I believe Medellin is one of the best Street Girl locations in the world. The sheer number of gorgeous babes with great attitudes willing to rock your world for an hour would rival anywhere in the world. I got into mongering when I found the street girls of Tijuana. Medellin knocks TJ on it's ass. That does not mean you will not need to know your way around...you will. That is why I wrote "Radioman's Ultimate Street Girl Guide."

Calle 53 (near Botero Museum)

This is my favorite area, and perhaps the ONLY area where you can find street girls during the day. I have found them as early as 9-10am...but the hotties start arriving early afternoon. This area is located in El Centro about a block from the Botero Museum. Calle 53 and Avenida DeGrief is a busy street girl area where the babes keep coming till late at night. It can get dangerous after dark, so make your visits here in the light of day. The best hotties stand outside the El Faro Bar.



There are several other locations nearby. Right behind the Botero Museum you will usually find skinny street chicas huffing glue or paint. I do not recommend using them. Walk a block further where there are street vendors and vegetable markets, and you will find better girls standing on the corner in the middle of all this activity. This area gets busy around mid-day, and closes shop around 6pm when the shops close up shop...so go in the afternoon. Sometimes you will find the little shops or restaurants that dot the area.

The area around El Faro Bar is mixed with hotels, and homeless people. In the daytime it is fairly safe. I prefer the El Faro bar side of the street. On the other side where the hotel Luna Azul is located, homeless people lay on the streets. If you find a good chica there and she wants to go to the Hotel Luna Azul, you have to walk the gauntlet through sometimes as many as a dozen drunk Colombinos to get to your short time hotel room. Every one is them eyes you up and down like they want a piece of you. It is a bit unnerving. Most of them are drunk.



Sometimes it's fun to bring a few street chicas to lunch inside one of the restaurants.

For what it may be worth, I have been told by several people who live in Medellin that the vegetable market area is very dangerous. It seemed safe enough to me in the day time, but I do not live there. Use caution.

I actually preferred the Luna Azul side of the street.

Calle 33 (Near Show San Diego Strip Club)

This area is never hopping during the day...not until late at night maybe 9-10pm...till about 2-3am. It relies on the strip club for traffic. As you stand outside Show San Diego...walk to your left and the first intersection is a great hangout, where you will find 2-12 chicas, and usually a street vendor or two. This is the place the taxi driver took me my first night in Medellin last July and refused to wait for me because it was too dangerous. I have heard of a few problems here, but it is close enought to the strip club with a hubub of activity there (taxis and street vendors) that you could run to safety. There are other blocks nearby where girls sit on the curb waiting for a car to come up and honk. If one does, they swarm the car. Be careful, some of them are thieves and will reach in and grab something.

You will also find street chicas around the corner on the right of this club...and then across the street under the overpass, but be careful. If there are chicos around do not approach these chicas. Just too dangerous with chicos around. Most of these babes will go with you to the Mansion because it is a short cab ride away, and it beats the crappy short time hotels here.

I have had some bad experiences with some street girls from this area. One tried to steal from me, and another grabbed my chest so hard digging her finger nails in that I was sure I would be bruised for a week. You never know what you will find here, but it is always worth a look.

If you don't find anything, you can always walk into the strip club. Always action inside this place.

A novia of over two years who warned me about the vegetable market knows that I play. She pleaded with me to use the San Diego area because it is more safe.

She also asked me to stay away from Mayorista because of the danger.

Mayorista (in the suburb of Itagui)

Pronounced EAT-a-wee. Tell your cab driver to take you to Mayorista. He will probably take you to the large truck market by the same name. If so, tell him to continue on for the bars, hotels and chicas. This is a 2-3 block area lined with chicas elbow to elbow, sometimes up to 100 of them on a busy night. Usually does not get busy till 10pm till 2am. I have seen good security here so I think it is pretty safe despite the late hour. The chicas line up TJ style. Because there are so many, and they stand so close, they do a lot of talking. They figure out what the going rate is, and develop a bit of a street girl attitude here. It just happens, not much you can do about it.

Sometimes you will find some newbies here right off the suburbs not sure if they really want to be a hooker or not. Your job is to convince them that they do...they REALLY do! You can find some real babes that way (see my report).

The babes here usually charge 20K per half hour, and 40K for an hour. I had a real hottie here demand money up front and try to uyp charge me after that for every little thing...so do be careful. The room will run you 17K. Most hotels are decent.

Most of the babes here do not want to leave the premises, but there are ways to convince them. I got one out of there and back to the Mansion for 100K for two hours (read the report) but I had Ana and Dannie talking her into it. I also pulled a street babe out of a cab in front of this place one time. She was leaving, and I was just showing up and had to have her. She looked like Reese Witherspoon.

Safety...we aren't in Kansas anymore!

The street girl scene is not for the nervous or squemish type. If you don't want to work for it, do not try this. The rewards are many, but only for the few, the courageous and brave.

