I had planned this trip a couple of months ago, and then discovered that Nikon announced the new D200 10.2 Mega pixel camera, and I had to have it for this trip. Fortunately, I had a few days to play with it, because the camera performs better than my photography skills. It turns out that 10 mp is so sensitive that one has to use a higher shutter speed or risk getting camera blur. The photo enthusiasts here will see the focusing, and exposure problems I had at the beginning of the trip. I hope that the later pics will show improvement as the trip progresses.

I took my usual United flight to Bkk via Japan. Being a 1K on United puts me in a business seat which is a real luxury on United. I think United economy is horrible, and I'm not thrilled with the schedule either, but I put up with it for the business class seats. I booked my seat next to the exit, so at Bkk I was literally the first person off the plane. This is very important because of the 11pm arrival time. There was no line at passport control, and I was in a cab heading to my hotel within 15 minutes of exiting the plane. I dropped off my bags at the Majestic Grande without checking in so I could be at Nana Plaza in plenty of time to find me a girl. I was at Angelwitch by 12:15 and was immediately attacked by this one.

She's older than average but a very good performer, and I love photographing her. Unfortunately, this is where I began to have my first problems with the camera so please forgive the pics.

I really enjoy the Majestic Grande for about 2700 Baht, but I may stay at the Majestic Suites from now on at 1550 Baht. I was checking it out for my family trip to Thailand in February, and I now know they have internet access in the rooms. That is very important to me. Here is a cool pic I took from my hotel room thru the glass. You can see the reflection of the TV.



I spent one more night in Bkk and picked up this one from Rainbow I think. Not very memorable, but nothing bad to report either.

I met up with my friend, and a fellow CH member. We met in Rio where he was kind enough to show me around. He'd never been to Thailand before so he looked liked a "lost dog on the freeway". Just kidding. He was fine, but like most of us was in need of a little guidance on his first trip. We shared a cab to Pattaya the next day where he stayed at LK Metropole, and I stayed at Dynasty for the last time. Nothing wrong with the Dynasty really, but there is a brand new condo/hotel next door named Whitehouse. I went in and got a tour of the rooms. They are only 1250 Baht a day, and they have broadband internet access and safes in the rooms. It is also much better furnished than Dynasty, but of course that isn't saying much.

I'm a little hazy on the exact chronology of my week in Pattaya, especially after meeting up with 2 more fellow CH members. I don't want to mention their names yet because I haven't cleared it them yet. Great guys to hang with, although they had to leave me in the dust a few times when I fell in love on Soi 7/8. I also ran into Epi on Soi 6 one day. Big Surprise, and met a Rio vet who's name I also can't mention yet. There was another Rio vet that I had hoped to meet up with, but time ran out.

The first night I hooked up with this girl from Hot & Cold GoGo on Soi 13/2 I think. Not a lot of talent at this bar, but it does have a nice atmosphere, and is only 2 short blocks from Dynasty. My last trip to Pattaya, I was lazy and barfined 4 different girls from the same place, so they obviously know they're dealing with a big butterfly.

I was a little more rested the next night so the group of us did some serious barhopping. I had wanted to check out Coyotes again because on my last trip I saw some very good looking talent there. I'm sorry to say I was disappointed this time, but it was the week between Xmas and New Years, and it's possible some of the better girls might have barfined for some long periods. In fact I noticed a general lack of stunners than I usually see. I'm not sure if I'm just getting pickier, or whether it was the holiday season. Don't get me wrong though, there were plenty of beautiful women to choose from. I thought the best place overall was Happy a GoGo, and that is where I found this little thing. She was very vivacious, and fun to be with, but very careful in the bedroom; read cbj. I still liked her enough to barfine her another night, and these pics encompass both nights.

I finally spent some time on Sois 7 & 8 because of the guys I was with. I did see some lookers, but it takes work to find them. I'm not a big fan of sitting around these bars, and joking around with the less "gifted" girls. I know it's a lot of fun for some, but I find it a little boring. I found this girl on Soi7 I think. She was a little crazy, and didn't have the perfect body, but she was a very "bad girl" in the bedroom. I wish I had gotten better pics of her, but she was pretty temperamental, and hard to control.

Some of the other bars I ventured into were, Living Dolls, Champions, and the Supergirls, and Superbabies. I was disappointed with Living Dolls, and Champions, but was impressed with the "Super" bars. I just didn't see the talent I usually see in LDs, and Champions just seems a little seedy. The following girl came from a "Super" bar; can't remember which. She was a very sweet girl; I hope she can stay that way.

