I don't know when I am going back to Medellin, but I just know I am. I am still a bit amazed at my four day GFE dupla, for no expected dinero. I have spoken with Anna Maria a few times since I have returned, and she has begged me to come back and made it very clear she wants to do it all again, and does not expect dinero. Now she knows I was very generous with her last time, but the amount of money I spent on her was really less than it would have cost me at her La Isla rate.
I said this before, but wanted to elaborate. The ease with which you can meet real chicas in Medellin is staggering. There are tons of hot babes, 18-23 years old that would love to hang with a Gringo. We are a bit of a commodity there, and these girls love gringos. It does take more time and effort to get some of these girls in the sack, so I have pretty much kept to the P4P girls.
But even the working girls are sweet, lovable, and looking for love. Not just sex, that is just for fun for them. They really want love...and seem love starved...and attention starved. With just a little effort, I turned these two 18 year old primas into cute little GFE's. They never asked for a thing, but were thrilled and excited evertime I offered to buy them something, or do something nice for them.
I am not sure what to do with the REAL chicas that wanted to hook up with me on these trips. The three chicas I met at Parque Poblado at the concert still e-mail me and still want to see me again, but they seem so shy about going to the Mansion that I have to think it is not a good idea. Carolina, the little hottie from the Ophanage has talked to me several times and really wants to see me again when I go back and wants to spend the night with me at the mansion. But I also fear that she is really looking for a novio, and I don't want to break her heart. She does not live at the Orphanage, but lives next door, and has a job selling ropas in a public square.
Not sure who I will see, or what I will do...but I do know I will be back to my favorite city in the world....Medellin.

Thanks for the great info.
I'll be arriving in MDE on the 18th of Jan. for about 10 days. This will be my 6th or 7th trip to MDE. But I have a novia there. So my P4P experiences in MDE have been limited. In the past I have stayed at Hotel Botero Plaza(about 80K pesos per night for two) which is about 2 blocks from Botero Plaza toward Parque de Bolivar. A minibus from the airport to that hotel costs 4K pesos, and the hotel is chica friendly.
I live in Cartagena and feel the same way you do about MDE and all of Colombia. I am dumbfounded by reports like that of Irishrover(?) who thought that MDE sucked.
I intend to do some trolling around the museum when my novia is at work.

TomTom: I have been by this hotel a number of times and it looks like a great location for mongering, especially if it is chica friendly. You are only blocks from the action, mi amigo!

Myself and about four of my buddies are thinking of a MDE trip in April after the 15th. Still want to hook up and do that SG thing. I still need to send you that stuff as well. My Colombiana novia is keeping me hopping between home, Caracas and her being here...in about 12 hours, but who's counting. Hope you said hello to Anna Marie para mi!!!!

The Mansions reservation system is down as well. I tried booking a room online and it didn't go through. I emailed them yesterday and I have not yet heard from them.

Radioman,
Please use caution in the barrios. Once the police (autodefencias?) got word you were in their area, they assumed responsibilty for your safety. I don't think the posted a man at the door lightly. It's bad business if you were robbed or worse. You were in danger bro.
Can you import about 5,000,000 Anna Maria's for the sex/love starved men of America?
By Sniper on Thursday, December 29, 2005 - 04:47 pm: Edit |
Mansion reservation system back up. Thank god, I thought they closed.
I received a very quick response from their staff, as well. They verified the 10% discount so good news.

RadMan, You have definitely moved Medellin ahead of Rio on my priority list. Are you sure those IDs were authentic?

I´m interested to hear what RM has to say about the authenticity of the IDs - but in my experience, every girl under 18 has two sets of ID - one showing her real age and one saying she´s 18.
So don´t assume just because the ID your girl used to register at the hotel (if you´re even registering her) is legit.
As far as the law, I like to cite the Roxy Disco Defense, wherein 2 males in their 30s had charges of the statutory rape of two 15 year-olds dropped because they picked them up inside the club and all clubgoers had to show ID proving they were 21 or over to enter.
Therefore - they relied on the ID as being correct.
I don´t know how that would work in Colombia - but in my experience with other matters, some pesos can get you in or out of whatever it is you want.
By Tomtom33 on Saturday, December 31, 2005 - 04:00 pm: Edit |
It's also common for chicas to borrow the cedula of another. The hotel certainly doesn't care.
Registration policies are rather loose. I "registered" at one hotel in MDE by passing the clerk 20K, one night's lodging.
Many chicas will just tell you their age even if they are under 18. It does not matter to a Colombian if they are 16 or 18. And they rarely see Gringos.

