I decided to call my trip the “Remember to save some Dick for later” tour. I’ve been a member on this board for a few years now and I’ve never seen a monger address this issue before. For the first time in about 6 years, I am in a serious relationship. Normally, I have a couple of girls that I date, that I sleep with 1 or 2 times a week (more of a booty call thing, none of them have attained the girlfriend title). About 4 months ago, I started dating a gorgeous woman and it has gotten to the girlfriend/boyfriend stage, we sleep at each other places, about 5 nights week.

Most times when I return from Brazil, I am normally so “fucked out” that I don’t even want to think about having sex for a week or so. Banging 3 girls a day and getting by on 3 hours sleep a night for 12 days at a time, really drains the shit out of me. On my plane ride back to NYC, it dawned on me that I now have a girlfriend at home who is waiting for me, not only would I be expected to perform that night, but I would have to act as if I haven’t been laid in two weeks. (In other words, horny as hell!!)

Sure enough, soon as I got home from work, she was waiting in my apartment with dinner, soft music, candles, the works. She was smiling in anticipation that I would be banging her multiple times that night, when all I really wanted to do, was take a hot shower and go to sleep by 8pm. Luckily, I still had a ¼ Cialis pill in my luggage, so I popped it and proceeded to do my best. 50 minutes later and after she had 2 orgasms, I told her that I had major jet lag and begged off anymore activities for the night. This girlfriend thing is putting a major damper on my Rio trips; I have to realize that I can’t "go all out" anymore in Rio and that I have to save some for when I get back to the states.

1) Camilla in the house – I saw the infamous “Black Widow” in help on my first night in Rio, I am assuming she was with her husband (Mid 30s, blond guy). They were dancing on the floor to some hip hop, well, she was dancing, he was a little rhythmly challenged, but he had a gorgeous woman on his arm, so thats all that really matters. She looked great, hard to imagine that she had a kid, because her body looked incredible. I will always regret not getting with her when I used to see her at Meia Pataca back in 99-2000.

2) Barra Tijuca rocks! – I spent a lot of time doing “regular” activities on this trip instead of hanging in Copa all day. I absolutely love Barra, great clubs and places to eat!! I got so many phone numbers from hot girls, that even I was shocked how succesfull I was! While I was with my regular girl I was getting a lot of looks and stares while we were dancing in the clubs, talk about an ego boost. I would love to rent an apartment and stay there for a couple of months instead of Copa.

3) Recreio rules – My girl took me to Recreio for a couple of days, absolutely incredible getaway. Miles and miles of beautiful deserted beaches and nice little restaurants to eat at. I was thrilled with the city and I would go back in a heartbeat. If you don't feel like traveling all the way out to Buzios, Recreio is a great substitute.


4) Slow season in effect - Couldn’t believe how slow Copa was, almost no tourists in town at all. From now on, this is when I will travel to Rio, no more major US holidays for me. The girls were starving for Reais! I doubt if there were more than 8 brothas in all of Help on any given night! Fellow CH member, Dino and I were cracking up one night at the lack of tourists in the disco. Girls who were snobby as hell in the past and wouldn’t barely speak, were now running up to me, begging to go home for 150-200R for all night.

5) Centaraus booty in help – On 3 separate nights, I had Centaraus girls from Help. Each one only asked for 200r for all night. They were like “It’s slow, there is nobody in here! Can I go home with you?” I told 2 of them “Oh Hell No! You work at Centaraus, which means you will want 600R for 1 hour!” All 3 were like “No, no, no! Just give me 200R, I am not expensive, I just don’t want to pay 30 reais to get in and pay for parking/gas for my car and make no money tonight”. (Did I mention that I love the slow season:-)

6) Where the hell is the sun? - Biggest down side of the slow season is the weather. It fucking rained every single day of my trip, I didn’t hit the beach at all. I really can’t complain, I would rather spend a rainy day in Rio,than a sunny day in NYC. Mid 60s at night, girls were bitching up a storm about it being sooooo cold. I was laughing when I consider all the guys who want to marry these girls and bring them back to the states (Chicago for instance) If she can‘t handle 65 degrees, how the hell will she be able to deal with a Chicago winter?

