Hell, I was overwhelmed. Gastronomically, it was a disaster, but otherwise, a great time. And I learned just how far $6 can go.

This report covers a long weekend in Lima, Peru spanning April 26-May 1, 2006. I have been to Lima many times, and I haven't gotten tired of the seeming endless opportunities for P4P sex, the great people, the delicious food, and the overall niceness of this country.

I have taken advantage of the numerous sites with ads for outcall (and incall) girls at prices ranging from $30-$50 per hour, the banos turcos/massage parlor opportunities, and picking up free lance girls at both Tequila Rock (a disco frequented by young ladies looking to befriend a male tourist for a few hours) and picking up girls at various sites throughout Miraflores (an upscale, touristy neighborhood). There are also some hi-end gentlemen's clubs with chicas available both on-site and for take out, with total costs ranging from $100-$200 when all is said and done (admission, drinks, salida, and costs for the girl), and your traditional escort agencies. All of this has kept me busy and satisfied, but I knew that there were a plethora of other options available, and I wanted to see what it was that I was missing.

To that end, I made contact with some of the posters on a local message board based in Lima, Perutops. This message board (mostly in Spanish) has a LOT of users, and a whole lot of useful information about the girls, the clubs, hotels… you name it. They have recently added a few English forums, with an eye to helping the international monger who might be interested in Lima as a P4P vacation destination. I posted a couple of my trip reports there to establish my bona fides, and that gave me credibility in the eyes of the local guys there, and they were willing to spend the better part of two days showing me more than I would have discovered on my own in ten more visits. If I forget to do it later, I want to thank those guys. They were great hosts, and I could never return the hospitality you showed during my visit.

One downside of my whirlwind tour was that I was quite often overwhelmed. I tried to do my best, but I didn't always get all of the pricing or directional information I would have liked to. I took my GPS with me, so you can always find the joints that way, if all else fails.

Aside from that, I always enjoy my meals in Lima, try to have fun at the blackjack tables, and I spent some time with this civilian waitress that I met a few trips back. Quite a hefty itinerary for just four days, but I do what I can.

My base of operations this trip was the Residencial Las Americas hotel. I have enjoyed success previously by renting an apartment in town, but this trip was only four nights, and I scored a very good rate for the room.

Most everything in Peru is priced in Soles, which trade at about 3.3 to the dollar. The only exception seems to be the casinos, where the US Dollar is the only currency of choice at the tables. Some of the girls in the Pizza Alley area ask for dollars as well. Other than that, if I quote prices in dollars, they were probably originally in Soles, and I just did the conversion.