Great report RM! You, Wallstreet, Cubanut and The Mansion was the reason I booked my flight to Medellin. I will be there Feb 16-20.
Can't wait! If I run into you guys down there during that time, first and second rounds are on me.
Thanks

Semi-charmed. I am glad that my reports could be useful to you....as well as my friends Wallstreet and Cubanut. It was because of THEM that I first tried Medellin last summer. The one thing the three of us have always worried about is sending too many gringos with greenbacks down there. Please keep the pricing low. If a chica tells you she will fuck you for $12,000 pesos, act like it is a lot of money, because to her it is. (but to us it is $5 bucks, and pocket change).
Taser: Thanks for the warning, and I think you are probably right. I had no idea how dangerous it was when I went there. I had asked the mother of the house several times if it was safe and she assured me it was (before I went). It was only AFTER I got there and had dinner and it got dark that she told me I needed to spend the night. I think it was probably OK in the daytime...but at night it was not. I saw a lot of security in the street girl areas, but even there is dangerous and I saw lots of nasty looking guys eyeing me up and down wanting a piece of me. Fortunately, they did not attempt to get one.
Wallstreet: I BELIEVE YOU ARE CORRECT, THAT MANY OF THE UNDERAGE GIRLS HAVE TWO SETS OF ID'S, However most of the street girls I saw did not carry anything. Even though Johanna showed me hers, it may have been fake. The street girls do not carry ID because if they lose it they are screwed. The cops do not make them carry it for the most part, and the hotels in the street girl areas do not ask for it because they want the business. They pretend to look the girl over, but never asked for ID. That would NOT be the case in the nice hotels in El Poblado.
Even Dannie and Anna Maria had lost their ID's and did not carry them. One afternoon I was taking them back to La Mansion from the El Centro shopping trip and there was a really cute little juggler girl of about 10 years old juggling balls in the street for tips. I directed the taxi driver to go around the block (Parque Poblado) so I could tip this cute little juggler. As we rounded the corner right in front of the park there was a police road block stopping random cars...and of course we got nailed. They made the girls get out, and seperated us and started asking me questions about why I was with these girls. Keep in mind they there were both 18 but as you saw, looked young. I convinced the cop that Anna Maria was my novia, and Daniella was her prima, and were were going to my apartment to swim in the swimming pool. I did not have my passport, preferring to keep it locked up at the Mansion. If you lose it you gotta go to Bogota to get out of the country. I showed him my drivers license which was fine...and he let us go. I have had other mongers tell me the same thing.
They really do not want any trouble with Gringos down there. They are very worried about relations with the US and bad press. I would advise anybody to be very careful....both in terms of crime on streets, and in going with a girl with no ID. But in Medellin, most of the girls do not have ID and what is a monger to do...walk away from the hottest piece of ass he has ever seen because she had no ID? Some of you will choose to do that, and some will choose to be daring and trusting when she tells you she just turned 18. I have seen some very young girls working there that I would never touch. I think this is a two way street. If they want to crack down on this, they need to start making these babes carry ID. Until they do, I am cautious, I ask a lot of questions, and I make a decision based on what I believe to be true. If I think she is under 18 I walk on by.
On Calle 53, I have escorted street girls right to the hotel in front of ak-47 toting MP's, with no questions. In Parque Llerras, I sat on the park bench kissing Johanna, as cops walked by every few minutes giving me a sly smile...and nobody asked her for ID. I was not worried, because I had seen her ID and believed her to be 18...but the fact that they did not even notice this makes me believe it is not that big of a deal to them.
Gentlemen...this hobby of ours has risks. I don't need to get preachy and remind you of them all, but they are many. If you are really the nervous nelly type do NOT go to Medellin. You will be scared shitless and nervous all the time and will probably not enjoy yourself. Medellin is not for everybody. It is for the few, the brave, the daring...that really like to live on the edge and walk the wildside. If that is you...you will never know what you are missing till you go there. I do worry that one day something will happen to one of our brethren...and I will feel horrible if they went there because of my rosy picture. I do not want to sugar coat this. There is some danger involved. But then again....the call of the wild is strong and sometimes irrestible.

