Day 1
Arrived in Medellin about 8pm last night.
As I walk out of the airport, Olga is there to greet me.
She looks a little rough around the edges from the last time I saw her, but she still has a rockin' hardbody that rivals most 20 year olds (she's 38).
We hop into her friends car and she takes me to the Mansion.
This time around, I opt for room 5 with the hot tub and larger bed. The road noise is a little more audible but the room is dark so I can sleep.
As most of you know, Olga shows up at the house and gives a few massages to guys, she doesn't always give full service but will offer. Often guys don't take her up on it because she is older than most of the girls that frequent the Mansion.
Last time I was in town, we spent some time together. Towards the end of my trip, she didn't even charge me.
This time was no different. She knew I was coming so she made arrangements to stay the night. Full service (and I do mean FULL) for a few hours. We woke up at about 8am and had a quickie before she had to go to work.
Apparently she now works at the Intercontinental Hotel as a masseuse (legit) and only comes to the Mansion for a little extra money here and there.
I told her I would be busy during the day looking at apartments to buy, but she could come back later tonight.
I'll need to practice leche management if I want to go to Loutron and other places during the day.
I meet with my Realtor tomorrow.
By Sniper on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 08:17 am: Edit |
I should add that I am using my laptop on the Mansion's wireless network, using my Skype-phone talking with my office, and everything works great.
I actually have my office automatically forward calls to me on my Skype-phone so my customers don't even know I'm gone.
Love it!

Your Skype phone? I am trying to set up my phone for unlocking as speak. What is a skype phone? THat is exactly what I need to do. I will be there next week (Friday the 30th for a week) at the Castillo and would love to have a phone to have my calls forwarded to. That is my only anxiety at this point.
Thanks for the trip reports. They are motivting to say the least.

Actually I googeld it. Pretty interesting stuff here. This could be a no brainer.

Longo,
Just to to Skype.com and download their software. You can call other Skype users for free anywhere in the world. PC to PC.
When calling land lines or cell phones, you only have to pay local charges; usually pennies per minute. You can pick up a headset at any electronics store like Best Buy, or order an actual phone from Skype that plugs into your USB port.
By Tequila on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 12:32 pm: Edit |
I first used the headset but I found that the microphone on the laptop works just as well. there may be a slight difference but I can not hear it. So now I do not even take the headset with me, just the laptop and use Skype extensively.

I have the handheld, I paid about $50. The problem you are going to run into is that at the slow connection speeds in the Mansion, your quality will be really low.
When I wrote the original report, it was early and the connection was great. Now its slow so my calls to the office are really bad.
Anyway, I looked around Poblado for properties. There a lot of places to see. My appointment with the realtor is tomorrow (he flaked for today).
So I used my extra time off to go to the Blue Room.
Now this is a good value. They had the lineup like Loutron and the others with about 15 girls. I'd say there were two solid 8's and lots of 7's. Nothing below a 6.
I picked a 7 named Leticia. She was really good, I popped twice in 1 hour for $76,000 pesos including one drink. This is half of the Loutron price and the quality is pretty good. Not crowded and cheap, two good traits.
I will be going to Mangos tonight, I will finish my report for the day this evening.
By Cubanut on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 06:09 pm: Edit |
Sniper,
I'm curious about the Blue Room. I only found one girl there out of three trips that was not large boned or overweight. I was truly amazed as to where they found these heavier than usual Paisas.
Maybe they finally figured out that that body style was pleasing the clientele.
Try Energy or Abydos if you haven't already and definately New Life. Now New Life is a real bargain $30,000 for 30 minutes, $40,000 for 45 minutes and $50,000 for an hour.
Last month I enjoyed Erica for an hour and was very satisfied with her service.

Enjoy,

By Sniper on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 06:29 pm: Edit |
Blue Room didn't really have any reputation, good or bad from what I know.
I liked it today, I understand the same guy owns Energy as well.
Anyway, I came back from the Blue Room and Olga wasn't here. I went to eat with my friends and she wasn't here when I came back.
I hope I didn't piss her off by not being here when I was expected. I asked Lina to tell her to stick around if she saw her, but I didn't hear a thing.
We'll see tomorrow.
Anyway we're headed off to Mangos in a few hours.
Cubanut, I will try New Life tomorrow or if Mangos sucks, tonight!