7) Karla Models – I had every intention of ordering KM girls every single day, but it didn’t work out that way. Every time I called, the girls I wanted were already booked. I did try Marcela Prado, Lorraine, Julia and Keimy Lee. Marcela isn’t the prettiest girl, but she has a great body and her sex skills are fantastic. Not sure when they took Lorraine pics, but she has put on about 20 pounds since they were taken. She is a cutie and she had a great attitude. I was anxious to try Julia because all the Brazilians on the hotside forum rave about her oral skills; she lived up to the hype. Keimy Lee was wild and crazy, much skinnier than I normally try, but she was a lot of fun. I was worried that my neighbors would call the police on me because this girl was SCREAMING at the top of her lungs for me to “FUCK MY ASS HARDER!!! FUCK MEEEEE!!!!”

Unfortunately, 2 things kind of made me a little upset with the agency on this trip. The girls now request 50R for the taxi ride to Copa and I had to remind a couple of them that just because I came at the 1:15 mark, that doesn’t mean they were free to get dressed and leave, they still had 45 minutes on the clock. One girl was already calling the agency to tell them that she was getting ready to leave and to check and see if she had any appointments in Copa.

8) Bingo isn’t so bad - I had a girl who begged and begged for me to go to Bingo with her and her friends. I really didn’t want to go because I viewed it as an activity that people in their 70s do, but I relented and went with her. I actually had a nice time and I enjoyed myself, didn’t win anything, but it was fun.

9) Truly all night session – I was in MP one night talking to a rookie, he had a really cute Manaus girl on his arm, that he was planning to take back to the hotel. When he got up to leave, I asked him “You going to be in Help later dude?” He looked at his girl and said “Nah, I think I will just stay with her all night” (It was 8pm) I saw him the next day around 2pm and he told me that’ she had just left, he said he fucked her 3Xs that night and once in the morning before she left. I realized that he had stumbled on to something, instead of going to Help at midnight and taking a girl out at 3AM, getting laid once and then drifting off to sleep. It made more sense to skip help all together and get multiple rounds for the same 200R.

10) Our Idols would kick your Idol’s butts - I know this off on a tangent, but their Brazilian Idols contestants suck. Our top 5 American Idols would crush them in singing!! OK, back to the tits and ass

11) Trust no one – This was the first trip that I have ever made to Brasil, where I was just as afraid of being robbed by the police as I was by the banditos. I had a number of guys who emailed me before my trip, to warn me that I better walk around with my passport because police were deliberately targeting and robbing brothas. They have been snatching up brothas walking down the street, standing in line in front of help, even sitting on the beach and asking them for their documents.

One night I had a scary encounter of my own. I walked a young lady to the corner at 4AM in order to hail a cab for her, when I closed the door to the cab, I looked up and saw about 30 feet away, two officers walking in my direction. I immediately high tailed it around the corner and speed walked to my apartment, they came around the corner very quickly, it was obvious they had intended on stopping me on my deserted street. I was pressing the button to my gate like a mad man, in order to get the portero off his ass! When the cops got to about 20 feet away, one of them said something to me, but luckily, the potero buzzed me in at that exact moment. I opened the gate and slammed it shut and shot up the stairs. As I was turning into the hallway towards the elevator, I heard the cop yell something out to me, but I pretended like I didn’t notice him and I jumped into the elevator. Whew, talk about a close call! I had left my passport on my table because I figured “I am only going to the corner, I won’t need it”.


12) Who are you again? - I went to a number of regular clubs on this trip and I had a funny encounter in Club Six one night. I was dancing to hip hop with my friend when I noticed this guy standing behind me, he was staring at me intently the whole time. I just blew it off and kept having fun (I figured he was just another Brazilian who was mad that I had the prettiest girl in the club, on my arm) A few minutes later, he tapped me on my shoulder and asked me my name, he said “Your American right?” When I asked him why he wanted to know, he said “Because, you don’t dance like a Brazilian, you dance like a gringo”.

I started laughing and told him that I was from New York, when I explained that I was from the birth place of rap music (The Bronx) we started having a 10 minute conversation about music. While we were talking, about 2 dozen people came up to him to shake his hand. I asked him “Who are you? Are you the owner?” He started laughing and was like “You don’t know who I am?” I pointed to my Yankees hat and said “I am a gringo! Remember?” One of the DJs who spoke perfect English came down from the booth and told me this guy “was one of the biggest Baile Funk stars in all of Brasil. His name is Mr Catra”. This guy then got up on stage and brought the house down, these kids went crazy while he was up there.

