Since I had such a good time in Angeles City last summer, I headed back there to begin my winter trip, to spend Christmas and New Year’s in Asia, not in Rio de Janeiro for the first time in several years—and celebrate my 60th birthday. In AC, I could afford to have a little party with one girl for each decade. So I booked a round trip to Manila, using frequent flyer miles to fly first class on Asiana, returning on Singapore Airlines. I would go to AC first, then Jakarta, on to Thailand, and spend a night in Singapore on the way home in mid-January.

The flight out on Dec. 2 was quite nice, I hadn’t flown first class in a long time, and decided I’d have to treat myself again. I got some good sleep, and wasn’t too jet-lagged after I arrived.

Before I left, I had e-mailed Chona, the bisexual beauty who had helped make my last stay so memorable. But my rate was in dollars, the credit card slip was in pesos, and although I thought the sums were off, I wasn’t sure about the exchange rate yet. And I didn’t have my feet on the foreign ground enough to feel like protesting and maybe miss the bus. When I flew out of Manila on the way home, I stayed at the Lotus Garden for two nights, and they tried to pull the same thing—charging me the rack rate when I had a lower internet rate. But this time, I pulled out the confirmation, and they changed my bill to the correct amount. I started to think the guys on the board who say the Filipinos are out to cheat you might be correct….

Teresa couldn’t come to the airport, but she arrived at the Wild Orchid within a few hours of my arrival, and I spent my first night with her. She became my girlfriend for the trip, although we did not spend all the nights of my stay together. She was staying with her cousin, and went there some nights (or maybe she had Filipino boyfriend—who really knows?), and went to Manila to see her parents for a few days at one point. But she was my type of girlfriend: she wanted to please me, and since I had met her with another girl, she wanted me to be happy by picking up another girl to be with us most of the nights we were together. She wasn’t bi like Chona had been, although she did stroke other girls’ breasts occasionally. And she was an enthusiastic “second girl,” urging me to pay primary attention to the other girl we had brought home while she helped out. So we had our best sessions as a couple in the morning, after the other girls had left—and they were good indeed, she is an excellent lover.

Other than that, I had just been giving her 100 or 200 pesos to buy cigarettes, for trike fare to her cousin’s, etc. And as I write this, she has never asked me for money. Of course, I gave her a few thousand pesos when I parted from her. Still, less than I would have paid a working girl. And I still had some mixed feelings about that, since she and her family clearly needed money.

Barhopping one night, Teresa and I ended up at Champagne, where we ended up focusing on two girls dancing on stage that we both liked. They knew we were considering choosing between the both of them, and so they strutted their stuff. Both had long tongues, which they wagged at us suggestively. Teresa was pretty much my girlfriend at that point, and I really did want to take her along. But I had pretty much committed to Zeny already. What to do? It took me about three seconds to decide to take them both. I didn’t think Teresa knew Zeny at all, so that would be a possible issue—Zeny wouldn’t have any objections, but Teresa might (although she had been pretty happy to help me choose other girls to share our bed).

I gave Teresa a big hug and a little kiss (we were in public), then scolded her for a minute for staying away so long and not calling me. And then, I explained the situation to her. Fortunately, she said she had no problem with the idea of Zeny coming along, if that would please me. We went into the travel agent and completed the arrangements. That night, Teresa told me she had some pains in her belly when we made love, that it wasn’t comfortable. This pain didn’t go away….

The next day, our driver Irwin picked up Teresa and me at the hotel, and we drove a few blocks to pick up Zeny, who had slipped away telling her mamasan that she was going to Manila for a few days. The ride to Batangas was uneventful, except for the rain that made the drive a bit more treacherous than normal, but it got interesting after that….

Blazers, I have similar reactions but for completely different reasons. I have zero problem with anyone paying a girl for whatever reason after he's been STIFFING HER for several nights before that. While it's indeed natural for a monger to try and 'test' a girl as to why she's spending time with him, it really isn't 'right' to expect a girl 1/3 your age to be the star of your orgy fantasties for free. They very few times I have had someone staying with me and it's a non-barfine situation (and I am clearly not looking for a LTR) I gave about 1000 pesos a day. That is pretty generous I think. So either Porker is getting more generous or I am getting more kuripot.

This whole temporary girlfriend thing lies in a very grey area. If both parties are sincerely seeking to make an in real life LTR or you are keeping the girl for an extended period of a week or more, then a think smaller levels of payments or gifts are appropriate.

I agree with Porker though, it's a slimey move to treat a girl like a whore (or courtesean if you prefer) and then stiff her because she is to shy to ask for the money. When I am in Angeles, I operate on a simple compensation structure. The rules of the structure are as follows:

1) All tabs are closed (tip is paid) each morning or, in the case of short time, when the lady is about to leave. No tabs are ever left open for more than 24 hours.

2) For an all-nighter, the woman gets 500 pesos, generally. From time to time, the woman will get more than 500 pesos at my discretion, but the all-nighter would have to be something out of the ordinary. These times are rare and exceptional. At no time will I ever exceed 1000 pesos.

3) If a woman decides to dart out early or has an unacceptable attitude, most of the time, there is no tip.

4) Short timers generally get something under 500 pesos depending upon how I feel. They will always get something, just not 500.

5) There are certain rare exceptions to the above rules where more compensation may be appropriate. For example, you are doing a porn shoot and taking professional shots for a website or you want the woman to perform anal sex, etc.

If we all have a compensation structure, then we can discourage the likes of Yum Yum, keep the rates at acceptable levels and create an atmosphere of fair dealing.