I just got Vonage, so I am trying it out. Have you used Vonage, and if so, how does it compare to Skype? Thanks, AZ
By Wallstreet on Thursday, June 22, 2006 - 10:08 pm: Edit |
I've got Vonage and Skype, but couldn't get Vonage to work with my router on the last trip. Going back down tomorrow, armed with a new router with designated phone ports meant for Vonage, as well as a Skype phone. One of them has to work.
As far as internet speed goes, they sell service based on speed, like 128kbs, 256kbs, etc.. My current service isn't as fast as DSL, so I've just upgraded to the fastest they have - equivalent of a T-1 line. Not cheap, 400,000 a month. But you get what you pay for.
By Sniper on Friday, June 23, 2006 - 12:12 am: Edit |
Honestly, when I move down here I will spend the money for a T1. I absolutely can run my business part time from here if I had good phones and internet. I'm a little pissed that Skype really pushes that they are a low bandwidth solution. It sucks.
Anyway, back to mongering.
A group of us went to Mangos tonight. It wasn't as good as last time. Seemed to be more couples this time. I proceeded to get trashed and was a little frustrated that none of the Mansion girls showed at Mangos to meet us. So we went to Orientale (whatever).
I actually liked the women at this place but the place is dirty as hell. I just don't think I can pay $210K to fuck on dirty sheets. Even drunk, I passed.
We then headed over to a club called Circus. A small version of Mangos. Fun, good looking girls, and not far from the Mansion. We stayed there for an hour, no Leche spent tonight.
Maybe tomorrow.
By Wallstreet on Friday, June 23, 2006 - 12:42 am: Edit |
I never screw outside of my apartment. That has as much to do with sanitary reasons as it does my comfort level - the home-field advantage if you will.
If you like the girls at Orientale, why wouldn't you take one or more off premises?

Im looking for a laptop that will work anywhere in the world. I need one to send photos to an online account I will set up with one of the photo storage sites. I do not want Homeland Security showing up at my door again (That Sucked) They tore my stuff apart at LAX customs when they saw my photos when I came back from Medellin in May. Then two weeks later they showed up at my front door. The boneheads thought Karem a girl from Medellin was underage, she wasn't I checked her cedula and so did Greg when he saw her at the Mansion. Maybe next time i'll take a picture of the girls cedula for them!!
Anyway I want to avoid all the hassel and was wondering what laptop would be good for my purposes. I know that it has to have WIFI or Mobile Tech. but I really don't know that much about it.
Any help would be appreciative
Scooby
P.S. Karem rocked my world for 150.000 "todos noches" so I had to have her again. Two nights later I invited her out to dinner with Robert his GF and about 6 other mongers. Afterwards we went and picked up Karem's GF Isabell & I had a dupla that was out of this world.

Any modern laptop should work anywhere in the world. I've thought about uploading my pics to my Pbase account which is a photo storage and viewing site. The problem is that I take so many pics and the files are so large that it would take forever.
One easy solution is to change the extension on all your jpgs. In the initial cursory search of your laptop, they simply do a search for all files ending in jpg. I watched them do it on my laptop when I returned from Costa Rica.
They only start searching harder if they find something suspicious.

