While fully appreciative of the merits of the well tested and reliable hunting grounds I, like others in this board (the first who comes to mind is IAS), have a taste for getting to out of the way places or places that are in the lesser degree of the comfort zone. Consistent w that is my willingness to test the local SG action whenever possible. I guess some of it has to do w the potential safety issues (usu not the case) as well as the chances for finding the diamond in the rough as well as a taste for the fresh of the bus/fresh of the farm types.

So here it goes:

Navy Club: I believe on street 63 (will find out exact location if anyone really needs it but Motodop should know). TJ style rooms. Went there once, daytime, around 11?, had a fishbowl looking area that was empty but as soon as I walked in mamasam started clapping and it started filling up. It was a slow trickle and initially I was bummed at the quality but I waited as it became apparent that the chicks were waking up or getting dressed or whatever. I think there were 12 or so w maybe 4 doables in concarne's scale. Thankfully there was 1 cute viet that was very doable. She was 18 and tight w a great firm body, face was OK, 0 english. The downside was that she was a bit scared of barang and was very reluctant to engage initially, once we got going she started getting into it nicely, actually a very decent session. She did complaint about my size at the end (lots of comments about that during the trip...the average size of the cambo men must be small...witness trying to put one of those Number 1 condoms..they almost cut my circulation!). $10 for the massage fee and $5 to the girl...later I found out that if you directly deal w the mamasam and specify what you want you will get all for $10 (you should still tip the girl $1)..you gotta be cool cuz I guess there is some fear from the NGOs or police kickbacks...who knows. At any rate, it should be $10 or less.

Street 63 barber shops/massage places: if you are standing kitty corner from the Navy Club and looking directly at it, go right and walk a few blocks (3?), eventually on your right side you will see barber/massage shops that on inspection should be staffed by vietnamiese. You can be taken care of here for $5. Lesser TJ style rooms.

It's good these places are still up and going. I'd go to street 63 around lunch time each day when the gals were still fresh. Every so often the cops would close out Street 63, and one time, I was there when the cops came a calling
:-) Was Tommy's still around, this was the only place not closed down b/c it's reported to be operated by the cops, perhaps that's why they kept closing down the competition.

Hun Sen Park: close to Wat Phnom, SGs here at all hours of the night, $5-10 should do it ST. Comments have been made re potential safety issues due to pimp presence as well as yaba usage. I would not be hesitant to be there early eve but late in the night I would at least want a motodop dude w me.

Riverfront: a couple of nights I could not sleep (jetlag) and hanged out in front of the California 2. Saw quite a few girls walking by the riverfront as well as jetting by in scooters and almost always throwing an inquiring look my way. Likely scorable and some of this may be occasional practicioners looking for some extra cash.

Stadium streets: same price scale as Hun Sen Park, same caveats. Did not check it out but from hearsay it sounds as it merits a look on the next trip.

Beu Dien?: this is a slum bldg by the Victory Monument. Not sure if I can give very good directions but motodops in front of the WA should be able to take you there. I paid $10 ST until finished however long, it was $20 LT...grossly overpaid I should say...next time $5 but I was a little sketched out initially and I just wanted to get a move on. The mamasan will show u a couple of girls, and keep on bringing them from around the bldg until U find something U approve of. I am not sure I would be cool w going there at night w/o a wingman. The room was surprisingly clean, bit better than TJ style. Some fresh of the farm w surprising good quality.

hrmm wonder if that's the "apartment building"

if so, been there plenty of times. Talent is up and down, but there r some very cute gals to be had there.

Was it a white bld, maybe 3 or 4 stories high, close by there is a university of some kind...?