I want you all to develop a compensation structure. I will present the different structures to the board so the stockholders can vote on it at the next meeting.

I agree with keeping the prices down. However, there is one benefit to these girls having a few extra pesos that few ever talk of. I was reminded of it when my hk went back to the province with her cousin this week. Both girls no longer work in bars and both are going back to see their sister's/cousin's graduation where there will be LOADS of hot, potential future bargirls.

The second they step into town with their bulging wallets, every other townswoman, townswoman's child, etc... will have their eyes of envy out, wishing they had more money and adventure like these girls whether it is true or not. Before you know it... more girls are on the bus to Angeles. Let's face it, the more these girls talk highly and spend the big pesos... the more cherry girls get on the bus with them on their return. It is not ALL bad.

Keeping a tight reign is important for this and for hotels and taxis imho. But at least in this realm there is a slight benefit.

I think one of the problem is in thinking ANY girl is not after your money and testing her accordingly. I'll go ahead and pull back the curtain on this one. THEY ARE ALL AFTER OUR MONEY. It doesn't matter whether they are from the PI, America, or the North Pole.... They all have the same dream... that daddy will bring home the bacon.

Soc--How right you are. One hombre thinks I pay a girl too much, another suspects I'm stiffing the same girl.

But the tough crowd helps me be tougher on the girls when I have to, and I'm really a softie who needs the input (delivered gently or not). Still, I'm a little surprised that some of the people who actually know me believe I behave so poorly/inappropriately.

When I barfine a dancer, I normally give her a standard tip: 500 pesos (700 if she's REALLY good) for LT. Nothing extra for ST. 1,000 standard for a non-barfined LT, 500 for ST. Paying market rate is something I try to do: no more, no less. But I treat my girlfriends better than that, and Teresa got more from me than she would have if I had been barfining her. I just didn't document every time I gave her something, especially at the end(s) of the trip.

Porker--I am not trying to get freebies, I'll leave that to the young studs. Yes, I'm envious of them, not because of the money, but because I'm not the young stud I used to be. So I have no illusions about the basis of my attraction to the working girl crowd (even though Teresa was maybe not typical of that group). Because a girl doesn't ask for money, I am MORE willing to give her money.

My compensation structure (see above) is pretty much the same as yours, except that I pay at the end--so when I said good-bye to Bea (third chapter, not yet posted) after four nights, I put 3,000 pesos (she was FANTASTIC) in her purse. I think it keeps them on good behavior; of course, they have to trust you.

Im the type of person that likes to minimize risk. Therefore, I generally like to barfine women that are licensed and working out of the establishments. There are many variables with freelancers and so I like to stay away from them. An unlicensed freelancer isnt screened by the government and not scrutinized by any establishment. If something goes wrong, there is no one to complain to like the mamasan or the bar owner.

A freelancer will disappear into the night, never to be heard from again. However, a woman working out of the bar cannot disappear so easily. If something goes wrong, there seems to be more recourse if the woman is working out of the bar.

I guess I take a more paranoid approach to mongering, but I enjoy having some piece of mind instead of having to worry about variables.

So the answer to your question is that I wouldnt know about the fee structure for freelancers. I guess it would be about 1000 pesos for long-time if I ever went down that road.

In any event, everyone gets paid with me. Not too much or too little, but the market rate. Even if they are non-pros, I would still at least offer a little bit of cash since these people seem to be destitute.

IE--I agree with you 100% about the freelancer risks (and pay philosophy too). For instance, in Rio (I've been told), if you take a freelancer off the street (along Ave. Atlantica, not the sidewalk around Help) at night, you're either going to get robbed, or find "extra equipment"--or both.

I've never done freelancers in AC, but the term could refer to a dancer who is taking her day off with you, or skipping work. Then, her compensation wouldn't include the barfine. So that's why I wanted to pin that down.

I think some of you guys are too hard on Hunterman. I think the whole argument about whether or not Hunterman stiffed this girl or overpayed her is ridiculous. She was there as his companion, not as a barfined working girl. It's kind of strange to me how little the old veterans on CH understand Filipinas. Teresa quit bar working after only 2 weeks. She is not a whore at this point; either she found her job in Manila to be a better option or she just wasn't cut out for whoring (which most Filipinas are not, whatever you AC mongers might think). Anyway, the point is, if she is no longer a whore, then in Philippine culture it is absolutely rude and insensitive for a man to offer her money based on the amount of nights/rounds he had with her. Yes, most Filipinas are devious liars, but if she's a former Camelot girl, she would know how to ask for compensation for the sex if that was what she had wanted. The details of her story about her sister may be made up or embellished for convenience, but chances are high that she did need money for a family problem. Everyone in the Philippines needs money for family problems - that's a fact of life in a poor country.

The common practice with girlfriends in the PI is to give the girl some cash in an amount that is enough to help her but not so much as to really dent your wallet. I don't know what Hunterman's budget is, but it seems to me like he did the right thing.

Actually you are right AGR, I think I jumped to conclusions without reading the report more carefully. It seemed as if there were some details left out so I just made some incorrect assumptions. Reading back now he did the right thing and you cant blame the girl for trying to find an angle to get some money without trying to feel like a whore.

Porker, I understand where you are coming from, but Filipinas see this situation much differently from you. I have a friend in Makati named Marie who always organizes orgies for me. She's a friend and a fuckbuddy, but neither my girlfriend nor a whore. She would never accept money from me in return for an orgy or a few nights of one-on-one with me.
