Finally felt refreshed after three days of mongering and my body clock seemed to be in order. For those that think it's crazy to go to the gym during vacation, I think it really helps adjust your clock and forces you to go to sleep during hours that you feel too tired to sleep.

I have to agree with Epi,; I lived in the PI and go back monthly. I love the place and most of friends are Pinoy, but apart from a small, select group of very close friends, I don't trust any Filipino/a as far as I can throw him/her. Lying to get what you want/need is just a fact of life there. And without a doubt, Filipinas are the nosiest, most gossipy, and most jealous women in the world. That's the price you pay for the fact that they are also some of the most loving caring, and horny women on the planet. It's up to the individual guy to decide if the trade-off is worth it. I grew up in the NYC area and learned how to deal with criminals over the years. I always prepare for the times when I will get robbed. Everywhere I go, I take a huge bulging wallet and put it in the front of my pants. Inside the wallet, I stuff about 50 dollars and a few useless cards (library card, supermarket card, etc). This wallet is the "give up" and will satisfy most strong arm thieves.