After his set, he came back down and asked me if I liked his show, he then invited me to go see him perform the next night, in Rocina! When he saw the worried look on my face, he grabbed my shoulder and said “You still don’t know who I am do you? I am Mr Catra, I can walk into any favela in Brasil without a problem!! If you go with me, you have nothing to fear!!” We exchanged cell numbers and I promised to call him the next day. I thought about it and decided against going, just didn’t feel safe. This is the second time in 2 trips that I have been invited to a favela to attend a baile funk party, I might actually attend one day.

All in all it was a fantastic trip and I really enjoyed myself. Hopefully, on my next trip, I will get another chance to explore other locations and I just might call a few of these regular girls that I've been meeting.

This girlfriend thing is putting a major damper on my Rio trips.. LOL, but I bet you'll manage.

Thanks for another excellent update on the scene. Major bummer about the cops, I hope they stop that shit soon. Brasil is kind of a racist society, and it isn't pretty.

You really should have taken the guy up on the opportunity to go into Rocinha. The baile funks are one of the safest places to be in most favelas, as the comandantes have made it clear they don't want trouble at these events. You'd have a great time. I've been in Rocinha, and while I got lots of stares and curious questions (I'm the whitest guy in America), everyone was cool and the folks I talked with made me feel welcome.

I always wanted to go to Rio. I began working my way down south by finding and loving Costa Rica. After I got tired there I moved further south to Medellin. After hearing these stories of crime and corrupt cops I am having a hard time talking myself into a Rio trip.

On my last trip to Medellin I ran into a guy who just got back from Rio who had been robbed three times in 2 weeks. One time he had to burn the guy with a cigarette to get away. He told me it was getting so bad he did not want to go back, and knew of a number of friends there who felt the same way.

Medellin is dangerous too, but after 7 trips I have never been robbed or threatened. I have been stopped by the cops numerous times and I don't carry a passport. I just show them my Drivers License. One time they did not even ask for that, just looked through my fanny pack. One time the cops guarded me all night because I was in a dangerous area and they did not want me to have a problem.

So I am asking myself. Why go to Rio. Maybe somebody who has been both places can answer me.

Most of the young people really love HipHop and they try to emulate us, they try to copy our music, clothes, style and even dancing. (Watch the girls at Help, when a Beyonce song comes on).

Over the years, I had plenty of encounters from Brasilian men and women, when they learn that I am from NYC, they want to hang out. Ive gotten that reaction from people all over the world, they immediately light up when you tell them you are from NY and they start asking all types of questions. I did the same thing, when I met a guy from Hawaii, I completely freaked out. "Your from Hawaii? WOW! Whats it like? Does it really look like Fantasy Island? Are the women as beautifull as we see on TV?" ect....

That night, I exchanged numbers with the DJ and the promoter too, they both wanted me to come out to parties that they were having that weekend. (I think its a novelty thing to have an American there)

Taboojw, your in great hands with BS, he can provide you with a hell of alot more info than I can. One thing I would suggest, get and official copy of your passport created the moment you arrive. Carry that copy with you, EVERY single time you leave the apartment (You saw what happened to me when I left it at 4AM) Put the copy by your keys, so every time you leave, you automatically place it in your pocket.

As far as the police are concerned, just keep your eyes open! Try not to stop and talk to strangers on the street, especially the "My Friend! My Friend" guys.

This is a setup that happened to a guy I know, last month in Rio. He was leaving from Help and this girl walked by, tried to shake his hand, and dropped a bag of drugs in front of him. The police ran over to him and told him they were going to arrest him for drug possession. He was scared shitless and told them he would pay in order to get out of trouble. They wanted to take him to the ATM, but, he told them he didnt have a card. So they took him to his apt, told him to open his safe. When he opened the safe they told him to stand back, then they took all his money and his digital camera too.

Have you tried telling your lady that your getting in a day later then you actually do? It will give you one day of peace and quite. A travel buddy did this on a trip a wile ago. his trick was to call his GF the morning after he got in and tell her that he was missing her so much that he came in a day early, but the plane arrived late. like 2am and spoiled his surprise a little lie does wonders to cover a bigger one. Nice report, cant wait fore my first trip to Rio BTW do you know if August is high or low season?