Sniper Says: "She was really good, I popped twice in 1 hour for $76,000 pesos including one drink."
When a girl is so good you want to pop her twice...she must be good. But I have to say to practice proper Leche management I never pop twice in one session. I always save a little for the next girl. I notice later on you had run dry. None of my business...but I suggest resisting the urge to pop her twice if you are in a place like Medellin where the babes are running fast and furious. In fact I usually play "catch and release" with the street girls. They are so cheap that if I get one upstairs and she has not rocked my world...I pack it in...pay her...and move on. She still counts in the radioman chica count...but I save the leche for a more deserving participant.
Just me.
Just got back from my 9th trip. On my final night, Erika and I showed up at Mayorista...to pick up a chica. I am starting to figure out the Erika likes chicas...although she adamantly denies she is a les. We find a smokin hot babe named Johanna. Erika is in lust...so we sit down and have a beer. Erika is making eyes at me like THIS is the one. We invite her back to the mansion..she says yes and Erika is thrilled. On the way over they talk me into taking them dancing at a club called Monterrey. At least it is in the top floor of the big Monterrey building. We dance like fools and the girls are getting nasty together.
Back in the Mansion Erika turns shy and says she will let me screw Johanna alone. Don't get me wrong, Johanna is good. But she is NOTHING like Erika. Halfway through I make a decision that worked out for the best. I decided to not finish and see if I could get Erika for round two. I knew if I finished I would have nothing left for Erika. So I did what any good monger would do...I faked the finish. I don't think Johanna bought it.
We went down and I found Erika at the pool at the mansion. She asked what was wrong and I said nothing, I just wanted round two with her. She said "Vamos!" and we went up to the room.
Erika was obviously jealous of the other chica, but had no problem with the fact that I did her. She did proceed to make me completely forget about Johanna. She was literally on fire. I have never had a girl fuck me like Erika did. She kept saying "am I better than the other chica?" I kept repeating "si si mucho." At one point she jumped down onto my legs and went down on me and this time was not that careful about her teeth on my dick. Normally that is a turn off...but this girl was literally eating me alive. Yes it was painful...but the way she did it was a major turnon. She finally moved up and got on for the ride. After a while I turned her over into doggie, and then mish. In mish she kept saying "duro duro duro" Harder Harder. I pounded her harder than I have ever pounded any chica in my life. I finally gave her the well deserved reward. Thank God I still had some leche left.
Just as I finished I heard a quiet knock on the door. Johanna had been outside the door the whole time. She came in and jumped onto the bed and Erika was still turned on like fire. Erika went down on Johanna and ate her like no tomorrow. Johanna started screaming as she came. Erika then moved up and made out with her while I fingered her pussy to a shuddering climax. I have never had two chicas do this before. It was the most mind-blowing sex of my many trips to Medellin.
Sorry for the long story about how I save the best "leche" for last. We finally finished at 4am and I put Johanna in a cab. I had hoped that the yelling and screaming did not wake Greg up in the room next door. Next day he told me he slept right through it.

Actually Olga is milking me dry. She keeps me occupied pretty much the entire night.
A bunch of us went to a club called Babylon in the San Diego area. We had a great time, tons of good looking non-pros and I think a little easier to catch a local because the prices are not as expensive so you don't have these chicas that are used to drug dealer boyfriends with a lot of money paying for them.
I think the quality of girl at Mangos is better but the accessibility of them is better at Babylon. It didn't really matter to me, Olga was there and therefore I was occupied.
I'll tell you, if she would take a few years off of her face, I'd marry her! She rocks in bed. It is a true GFE.
Anyway
Day 3
Continued to look for apartments, just in case I see something better than the loft I saw yesterday. I'm going to be back in California on Tuesday morning to wire in an offer on the property.
If some of you have been following my posts, my goal is to stop working in 5 years or less, I actually could stop now but I think having more money will allow me to not have to pinch pennies in retirement. I'm 40 years old and I intend to live for quite a few more years.
I've looked all over the world and I believe Medellin is where I want to stay.
So to answer Scooby's question, I will probably rent it out to a few select mongerers that I've met or that I have corresponded with over this board, I will try to actually put it on long term rental if I can. I want to minimize wear and tear.
I've been talking with Greg about having them manage if for me while I'm not there. We'll see how it goes.
My hopes are that I will meet many of you when I am living there. We can hang out and I'll show you around. Not for money but for the comradreship.
Anyway, thats down the road.
I'm headed off to this other place near the blue room, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm finding that Loutron is good but there are others just as good at half the price.

Av8tr,
You can hold title in your own name with just a US passport. Prices are cheap. I saw some 2 bed 2 bath places in Niquia near the metro stop for 35 million pesos(around US$14,000). You can get a 2000 sq. ft. house in the Laureles area for about three times the price of the apartment in Niquia. Poblado would be more.
I much prefer the Laureles/Estadio area to Poblado. The ricas in Poblado don't need our pesos.

