There is a specific bar girl in a club in Monterrey that I've grown quite fond of. It's not necessarily that I've developed any kind of serious emotional feelings for her with respect to affairs of the heart, or that I find that she has more sexual prowess than other bar girls, or that she even turns me on as much as some other bar girls do physically, although she is quite pretty.

She is quite an actress, and quite the consumate professional. I question her sincerity when she acts like I am "special" to her even more than I might question a bar girl with less of a professionally committed demeanor. I fully believe that her interactions with me are part of the act, no doubt. But, she sends me the message that I am somehow more to her than just a regular client. Is it possible we are actually pretty good "friends" after all this time, and that she might actually like me? Maybe so...Well, I like to think so anyway, at least to the extent that she does not particularly categorize me along with all the other hords of hombres she encounters. I hope that is the case, but I am probably most certainly romantically dilussional.

I have developed a strong fondness for her personality and mannerisms. I thoroughly enjoy her company. I find her personality to be uniquely upbeat, happy, and friendly compared to many a bar girl that's been at that kind of work for as long as she has.

She is so consistently upbeat and happy, joking around all the time, having fun, being charming, etc...that I've concluded she is probably some kind of a nutcase, being able to continually be "ON" her game that consistently day-in and day-out is really extraordinary. I probably would not want to be around her during her "down" times. But, even when I have bar fined her, she is able to maintain her upbeat attitude for hours at a time with me, not even showing any hint of an alter ego or a discernable deception of personality.

Afterall, the life of a bar girl is not an easy life to endure. Day-in and Day-out, eduring the seemingly endless hords of guys wanting "one thing," the obnoxiously loud music, the late hours, the seedy shitty working environment, the excessive drinking, and on, and on, and on. Anyway, I find her ability to remain consistently charming to be quite baffling. And, it's not just me. She is very, very popular amoung her other clientelle.

So, she seems very unique to me compared to most other bar girls. In a nutshell, I LIKE HER A LOT, and for reasons that are not typical for most guys visiting the clubs of Monterrey.

Anyway, there is a particularly amusing thing she does in the privados that I really enjoy. I know this is going to sound crazy, but the thing that I like is NOT sexual or romantic in nature. It is strictly something I appreciate in this girl's personality and demeanor.

When the girls are done giving you a private dance, they ask you if you want to leave now, or if you would like another dance. If you say yes to them giving you another dance, they will call out to the guy collecting the money at the entrance to the privados by yelling their names and the word "Otro" (Another).

Anyway, this particular girl has such as melodious way of calling out her name and the word "Otro." I can't really explain why it impresses me so much, other than to say that she is so much different in the way she delivers that line, that I long to hear it when I've been away from Monterrey for a while. It is like her signature song.

I actually miss hearing it when I am not around her. It is like a "emotional marker" for Monterrey with me, LOL!!! So, when I am away from Monterrey, I sometimes imagine her singing out, "XXXXXXX, Otro" in the privados.

It has the same kind of effect on me as listening to some of the songs you routinely hear in the clubs in Monterrey, which I sometimes do while back home in the waste land to relive my better moments in Monterrey. Songs like Zombie, Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, La Planta, Coldplay, etc...Most of this shit I never listen to at home, but after having been corrupted in Monterrey, I find myself longing to hear it again, just as a reminder, a way of easing the pain of what I am currently missing when back in the wasteland.

Anway, last time I was in Monterrey, I got the brilliant idea of recording my favorita as she sings out her name and the word Otro, and to preserve it for my listening pleasure, just as I have my cache of "Monterrey Songs" to comfort me when I am back home in the wasteland.

So, it occurred to me that I could use my portable MP3 player to do this, which is a relatively small device, about 2.5" square. I also have a pair of folding headphones, which I decided to smuggle into the club so she could hear the result of my recording this foolishness.

I was concerned that I would not be able to smuggle the headphones into the club past the guards at the door. They are sometimes quite difficult to deal with depending on what you're trying to put past them. I know they are sometimes a problem when I try to sneak my pocket rocket into the club.

