Siera and Bintan Mawar are a short distance down a street almost directly across Mangga Besar from Sparks Hotel—very convenient. But I found Siera to have limited attractions, and an overly pushy mamasan. However, the fee is only 180,000 Rp., the cheapest of all the bars, to take a girl upstairs for an hour.
The first time I went in, I saw Uci from my first trip, but I wanted a new girl. When I didn’t spot one I liked among the few girls in the bar, the mamasan took me throughout the place, finding girls here and there in nooks and crannies. Then, I saw Iin, whose spinner body immediately aroused my lust. And her performance satisfied it quite well.

The next time there, mamasan walked me in and brought over a girl right away—and ordered a drink for her when I ordered one. I had rejected the girl by the time the drink came, and I told her I didn’t want it. It just stayed on the bar, and when I didn’t see a girl I liked and asked to look around, Iin had come over to say hello, and I pushed the drink at her. Well, that meant I had to pay for it when I left disgusted a few minutes later—I hadn’t seen any girl I wanted, and the mamasan was really pissing me off because she had pushed on me all four or five of the girls in the immediate area despite my having tried to tell her none of them interested me, show me some other girls. I wasn’t happy paying for it, but just wanted to get out. And I didn’t return.
BEWARE: There is a “Siera” sign on Mangga Besar that is just down the street to the right of the little street off Mangga Besar that leads to the Siera Bar that has the girls. The “Siera” that the sign advertises is not the right place:

I went into the disco one night, about 11 PM, and found it to be DEAD. The typical very loud music, a few couples, mostly empty space. It wasn’t a very big space, at least. 30,000 Rp. entry, so I took one for the team. Maybe it’s a new business, maybe it starts rocking after 1 AM, maybe I’ll check it out further one night on my way home late—if I get bored.
Bintan Mawar
I didn’t do too well at BM this time, either, although the bar was full of hotties. One time I was there, I was looking around, after getting the mamasans to stop pushing girls on me. I saw a cutie go back towards the bathroom, and asked a mamasan to go get her. It turned out to be Dena, whom I had done on my very first visit to Bintan Mawar, but she had to remind me. That was awkward, since although I had good memories of her, I wanted someone new. And after I sent her away, she kept giving me looks—I wasn’t sure if they were glaring or wistful, although that’s probably my wishful thinking filter at work. I found a girl who was very good—typical of Indonesian service—but I didn’t remember to write down her name, and she wasn’t too camera-friendly.

The next time, I went to BM to join Porker and MX; they had been there a while and went up with their chosen girls a few minutes after I arrived. It took me 15 or 20 minutes to choose a girl, and I learned an important lesson that I hadn’t learned the first time I was there:
DO NOT try to session around 4:30 – 5:00, you might have to sit in the hallway outside the rooms for up to 45 minutes waiting for a room.
When I discovered this last summer, I didn’t know it was rush hour, I guess I thought it was always (or on unpredictable occasions) like that. Unable to communicate then, I amused myself by watching several rays and a lionfish in the aquarium. This time, I amused myself and several girls who were also waiting by trying to learn bahasa Indonesia from a phrasebook I had. MX and Porker passed me on their way out of the rooms while I was still waiting. My girl was a total hottie, but unfortunately would not allow any pictures.
Travel Hotel
I walked down to Travel Hotel from Sparks, an 8 – 10 minute walk. Supposedly, the “disco” opened at 2 PM, and I got there about 2:20. Only a few girls were there, and I asked for one that had been recommended by a friend. The mamasan brought her out, but she didn’t turn me on as much as another girl there, who I took. I was mildly disappointed, no pictures and no GFE, OK sex. I returned the next day to find Mary, my favorite from the prior trip, and was not disappointed this time, or another time or two when I came back to see Mary. There were at least a half dozen others that looked tempting enough to take, but I stuck with this very sweet girl who gave great service.

TC’s (Today’s Country)
I hate this place, although others love it. The couple times I have been in there, it has been too dark, and even near the door/bathrooms where there is some light, I had trouble getting a decent look at the girls. I didn’t session the first time I was there with other guys. The second time, when I staked out a seat near the entry from the parking lot, a pushy mamasan kept bringing unacceptable girls. I told her what I wanted, and still she brought girls that didn’t fit that description. And I didn’t see any I wanted anywhere around, to the extent I could see, except one so reluctant when mama brought her over to me that I passed on her. Finally, I saw one coming from the bathroom that looked good, and mamasan fetched her. Although she had a hot body, tall and slim, she wouldn’t kiss or allow me to kiss her anywhere, and gave a few licks for a BBBJ. And no pictures, either, so it was almost a total waste, one of the two BAD sessions I had in Jakarta.
But I understand that LT is available from freelancers working there, so I will give it another try next time. If MX loves it, there's something there for me.