Scooby and others, the best thing to do with your photos is put them on a thumb drive (available at any computer store), pack it in your checked baggage or even in your carry on, just remember to "cut" the pictures from your laptop not just copy them to the thumb drive, hell you could probably carry a thumb drive through the metal detector. I may try it my next trip to Caracas, I'll let you know.
I don't condone underage girls, but some of them are questionable in photos and In our country today you are guilty until proven innocent.

Scooby,
You can find a good used laptop(Compaq, Dell, HP) and a wireles pmcia card (new) for around $200. I personally prefer Compaq and have bought several (the 1600 series include DVD's) for friends who want a cheaper alternative to the expensive newer models. Look for one that has been upgraded to Windows XP as an operating system, believe me there are always several available.
Now about the pictures. I suggest that instead of a thumb drive that you use a SanDisk SD card (the small ones that most cameras are now using) and get a card reader (which costs less than $10). Theses cards are the size of a postage stamp and not much thicker. The cards come in 128mg, 256mg, 512mg, 1Gig & 2Gig capacity and depending on how many pictures you plan on taking will determine the size you need. My suggestion is go with the 512mg or 1Gig
The reason I like this is because you can download the pictures from your camera with the card reader if it uses the same type of card as well.
Then all you do is download your private pics onto the SD card and carry it with you or stash it some place in your carry on. It doesn't set off the metal detectors either whereas a thumbdrive may.
Cheers,
Cubanut

I did have them on a 1gb SD card. I did not think anything of it because all the pics were of girls 19 or older. My spare SD card was in my camera pouch, They picked me out of everyone on the plane.
When I went to the first customs desk at LAX they looked at my passport took the declaration (Ihad nothing to declare)paper punched some stuff into their computer. Then the guy yelled out to another guy "Hey XXXX this ones for you" He told me to go over to another one that one said "we will wait here for your luggage".
The guy wasn't 10 feet from me the whole hour I had to wait for my luggage. Then when everyone else went through the gate to customs they took me over to a different table and started to go through everything.\
I was suprised they didn't do a cavity search. There was three of them I mean they checked evey pocket, cut open one of the pills in my meds. Checked the lining of my bags went through my carry on . If I had anythig they would have found it. Then when they went through my camera every one of them went through every picture steped aside talked to each other asked me how old every girl was.
They questioned me why I was traveling alone to Colombia. Why Colombia for my vacation,What I did for a living.I expected then to strip me naked put me in a room sitting on a chair in the middle of a darkend room with a light in my eyes. They gave me the third degree it totally sucked.
I never want to go through that crap again.

I guess us gringos better return to the States via Miami. Personally, I've never had the fifth degree in MIA. With the multitude of flights to and fro, its nothing out of the ordinary.
The one time I returned and cleared customs/mig in San Francisco on a Taca flight from Bogota with connections, I was inspected more then usual!

Scooby,
Key problem is that you left the card in your camera. This is the very place not to have girly pics. Get a dummy/smaller card and snap pics of mountains/trees art etc and you would not have as much problem.
I sometimes you have to have balls but once 8 years ago when I absoulutely knew I was clean I was stopped by customs comming into the USA. The customs guy asks what I what was the purpose of my trip and I rtold him I was on vacation and in pursuit of pleasure. When he asked me "what" I did on my vaction I looked at him and said nicely "That is none of your business". He didn't ask again but proceeded to have three agents go through everything I had. I didn't care because I was in no hurry. He did pat search me lightly but had nothing to hold me on and said I could go. Before I left he said he would have gone easier on me if I had just answered his question. I responded and told him that the day I absolutely had to tell an officer what I did on my non-business vacation before entering my own "Free Country" was the day I make plans leave the USA for good.
How many of you think that day is soon approaching?
Cheers,
Cubanut

Sadly I think that, that day is here.
Scooby; I think that you screwed up twice once as Cubanut put's it you left the card in your camera with all of your girl photos on it, and like Sparky said "spot the monger" I don't know how you were dressed but when I fly blue jeans and a T-shirt are NOT what I wear.
Since they took the time to visit you at your house you should expect to be pulled into secondary inspection for at least the next two trips that you make.
This is what the customs agents are thinking that you did, when they belive that you are a monger returning from a trip.
RG.

