The barfine is the same price everywhere in AC except Stingers. 1000p ($20) for all night and 300-500p ($6-$10) for short-time, which is typically 1 - 3 hours.

Right, that's the Kristy from Misty's Bar, she and all others there are temporarily dancing or waitressesing at Blue Nile until it re-opens. I told Kristy it was rummored she was a lez but she flatly denied it but it certainly explains to me why she wouldn't let me pay her barfine. Yes, nice body, not breasty but a very lively and fun girl to hang with and darn if that girl doesn't have the dance moves, she's a great dancer. I love to watch her dance.

The barfine at Stingers is 1100p. Most guys who have never been to AC may say "so what, that's only $2 USD"... In the PI that extra money goes a long way. Besides, Stingers' lineup was average at best.

Heck, I'm still surprised AC doesn't raise the price more, what a bargain at 1000P. If I recall correctly, when I first went there it was 600P or 700P, back in '93.

About in '95, Stinger's moved from their Fields Ave. location into their present one and it was the nicest bar then, now it's alredy showing it's age. The layout is odd, they generally don't permit single guys to sit in the two booths opposite the dancers, so you are nearly forced to sit right underneath the dancers which I've never really liked. Some guys like that but I don't. That's why I don't go there anymore too. I'd say many of the bars really don't plan the bar around the customer, some manage to do it better than others but many fail in that regard.

We're getting a better deal right at 1000p because the dollar is stronger. I think back in the early 90s the peso was somewhere around 35 - 45 to the dollar.

The management at Stingers are assholes. Just ask Xkansan - he had a few words to say about the mamasan. Also, seems to me a guy should be able to sit anywhere he wants. After all - he's the customer!

Lastly,

To Hombre: What's up with grabbing all of Bingo's pics and sticking them into your gallery (where members have to pay for them). Bingo made a point to post them with his report! Let us enjoy them for crying out loud! I can understand trying to keep this board alive but keep this crap up and you're going to fail (IMHO).

The exhange rate or value has always been around $20 for "x" Pisos from what I remember for a barfine. It may have been $22 then though.
