If the venues here implemented some type of STD screening/treatement (for real) and there was some massage places that gave thai like foot and body massages, I would say Jakarta suits me about perfectly. It’s very easy to get sucked into the local scene and while I feel like a slab of meat to these girls in some venues (which is thoroughly enjoyable), they genuinely appear to enjoy hanging out and as in Thailand. I received an incoming barrage of SMSs from girls during the day. If I could only read what they said and respond properly, I could develop a nice little DMs JKT black book, but then again with so many quality girls to screw and 1 cock, a black book isn’t as important here…

Thailand still rules for me due to the intangibles such as food, infrastructure, massage, and culture so JKT won’t replacing it anytime soon, but I think the days of 4 week LoS, 0 days JKT are toast. 1 week in JKT is a must assuming reasonably priced air tickets on any extended trips. I personally wouldn’t like to book a 2-3 day trip to JKT if I had a choice, but that’s more my style of taking things slow and letting them unfold (slow and steady)…I think 5 days is decent, 7 days very good, 7+ days = whoa nelly, bring the vitamins!

I really enjoyed Jakarta and will back soon (i.e. it will become a regular stop). The language is also several orders of magnitude easier than thai to pick up…

However, one thing I didn’t manage in JKT was a balanced ying/yang and as a result I suffering serious sleep depravation. Two days chilling in BKK with plenty of sleep and massage will cure that. It's interesting how much fun I had even w/o speaking a lick of Indonesian (luckily the vets were there for me). I'm sure I also missed out on some fun w/the gals by not being able to return txts and calls. JKT is definitely p4p heaven, and once I learn the lingo to be able to follow-through with the building up rapport thing w/the gals, I think JKT will be my favorite destination. I just wish it wasn't such a hassle to get to from the States.

BTW: I haven't been to it and not much has been posted about his place here, but some guys on another site said that the Kartika Massage in the Jalan Mangga Besar Raya area (near Sparks) is supposed to have Bangkok style soapy massages. Hmmm. I'm sure you could also train your gals to provide foot massages.

Kartika is not even a shade close to what you get in Bangkok! But, its reputation in Jakarta goes a long way.

You did walk in there your last day with Mx and I and it there were better shade of Rhinos than the place just next door!

The best soapy in Jakarta was the "Korean Massage" which was at the Golden Trolly Hotel at the junction of Mangga Besar and Gunung Sahari. Sadly, they moved and I have lost track of the new location.

However, I believe DM is writing about the Legitimate Traditional Thai Massage places in Bangkok - Thailand rather than the "soapies".

On Massage,
Indonesian Traditional Massage is unlike Thai Massage.

Indonesian massage is locally referred to as "URUT" and it's pressure massage of the Veins from head to foot. It can be a painful experience your first time and quite uncomfortable but once you finish, the body is fully relieved and rejuvenated.

This is different from the new wave Spas and Massage treatment that gained their fame in Bali. That's for the "rich and famous" but especially fun if you're a couple and wanting super-pampering from a team of cute ladies in semi-sexy surroundings and luxury.

In Jakarta, many of the stand-alone Spas such as Oasis, Puri Handayani, Beverly Hills etc etc are merely fronts for prostitution. Most of the cute girls cannot massage for their life. They are more inclined to be able to rub you here and there, wash you if "bathing" is included in the deal, and offer you extra service such as a HJ, BJ and in some cases "full service"; all under the guise of a Spa - Massage establishment.
There are of course a few Rhinos per establishment who do offer Massage!

In most of the hotels of Jakarta, the in-house Spas offer Massage in the hotel spa or in your room. Some of the older girls do know how to massage and this could be a combination of Aeromatherapy Massage, Urut or Shiatsu (Taiwanese - Japanese) Massage - all legitimate.

Many of the girls also offer extra service as part of their service! After a decent massage.

Of these, I did like the massage girls at the Mercure REkso all the times I ordered them to my room!

They were 20+, had decent massage skills and were ready to fuck for money if that's what you want after the massage.

Can you or anyone tell me where Brazil would fall on that list??/

After my most recent trip and upon some deep reflection, I think Jakarta will be moving up somewhat. Although it still won't be as highly ranked as you have it.

Yeah Xen, as you may have witnessed, I was "deaf and dumb" the first trip and am motivated to do more than stare at my LTs all night. Indonesian appears to be much easier to grasp than Thai and Tagolog, which I gave up awhile ago.
