn't that extravagant, but at 25 Soles and 27 on the weekends ($7.46 and $8.06), you can't go wrong. The service was a little spotty, but it was an off-time, and so what if it took me an extra 15 minutes to get to the point where I thought that I would explode.
I was able to waddle back to the apartment to rest up and change my clothes for the evening.
The taxi dropped me in front of the Marriott Casino. I had not really taken a liking to the Marriott on my previous visits, but they had a new entrance, so I figured I would give them a chance.

The casino was all done over, shiny new and easily four times the size. Minimums on the blackjack table were $3 (pretty much standard throughout Lima). I found one game that they had called 'Majestic'. It is played exactly like blackjack (same payoffs, etc.), but you can make an optional side bet on the total of your first two cards. The minimum on both of those tables was $2, so I plopped myself down there and just ignored the side bet.
After playing for an hour, I was up around $20. It was a little frustrating because this shiny new casino had all shiny new dealers. They were slow, but they paid off on 22 twice, so that wasn't bad! This is a really nice casino, but it seemed a little cold. It could be the newness, it could be the size, or it could just be how they are. Right across the street is the friendly Miraflores Casino. I like it there, too. And the new Marriott explains why the other casino was emptier than usual.
It was still early enough that I could cruise Pizza Alley and if I was unsuccessful, I still had time to call one of the outcall ads I had picked out.

Walking through Pizza Alley, I was finding the pickings kind of thin until I run into Claudia at the back entrance to the alley. Claudia has blond hair, a nice, not huge rack, is fairly tall for a Peruvian girl, in her mid 20s, and is not shy. She walks up to me and asks in perfect English if I would like some company.
I answer in Spanish until I realized that she spoke English. I said that it might be a good idea. She tells me that she has great tits and do I want to see them? I say of course I do, so she shows me one nice boob for a second. She then tries to close: "We can do whatever you want for $50."