Well, 20 trips so far THIS YEAR from JFK to Medellin and I haven't been secondaried ONCE from Customs. Immigration is a different story as I lost my previous passport and now have to get my name verified in the "little room" as I call it - a process that takes all of 5 minutes usually. In fact, most of the agents in there know me by name and just laugh when I walk in.
Actually, ask Radioman how fast it is. I was in 1D on the BOG redeye to JFK and Radio was ALL the way back in row 4 (still first class as he's a first class guy) and I was the first to immigration, went to the little room, and made it to the carousel before the bags started coming out. Mine was one of the first off and I was on my merry way.
In fact, in my 40 trips to Colombia, I've only been secondaried ONCE by customs - last November in Newark. The agent was very professional, and the process took about 10 minutes.
And on a side-note: I still can't get Vonage to work, even with a router meant for Vonage, BUT the "TrendNet" phone I brought down with me works GREAT using Skype - even with a 300K line. I went to my ISP office on Saturday to upgrade to 1024k, but the secretary didn't show up so I was out of luck. And as Monday is a holiday, I have to wait for Tuesday. It's not a third-world country for nothing.
Now I have to get back to the two hotties in the living room. They performed a great lesbian show for me yesterday - I might even have some photos. You gotta pace yourself when you're down here a lot.
Life is good.

Back on Topic!!!!
I had a couple of really good times in Blue Room. I like to go in the afternoon, about 2. The lineup is a bit lower than in the evening, but there are usually a couple of really nice ladies there. I like to spend a couple of hours (for the princely sum of about 60,000), learn some Spanish, and possibly engage in some other activity.
P.S. If you are worried about your picture, check out PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) to encrypt your files. Google for PGP, I think it now runs on Windows.

Hi Sniper,
Hope your house hunting is going well. I spent some time looking at apartments and have nearly the same goals as you. I've looked at Venezuela, Panama, Brazil, Costa Rica and Chile. Of these countries I found Medellin to offer best value for money. London prices have become over-whelming and a garage sold recently for £250,000.
I think it's going to be about 2 years till I can move to Medellin. I'm 31 and am looking to retire at 33 if all goes well.
When I tell my family and friends that I want to move to Colombia I get many strange looks etc. What have others experienced when they tell people that they are going to move to Colombia?
I think it's a lovely city, wonderful food and have only experienced very friendly locals. If you had to sum up the 3 main reasons for moving to Medellin above other cities in South America, what would they be?
Keep safe, have fun

Well I just got back. My plane was delayed 15 hours in Medellin. They took almost 6 hours to tell us what was going on. Really sucked!
Anyway, things on the condo purchase front went well. I ended up finding a few places I liked. I have a phone conference with the attorney to start paperwork on the money transfer and the realtor on making an offer. I'll keep everyone posted. I'm spending about $62K on a 115 meter apartment in Poblado. I want nice, this is my retirement afterall.
About Olga, I'm getting in deep. I spent the entire week with her, had a great time going out to dinner and dancing virtually every night. She didn't ask for a dime.
She also gave me a bunch of personal information including her last name and private phone number. I like her, she's not like the others around the Mansion. She's a quality person even if she isn't the best looking.
She did ask me where this was going, which did make me a bit nervous because as many of you know I am in the middle of a seperation/divorce.
I refuse to become the ATM boyfriend, I'm telling you here and now that this won't happen. I don't get the impression it will come down to that.
I do have one funny story to report. I went to the Blue Room for a second time and chose this girl that a friend of mine chose the first time we went. He said she was in the business for less than a month and she was great. She was a dead fish in my opinion. She stood about 4'8" and was probably 80 pounds. I'm 220 and 6'4" and proportioned as such. She didn't look happy!
The guy I went on the second run picked this really nice black girl that he really liked. He made arrangements for her to have dinner with us (he, Olga and I). Another buddy joined us as well.
Guess what happened. She calls my friend and asks if she could bring a friend with her. My friend agreed and she shows up with the dead fish I fucked 3 hours earlier.
Imagine the suprise on my face when I just assured Olga I was a good boy when she wasn't around and this girl shows up.
My friends told me the look on my face was priceless as I pulled out a wad of cash to pay my portion of the bill as I pull Olga with me into a cab and speed away!
Funny as hell.