Your right, I was going to thru some financial hardships, which made Rio a tough trip destination. I had to make some major changes to my mongering behavior. I couldnt afford to fuck 5 girls a day in the termas and Help, so I decided to get a roster of girls who didnt cost me anything except small presents and my time. (I know, I know. There will be a bunch of guys who will say "There is no such thing as Free Pussy!")

But I am very lucky in that I know a few girls (Both professional and regular girls) who really dont charge me any money per se, just the cost of movies and dinner/club entrances. If it wasnt for them, I wouldnt be able to go to Brasil as often as I do.

Interesting, I´ve never had any problems with the policia, yet I´ve never had any encounters with them either, though I´m very aware of their corruption. In fact, what may surprise some, is that they´re some of the biggest pimps you´ll ever see.

Also, the ``shake hands, oops you got drugs move.´´ Be very careful of that because they seem to target brothas on that one. Don´t shake hands with any dubious looking individuals especially while police are around. Fucked up this is. The police in the states hate us, and now Brazil. We gotta get some love in here.

By the way, I hung out with Fernanda last night, and she´s as beautiful and radiant as ever (though still a bit chunky). And we had a hot, sexy, blast! Will post pics later.

I was in Rio in May.
During taxi rides back from Help to Ipanama, I was stopped two times by the police.
I was with girls from Help both nights.
The first time I was stopped, there were four policemen. One of the young cops spoke English and told me they were looking for drugs. I told him I was retired military and never used drugs in my life. For some reason, he liked that I had been in the US military and us both being Black started a conversation. He told me that some Americans were trafficing and using drugs in Rio. The inference seemed to be the cops thought brothers were the primary ones trafficing drugs.

I have been visiting Rio and Help for 4 years. Some of the girls I associate with in Help told me they noticed more brothers have been trafficing drugs.

Because of this, I decided to take a break from the Rio and Help scene. I spent a week with this one girl I met in Brasilia.

Or just take Barao de Torre instead of Prudente de Morais and avoid the roadblock area altogether.

Anyone American stupid enough to be using or trafficing drugs in Brasil, deserves what will happen to them. I am more concerned about the law abiding tourists, who face getting ripped off by the police.

I always love when they say Americans are using and trafficking drugs. Yeah, the 500 favela traficantes and their gangs are there just to service the couple hundred Americans who show up in Rio each day.

How long could a gringo traffic in drugs without getting killed off by the local dealers? Unless of course he was getting the drugs from the gangs and selling them to other gringos, providing a necessary service rather than competition.

I got stopped by a cop outside of Luomo one night. He started taking shit out of my pockets. I protested. He said, "I'm a cop." I told him I'd heard most cops in Rio were dishonest. He kept pulling shit out of my pockets and would show it to me, then lay it on the hood of a car.

I asked, "Why are you doing this?" He pointed to the hill and said, "You see that? That's a favela. They sell drugs there." I said, "Do I look like I would be buying drugs in a fucking favela at 2AM?!?!?!"

He gave me all my shit back. He was honest--if stupid.

Don told me I should have pointed at Luomo and said, "You see that? That's a putaria. They sell pussy there, and that's where I was because I CAN AFFORD IT!"

One night in December Don started yelling at a bus full of favela assholes on Atlantica in front of Alcazar. He said if a fight broke out, he would take the first guy but would need our help with the rest........

Fernanda told me that she and Simone were in an apartment with some dude who was using a bunch of coke, and he said he wasn't going to pay them unless they used the coke with him. They called the police, and to make a long story short, she said the dude grudgingly aquiesced.

By the way, she told me she and the German dude would argue a lot, but he never hit her. I asked her on more than one occasion, and each time she said no as if, "why would anyone think something like that." I believed her. It's difficult to fake that kind of history.

Most women who are in abusive relationships, do not like to admit that their man beats their ass, its not something they are necesarrily proud of.

Yes, but I've known her for a long time. She was very honest with me about an unfortunate situation with her baby. Also, most women in those kinds of relationships seem to show it on their faces. Her face is open, vibrant and alive. She's the same Fernanda I met 3 years ago, but a tad more professional, and much hotter.

Having said all that, I could still be wrong. One thing's for sure, the ass-whippings couldn't have been that bad. Her face is unmarked, and as beautiful as ever.