One time I stepped over a pool of blood outside the Hotel Morgan. An angry chico caught his novia working at this hotel and stabbed her just minutes before I got there. Here is what I do to be careful:

I never drink...ever.
I never bring my passport, just a DL.
Only one ATM card with a little dinero on it.
I put them inside my pants in a hidden sown in pocket.
I carry most of my dinero inside the hidden pocket.
I carry throw away money in my right front pocket prepared to throw it if I am robbed....then run.
I never go near groups of young chicos.
I never stand in one place more than a minute or so. I keep moving. Don't let them think you are a target.
I have a brash attitude with a little swagger but I do not draw attention to myself.
However, I know I am the only gringo within 20 miles, so I assume I am always being watched and scoped out.
I dress like Colombianos do. No shorts...no tennis shoes...always khaki slacks and leather shoes.
I make friends. I figure you never know when you are going to need somebody really badly.
At night, in the dangerous area, I do not get out of the car.
In the room, I hang my pants on the front headboard, so I always know where they are while I am banging the chica. I never leave the chica in the room with my money. I assume she knows where I am carrying it.
I stay off the freakin Sex-cercise machine in the Hotel Eros!

Tomtom: Thanks for the added advice. ALL of these areas have some danger. Gringos are an oddity down there and we do stick out. If they think we have money, they are desperate and may try something. I have seen more security in these areas. I have seen big burly cops walking in twos through these areas keeping an eye on things, so I think it is better. But they are not there all the time, and you know what happens when the cat is away...the mice will play.

Street Girl Prices

The first street girl I ever did in Medellin offered her sex to me for 12K pesos (about $5 bucks. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Humina Humina...Humina. I said "Vamos"!
I ended up paying her about 20K (about 9 bucks) because I asked for more services in the room like kissing, photos, etc. Most of the street girls are going to want about 20K. We HAVE to keep the pricing down here guys. Let's not ruin this for everybody else. Sometimes I will pay more for extra services. We will start with 20K and then I want besos, or photos, and I end up paying about 30K. I also always ask for an hour because I just don't want a clock watcher.

Also, bring small change. If you talk to a chica, and you don't take her up, always nice to give her a few hundred pesos, just for fun. It is so little, but means a lot to them. 300K will buy them a lot.

Chicas and their Moms!

Yes, shocking but true. I have been offered a threesome with a chica and her mom on at least three occasions. One time, the mom was not half bad. It is an odd fantasy...but I have never done it only because the old woman does not do it for me. But it would be interesting to see what would happen in the room.

Pregnant Chicas

On my last trip, I saw a chica that was 6 months pregnant working the streets. Sadly this was a cute chica I had done about 6 months before...but I swear to God I used a condom. She wanted to go up, but I just could not bring myself to do it. I did tip her 20K for her bebe!

Street Girl Violence

It is a tough life on the streets, and most of these chicas have come from horrible homelives. Most of them have scars and marks. On trip #5 I found a cute chica with scratch marks on her face from a vicious cat fight with another working girl. The next trip I found her again, only this time she had HORRIBLE scratches on her face from a street girl fight. I mean she must have been held down and had the HELL scratched out of her cute little face. She wanted to go up, but she looked so bad I could not do it. I gave her 20K anyway. I worry about this one...who would do that to somebody???

Street Girl Shopping Trips

I can't bring gifts to the street girls because I am, running light. I don't normally bring them back to the mansion when I usually have little gifts. On a few occasions, if the girl really rocked my world, I have taken them down the street in El Centro and bought them a gift. It is a richly rewarding experience. However, as soon as the girl gets back she blabs and the next time they ALL want to go shopping. Chicas! Can't live with em, can't live without em!

I now have street girls shouting my name as soon as I get out of the cab....chicas I have never done! Word travels fast. I am a good guy and treat these babes well. I love street girls...so why wouldn't I. There are a few other gringos that go down to these areas...and I know a few of them. They always ask me if I know this guy or that...and usually I do. Treat them well...with respect...and they will love you for it. Most of these babes come from horrible home lives and local chicos have a very bad way of treating them. Most of these babes love gringos....because we treat them well. It is well worth the time and effort.

Radioman, the price for an hour in Mayorista should be 20K, also for the rooms are 10K for an hour, I have been in half a dozen hotels there and they charge the 10K.

Some of the girls will tell you the room is more expensive, the cashier takes the money and splits the differance with the girl, on my second trip there I was charged 20K for the room, but I waited around outside and watched the girl, take something from the cashier. Asked another girl the next trip and she told me the deal that some of the girls have.

There could be more expensive hotels there than the 10K ones though.

My friend has a factory a few blocks South of Mayorista in the daytime, there are some rough looking hookers standing on the streets near his factory, he says that they go for 5K a pop.

Some taxis drivers said to me in 2002 it was dangerous, but others not, also a couple of friends who live/work close by say not.

From what I have seen, I would expect the main street is fine, to many people about, but I wouldn't wander off to the side streets.

Probably the worst problem you could encounter on the main street is some druken Colombian or possibly a pickpoket.

