As much as a begged and pleaded with my kindly boss, I was only able to get two weeks off for this trip.
I left at 9:30 am connected in denver landing in Los Angeles. My EVA flight was almost 2 hours late departing to Taipei, It was late arriving, then the tow vehicle died pushing us back from the gate, then a Swissair 747 was coming in... I had an 11:15PM connection to BKK and figured they would make up some time in the air. Not. I guess the headwinds would not allow so we landed on time at 11:15PM. The flight attendant assured me the Bangkok flight would wait, I figured there were others on the flight, quite a few actually. After we had landed in taipei and the jet was taxi-ing to the gate, the FA's went around and got all the connecting passengers to line up by the door for "Priority Debarkation", pretty cool since the plane was still moving down the tarmac. That would never happen in the US.
Anyway, got my flight and landed in BKK , bags came around promptly. I was concerned about landing at 3AM and getting some currency exchanged for taxi fare, but by baggage claim there are vending machines to change dollars, and there was one exchange booth open. I snagged a taxi meter outside and arrived at the Majestic Grande about 3:45AM ( 300 baht)I had booked an executive Floor room, It was quite nice as was the 25th Floor lounge . I slept until 9:30AM. The breakfast buffet was killer. I loved the fruit, 3 juices daily of which there was always one I could not identify ( yes, they were labeled)and the smoked fish.
Changed some money, and felt I better get some sex in because I would need more sleep soon. It was about 11:30AM and considered Tulip, but hit Annies instead. As I expected , the selection was fair at best. I chose an aging, but still attractive woman with a quite nice body and fake tits. She gave me a nice soapie and then road me till I blew. I booked the Sabai Lodge, actually, the Sabai Wing, the newer 6 story hotel on Soi 1. The rooms are nice and not as noisy as the ones on Soi 2 that get all the music from the Beer bars.
I like the location, across the street is Big C and some decent restaurants in the Big C complex, I really liked Pink Kitchen as well as Fuji for sushi. Ate at both several times. I also like the fact that if you don't find any BG's to your liking there are 3 soapies right there also.
I was sad to see that my favorite Beer bar from the last trip, The Dickey bar was closed and for sale. Wandered down to Soi 4 and played some bar games with Gun, she's only 19 and seems fairly new to the business. I guessed this on our first night as she was quite hairy in nether regions. But her sweet and playful actions more than made up for it. Very unrushed and fun to be with.

Next day dropped off some laundry. Across Soi 2 from the Sabai is the Welkom Inn, there is a foot massage there and a laundry sign with an arrow.

Wandered Walking Street, In and out of so many go-gos. The new Angel Witch is nice, airy, some creative feature dances , but the line up was nothing special. Happy was just too crowded. Living Dolls had a mediocre line up, although the manager, a nice Australian fellow made it a point to spot be and chat for a while. Not surprising, used 2 rolls of toilet paper the next day. Visited Coyote go go and Dollhouse.
Coyote has a nice set up, very airy, 2 story with a fireman poll thet the girls occassionaly use to come down then onto the stage. There are also a few open air seafood restaurants right there. Good shrimp and squid cooked on the grill.

I spent several afternoons trolling Soi6.On a hot day, a cheap beer and an inexpensive ladydrink get a lot of mileage. I took one girl upstairs to the 300 Baht room and fucked her mouth. I booked a Taxi Meter, 1000 Baht all tols included from a kiosk on second Road and Soi 2. He was waiting for me when i checked out at 8:30 AM. It was a clean Corolla, not bad. When I arrived at BKK, the computers were down at EVA Air. They had to hand write the boarding passes and baggage tags. We did manage to leave on time. In Taipei I had enough miles to upgrade to Business class and took the long leg upstairs on the 747. Not bad, not great, had an empty seat next to me so I was able to sleep a lot. I am still fighting off lingering jet lag, have been sleeping a lot, mostly at work so thats Ok.

Majestic Grande was about US$110 through Precision Reservations. This was for a deluxe Executive, corner room, 22nd floor.It included Breakfast and taxes, I had no additional charges upon check out.

Hi Baddog, The initially quoted rate on the precisionreservations.com does not include taxes and fees. The rate they quote on your room today is $113 but when you click book they charge you an additional $22 in Gov't. Tax and Hotel Service Fees which brings the total per night to $135. Asiarooms.com is still cheaper today at quoted price of $126 and that includes all taxes and fees with nothing additional at booking or checkout. I love the place and have stayed there many times. I loved Nut's quote " I take care of my pussy" nice report, can't wait for the pics!

I double checked my charges and indeed the total price was $112 per night inclusive. Another great quote that I failed to include was from NetLe at Tulip ... she asked me "Did you learn to speak Thai from a T Shirt?"

For that coin I much prefer marriot, westin, and/or SGS, not to mention at least one can muster up some points meanwhile.

I usually book a standard room thru their sister hotel, the Majestic Suites. It's 2700 Baht including taxes and breakfast. $70 Great place, but from now on I'll stay at Majestic Suites for 1550 Baht. It's almost as good.