Our little group actually did some sightseeing one day. We just went up to Buddha Mountain in the late afternoon, and took some pictures. It was a pretty gloomy afternoon. Ordinarily, I think Pattaya looks a lot more cheerful. I think the last one is of Koh Larn if I'm not mistaken. I plan on going there with my family next month.





I spent some time preparing for my family trip in February. My Mom, Daughter, and 2 brothers are coming. I got them all free tickets using my frequent flier miles on United. My Mom and one Brother are coming from Montreal, and I was lucky enough to get them Business seats. They have a 14 and a half hour flight from JFK to Seoul, Korea. That would be torture in coach. I got them all used Nokia cell phones at MBK in BKK, and got sim cards and minutes all set. Should make life a lot simpler with good communications. I had initially planned on staying in Jomtien, but, surprisingly my Mom wanted to see the real Pattaya. The idea is for her and my Daughter to spend evenings together in the suite I got for them, while my Brothers and I hit the bars.

All in all this was a very good trip, although I did find myself getting a little bored toward the end. I've done 3 Pattaya trips in almost 3 months. After my family trip, I think I will be ready for another Rio trip. Variety is the spice of life.

You found some beautiful babes. The late evening shot of Pattaya bay is nice. Did you have to register the sim cards that you bought for your family? Ive shot a lot in Majestic Grande. Its take a while to learn the light dynamics of the room. The resolution of your photos is amazing. Did not see any data on the pics. What kind of lense and flash did you use? Congrats on your new purchase.

Bahtman, coming from you the compliments are really appreciated even though the camera did most of the work. Sorry that the exif data does not go thru. I used the Nikon 17-55 f2.8 and the SB800 in bounce mode; a great combo.
I don't have any artistic talent like you; I just try to use technology to get the clearest images I can.

Great pics and great Girls, I will be in Thailand in Feb and have just bought myself a new Nikon L101 (6.2meg with a 5X optic zoom) I wanted a nice easy pocket camera, so far I am very happy with it but I don't think IT will match the quality of your pics, so I will have to work on the content:-)

I don't normally chime in on Thailand posts because I'm more of a latin lover.

But I must compliment you on your choice of women. Most of the pictures I see coming out of BKK or Pattaya are from girls who I would normally consider "Average". Your choices are stunning.

I'll need to get back to Thailand for another look.

I am finding more and more that a quality camera is a requirement on these trips. When you get back to workland in the States, its nice to have high resolution pictures to reflect back upon.

Brave or crazy I guess. Actually, my Daughter will be home schooled in the evenings by my Mom. That should keep them out of the deep end. I did give my Mom a choice between Jomtien, and Pattaya. I thoroughly explained what things were like, and she chose Pattaya.

Justdan: It's not hard to find these at all, but you do have to barhop because the talent can change from night to night or even hour to hour. Also it takes a little practice because the girls often look a lot better on stage than when you get them into real light:-)

Good hanging out with you Av8tr. Yes I'm one of the mystery hombres that dragged Av8tr up and down Soi 7/8. Although I'm more of a Go-Go guy, the expensive high season bar fines made me visit (almost) every beer bar in town (and yes Pattaya has a lot of beer bars).

I have a very real chance of being in Asia from May until August so if you have the free time we can meet up again. Nice pics by the way

It was good times on Soi 8/7… I’m the other mystery hombre. Great times. I just got back state side and feeling the deep depression that some guys have talked about. Hope fully when I get some free time, we can all do it again. Great report.

I pulled three girls from Angelwitch in Pattaya last week, and they were all excellent performers, but I didn't think the beauty level was all that high. Previously, I had made friends with mamasan Nik in the BKK bar (bought her drinks), she was on loan in Pattaya and as usual was helpful.

The mamasans and girls are kind of aggressive in AW, the manager says it's because they're new and not yet trained the way they should be.

Nice report, excellent pics, especially "Hot and Cold" girl, who I think is just f'ing gorgeous.

Sounds like a real find of a hotel in that Whitehouse place. In-room internet and a safe at that location at that price sounds pretty damned good.

Re: bringing mom and the kid to Pattaya, not MY idea of a family vacation, but you sure ain't in uncharted territory as every damned Euro and their baby strollers seem to hit that town HARD. Seeing family outings on Walking St. is just a TRIP. Have fun.

As for the porno type shots, I've all but given up on them. I'm sure I could add it to my screening criteria, which would greatly increase the odds, but then again i would probably opt for video in that case.

Nice pics and glad your liking your D200. I really like the 18-200VR lense and got some beautiful shots while in China.


The street nightshot is very nice-- specially the blues on the building. I find the white rectangle on the left (billboard) very distrating though and would remove it.