Hunter...thanks for the assist. TomTom, I have been to Mayorista about 6-7 times in the last 6 months, and I found it safe. I agree with Hunter you should not venture onto the side streets...but why would you? I usually see patrolling cops in groups walking up and down the sidewalk...or standing there keeping an eye on things. I get the sense this place used to be like the wild west until Uribe was elected president and this is one place they cleaned up. Medellin Bob who lives there tells me the place is pretty safe, and I believe him.

In all my street girl ventures, I have never been concerned at Mayorista. I have been concerned a few times on Calle 33 near Show San Diego, and on Calle 53. Just my take, for what it is worth.

As for pricing...the hot chicas are trying to upsell you on everything. I had one want more money for pictures...and she was so hot I agreed. I paid her 5,000 pesos. After three pictures she stopped and told me it would be more for more pictures. I just said forget it. If she was not so hot I would have thrown her out. Instead I screwed the heck out of her...and those three pictures still make me drool.

Sorry to say I have to modify the above assessment. Just got back a few days ago, and for the first time I did have a problem with a drunk Colombiano in Mayorista. It was a Saturday night about 11pm. The bars were hopping and a lot of the chicos were drunk. I found a few street girls outside this bar and they wanted to go upstairs. I had just arrived, so I wanted to scope the place out first, and get to know these girls before I committed. Only one of the three did I really think was all that hot.

I invited the girls inside the bar for a drink. After promising to buy them a "medium rum" which is a small bottle of the stuff, they agreed to go into the bar and sit down. The girls preceeded me, and I followed. About halfway into this darkened smoky bar the girls pass a drunk Colombiano. He let them pass, then stepped in front of me. He told me I was not welcome there. The guy had a friend with him who tried to reason with him. The friend apologized and told me to go on, but the guy stepped in front of me again and put his hands on my chest. I stopped. Again the friend tried to intervene. After a half a minute of negotiation, the friend told me to go on. I tried a third time and the drunk guy again stopped me. Now I was a bit agitated at this, but I was stone cold sober and not about to get into a fight in the middle of this wacked out bar where I was the only gringo surrounded by about a dozen drunk Colombianos. I merely asked the guy what his problem was with me. He mumbled somethingin Spanish I did not understand.

So I turned, and walked out. I did not know these chicas, did not know if this guy was serious or armed, and felt no need to defend my manhood right there under those circumstances. Maybe another man would have handled it differently...but I left. I walked outside and turned to my left and found a really cute chica I had done on my last trip. I took her into the shortime hotel. By that time one of the bar chicas had caught up with me and told me it was fine...I should return. I said no thanks...and moved on to safer territory.

I wise old boss of mine once said "choose the hill you want to die on." That was not the time or the location where I wanted to end it all. I moved on and had a great session with the next chica.

Always remember when you are down there. This is their country. Frankly I am surprised this is the first and only time I have ever had a drunk local stop me from hanging with their gorgeous babes. I knew it was going to happen. I have gotten the stares before. I am just glad I was not drunk, had my wits, and decided to take the high road.

I have enjoyed reading about your adventures in Colombia and a while back, in Costa Rica. Having spent a lot of time in Costa Rica, I could really relate to your experiences there. You have moved on to include Colombia in your adventures and I have become a Brazil regular with brief trips to other locales (sjo, lim, ctg and one timid trip to mde). Your posts are really forcing me to return to mde and explore with much more gusto! Thanks for sharing your experiences, you are an inspiration. Marley and Blissman: Thanks for the kind words. Blissman, after 17 or 18 trips to Costa Rica over about two years, I just simply tired of the place and longed for something more. A friend talked me into Medellin. I have now gone 7 times in about 9 months. I supposed I run the risk of burnout on medellin...but so far...not close.

This last trip I met a chica that I consider one of the most beautiful I have ever done. She was a non working girl who needed some cash to repay a loan to her mother. The mother had started giving her a hard time and started demanding she get a job. So she did! She worked for me for a few days. I screwed her four times over three days and they were the most sensual, amazing, out of this world sessions I have ever had. This girl was amazing, and she had just turned 18. I am not even going to mention her name, so I can try to protect her from the masses.

After my first day with her, we jumped in a cab and she asked if I wanted to meet her mother. Why not? She took me to the barrio where she lives, and I met her mom, dad, sister and brother. They invited me in for dinner and we hit it off. She then asked her mother if it was OK if she returned to the Mansion with me to spend the night. The mother said fine...spend the whole weekend with him. She asked me to watch over her daughter, which I did with great duty and purpose! Imagine this, she just turned 18, the mother just met me, and she is OK with spending the night with me at the Mansion. I LOVE this country. This kinda stuff just does not happen in most places.

Of course the mother DID get her money back on the loan to sweetness...so I guess that played a part in this. But I have to tell you, gringos are still king down there. I have met mothers many times and have yet to find one who is not thrilled that her little hotties is hanging around spending the night with me. In fact with a few street girls the mothers have offered to joined in! I have not been interested...at least not yet!

Hopefully our paths will cross one day and I can help show you this unbelievable land of enchantment. I am certifiably addicted to Medellin.