Radioman,
I've truly enjoyed reading your reports. I still remember meeting you a few years ago in Costa Rica. Wow - I only wish that I had the ability to travel as you do!
Kudos to you for learning Spanish! Did you remember that time we had dinner at News Cafe in the Presidente? Now, you're talking with street girls in Medellin! Incredible. It's great to see you having such a great time. Moreover, it's cool to see a monger who is both responsible and a gentleman, such as yourself and the hombres on this board.
Best regards,
-274

Play: Great to hear from you and I am sorry we don't get to hang out together on the rail of the News Cafe in San Jose, watching the morning parade of babe flesh walk by. What a time that was. I never thought I would say this, but I have found an even more incredible paradise in Medellin. Love to get you over there sometime. Thanks for the kind words.

Reality Check
Radioman
I could not have put it better myself
I always tell all the guys (including Aussie Greg, my partner) there is a false security in Medellin, particularly when you get out of poblado area
I read the paper everyday, street crime is as bad as in any other city with 3 million people
of course, Poblado is the safest, its always been, even a few years back, this is where all the politicians, higher-up police and rich Paisas live and play
nevertheless, I feel it is safer than Caracas, Rio or Mexico city or even Cali, but because more gringos visiting, naturally the odds of a gringo being a victim increase
the 3 foreigners that I know of that were killed last year (none in Medellin) were not targeted because they were foreigners, one of the 2 Italians was set up by a Colombian he met in Italy, the other was boasting he had a lot of money (which he did not, poor bastard) in low end brothels to impress the girls,(two girls set him up) and the one in Cali was targeted after he withdrew a large amount of money at the bank(this used to be a common occurrence in Colombia, somebody bumps into you inside the bank and puts a mark on your clothing and either you are robbed outside or followed till is convenient, its been said even some bank tellers are in on some of this scams)
So as you can see, you should always be aware of your surroundings and exercise common sense, if you are going to the barrio with your novia, don't follow a pattern, hire a driver and don't stay after dark
rule of thumb for me, if I am not sure of an area i asked my taxi driver, if he does not want to go there or pick me up after dark, i don't go
this is true even in large cities in the States
that is one the reasons why we needed a safe location for the mansion, we are in the safest area of poblado, the banking district called "the golden mile"
We wanted to offer a no brainer mongering experience and I think we achieved this, of course, some like Radioman and Cubanut want some added adrenaline and venture out of poblado, most likely they will be okay, they just increase the chances of being victims
Gringo Prices
some of the guys staying with us are overpaying for street action, one told me he paid 150K to a San Diego street girl for all night, way too much
I explained to him the payment structure and politely pointed out he may be driving prices up for everybody else, he apologized and said he knew better, but she was worth it
please guys, lets try to stick to the pricing structure for everybody's sake, when in doubt, check RadioMan Cubanut or Wallstreet fine reports for current prices
San Diego street action
it seems the girls are coming back after the police stopped harassing them (it happens from time to time)
after the incident with Sandman in this area,we don't recommend walking around here, too bad
it seems it was an isolated incident and none of my sources (bouncers, taxi drivers and vendors in the area have an explanation for it)
one theory from a young street walker is Sandman has such an ugly mug,it resembled the attackers mother in law (just kidding)
Radioman, you have created a monster, seems AnaMaria is fast becoming one of our hottest commodities, she is almost as popular as Olga, our incredible masseusse
many guys even inquiring when is she on the rag to plan accordingly,(no kidding)but not to worry, you always have a special place in her heart
looking forward to seeing you soon

Robert...how nice to see you weigh in on this post and add some wisdom to the fantasy. I know you speak the truth, mi amigo. I am delighted that Ana Maria is getting more business. She is like the frat house girl at college who doesn't really go to college, she just lives there to fuck guys. What a sweet heart. I intend to give her a thorough work out on my next run down south that happens to be ....THIS WEEKEND! See ya down there.
Glad to know the San Diego area is coming back to it's normally high standards. I hope to sample some of that action. I read Sandmans report and hoped that it was not going to turn into a regular event over there. Glad to know it isn't.
As you can tell...the place has me addicted.