So, I was surprised when they waived me on through that night, not even frisking me. I am apparently now an official "trustee." I have apparently graduated in status because I've noticed that lately they do not even stop me at the door, frisk me, or anything...they just waive me on through. THOSE FOOLS!!!! they think I am just a harmless Crazy Gringo, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, on the night in question, I found my girlfriend with the melodious tones, and took her up to the privados. I usually store my MP3 player and headphones in a air tight container so I can carry it onto airplanes self contained, everything in one protected case. It's the same Rubbermaid type of container I use when I bring cookies to Monterrey.

Immediately, when she saw my telltale airtight container, and obviously thinking I was bringing her one of my homemade treats, she blurted out, "ah, galletas" (cookies). I said, "noooo, not galletas...MP-trace." She looked quizically at me, as much to say, "WTF???, Crazy Gringo"

I showed her the MP3 player, and told her to go into the "Otro" routine so I could record it. She was actually quite committed to the whole idea, laughing about it, and just having a blast with the whole prospect that some crazy Gringo would even want to do such a thing. She wanted to practice a couple of times, telling the guy at the entrance to the privados to ignore her calls out, etc... And, it did take several "takes" to get it on the MP3 player just right.

Fortunately for me, I was able to get the recording after only one privado. I think I must be nuts to spend 50 pesos for this kind of foolishness, but it is comforting to have it available for a little emotional therapy when I'm not in Monterrey and feeling the effects of my unwanted exile.

I explained to her that I needed her "Otro Routine" so that I could ease my melancholy feelings back home when I missed seeing her. She listened to the recording after we got back downstairs, and was laughing hysterically at it. I guess my folly was quite a distraction for her. Anything to break the monotony of a routine night in the bars of Monterrey.

She's probably got this picture in her mind of you relaxing around your place on a Saturday night, dressed up in your finest lingerie, whacking off while you're listening to her say "Otro"!

Just kidding -- nice story. There are some people out there that are always upbeat, like just manic, instead of manic depressive. Maybe she's one of the lucky few.

UnspongeBob,
call me crazy if you must, but these paragraphs where you explain your feelings for a working chica mirror my sentiments exactly.

I am going through the same type of relationship with someone in TJ where, after reading your TR, puts everything in perspective about how I feel for the chica I'm seeing on a regular basis. And coincidentally enough, she too, is from Monterrey.

This is what prompted me to read your post. I was looking for the type of environment there, since I've been hearing so much about that city recently.

Don't be afraid of the feelings you have. Let nature take it's course, and maybe, if you and her are eventually more serious about each other, then something permanent could develop out of this.

Good report. Did you happen to take pictures?

Master Bates.

Masterbates, Monterrey is a completely different scene from any border town or any little "pueblo" in Sonora that you may have visited. In most ways it's better, but if you're looking for extended GFE you better be willing to commit either time OR money. Spongebob is rather foruntate in that he usually has the luxury of BOTH.

Masterbates,

Well, I sometimes fall for the inherent "charms" of certain ones. There are only a few that I would categorize as emotionally nuturing.

Maybe it's their illusion of friendship, their acts of warmth, their playful personalities, etc...or maybe they are academy award winning actresses.

My favoritas fulfill a fantasy for me. They simulataneously satisfy not only my sexual needs, but my romantic/GFE emotional needs as well.

We all want an angel in white, and the daughter of the devil, all rolled into one. In my favoritas, I think I may have found that combination.

Certainly, I get my money's worth sexually from them, but if they only knew just how much more I am getting from them than sex, they would most certainly try to charge me double, LOL!!!

On a good day, that might be true. How 'bout on a bad one?

Anyway,i am at the Best Western on Galeana and Modero Streets. I know the pickins must be thin, but can you recommend any mid priced action (under $60)? Your advice will not be wasted now, since I am in Monterrey as we speak.

By the way, if anyone wants to respond that is cool too.