I didn't go to Face Dos this time, however a few of my friends did and didn't like it. Last time was a bit different, I loved it.
Funny thing this trip, I didn't see any of the usual cast of characters at the Mansion. It seemed that they were all different this time around.
As far as buying a condo, thats tricky to do on your own. I would first get an English speaking Realtor.
There are 2 types of places, new construction and pre-owned. Pre-owned is much cheaper than new construction but you can spread payments over the time of construction but have to pay 100% of the pre-owned price up front.
When you bring in the money for the purchase, you wire it directly to the seller. You should do this through a reputable attorney in Colombia. This will allow you to sell later and take the money out of the country without worrying about penalties and taxes.
The process is long, just make sure you get the professionals you need.

Not sure I have, what is it?
By Radioman on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 - 06:21 pm: Edit |
Wallstreet says: "Actually, ask Radioman how fast it is. I was in 1D on the BOG redeye to JFK and Radio was ALL the way back in row 4 (still first class as he's a first class guy) and I was the first to immigration, went to the little room, and made it to the carousel before the bags started coming out. Mine was one of the first off and I was on my merry way. "
I vouch for that. This is the second time Wallstreet and I have bumped into each other waiting in line at Avianca. Nice to see you mi amigo, and you were fast getting out but with that tiny little bag I was suprised you did not just carry it on. I try to carry on every chance I get...this time they did not let me cause I had two bags.
Question about Skype, because I am thinking of using it on my laptop. If I brought down a laptop with Skype on it, and used a phone with it...would it work at the Mansion on thier wireless internet? Would I need something to hit the wireless?

Skype should work fine on any wireless network as long as the speed is there. I've used it with my laptop at 4 different hotels in Thailand and it always worked. Sometimes I would get a little echoing. It rarely works as good as a regular phone though.

Sniper,
It was great meeting you at the Mansion. I was reading some negative information that was posted on the other board that was very negative about Greg and the Medellin Mansion. All I can say is that I had a great time with you and some of the guys at the mansion and yes the look on your face when theat girl from the Blue Room showed up at the restaurant was priceless. By the way the girl from the Blue Room never charged me a dime for taking her and her girlfriend out to Mangos. I gave her a little gift anyway. I do plan to come back to Medellin and hook up with her because she was absolutely great in bed. Let's keep in contact and good luck on your Five Year Plan.
By Sniper on Thursday, June 29, 2006 - 08:47 am: Edit |
Sly good to meet you as well. PM me your contact email and I'll let you know when I am going back.
Just for clarification, the post about Greg on the other site was posted by someone else. I only post on CH. I like Greg and the Mansion.
About Skype. I actually used Skype at the Mansion. Their internet is too slow if you are using their wireless. Painfully slow. So Skype doesn't work. It only works at 54.0 Mbps or better. I wasn't even getting 36.0 most of the time. If you plugged directly into their network it was a little faster but not enough. I need another solution.
By the way, offer was sent on a property. I'm waiting to hear back.
I'm telling you, I am going through some serious withdrawls from that country.
I went out to a concert last night, at the end of the evening I had the obligatory sex. Frankly, it just didn't compare. The body was thicker, the performance was lackluster, I rolled over and went to sleep afterward.
Fuck

What is it ? A little bit of sex and everybody is moving down there....o.k., in Relapse's case it was alot of sex!
Agreed, Olga is muy sympatico! ...genuinely.
By Sniper on Friday, June 30, 2006 - 08:19 am: Edit |
Stay away! shes mine...mine...all mine!
Actually Scrubb, I've been talking about retiring down in South America for the past few years on CH under this handle and my old handle.
I just love the city, its fairly clean, cheap, and the weather is just fantastic.
The girls are just a bonus.
But if I were to just judge on the girls, I would probably move back to Rio.
Olga performance is common in Termas, not in Medellin.
That being said, I have spent a lot of time cultivating that relationship with Olga. I talk with her regularly when I am in the US and I see her just about everyday when I am in Medellin.
Who knows what will happen when I retire there, I think I am getting to the point where I don't want to bang 5 hookers a day anymore. One really good novia and an occaisional trip to Loutrons or the Blue Room may appeal to me.
There are so many non-pros that are available in Medellin, it almost isn't necessary to bang pros. To me Olga is not a pro anymore. She doesn't charge me and her performance is no longer acting. I see a noticable difference in our first sessions to what we do now. Vastly different.
I'm not sure if I addressed this earlier, but she did confront me with where this was going. She told me she wanted more than just sex. I told her I'm not in a position where I can commit to anything (I'm in the middle of a separation and eventual divorce) but I promised her no matter what happened, we would be friends.
I'll tell you though, I can't stop thinking about her. A little plastic surgery to get rid of some of the aging in the eyes, resurfacing of her skin to take away any wrinkles from the sun and less makeup, I'd probably hang up my spurs.

Hey Sniper,
Agree, it's more fun really enjoying one then trying to screw the whole bunch. Been keeping in touch with one myself.
Nope, never did Olga, we always just shot the shit. She is though a sweet girl!!!
Hey Scrubb, you flattered me, GRACIAS, GRACIAS!!!

I am originally from Medellin, however, I live en southern california. In my humble opinion, Medellin would be a great place to retire to at a young age because everything is so cheap. To be honest I am not in impress at all with the pro's I have seen there, I think that in the long term can find a true trophy wife/girlfriend among all the non-pros out there. It is isn't easy but it can be accomplished. Sniper, I wish you luck in your five year plan. Have you thought about perhaps running your business from Colombia, I think living in Colombia and running a bussiness long distance would be the ideal situationf or me.

Hey Sniper, who did you use for a realtor here? I am here now and would love to look at a bunch of places. But it seems that is pretty loosely organized. Besides dialing numbers on the side of buildings, there is not much else here that is centralized. BTW, that sounds like a great deal for sure!
I am staying at the Hotel Castillo now.
Thanks!

Hey Longo69,
The grocery store at the bottom of Oveado (spelling?) Mall and probably other places has a free phamplet called "Informe Inmobiliario." It list a bunch of apartments, condos new and used.

I'm using a guy named David Baena. Robert and Greg know him.
He's ok, just make sure you go to a wide variety of places. David has a tendency to go to those that are higher priced.
If you are looking new, you are just better off stopping there yourself and negotiating a deal. Then use an attorney to do the purchase. You'll save a lot of money.

I know two Colombians here at home, they tell me that you old gringos may like the pretty chicas there, but it holds no future for young Colombians.
I like Medellin myself. Rio actually scares me...mainly because of the volume of sex. If you are going to win the STD lottery, its going to be there.
By Sniper on Wednesday, July 05, 2006 - 03:03 pm: Edit |
For us, its paradise.
I used to live in Rio. Its ok if you get away from Copacabana. If you live in Baja or other outskirt areas, safety isn't an issue.
Rio is turning into a cesspool, largely in part by this and other boards. If you wear a condom, you shouldn't get anything a quick trip to the doctor wouldn't handle.
I've been doing this for 10 years and never have received anything.
Knock on wood.
The problem with Rio was that locals are a little harder to get to know in the city. That isn't as much of a problem outside the city.
In Medellin, its like shooting fish in a barrel. There isn't any problem with meeting non-pros. It takes a little time to get into their pants, but it will happen if you are patient.

I'm now starting to get daily email or voicemail from Olga.
Our conversation consists of her telling me she misses me and her English is bad.
I need to improve my Spanish skills pronto!
Her English is actually worse than it was when I first met her.
If anyone wants to snap a picture of her for me and email it to me, I would appreciate it.
She's not too computer saavy and doesn't own a digital camera.
