This report was based on my trip in April this year, I am usually an observer but I have read and learned a lot on this site so I thought I should share my experience with everyone also. I've been to Costa Rica many times before I switched to Rio. I too live near Miami and the flight down to Brazil is easy. Work the day, head to the airport and take an overnight flight down there, no time lost as you sleep on the plane. And coming back you again have an overnight flight so there too you can get some sleep.

Costa Rica is great too but the scene is not as high quality. There are not too many escorts around, most girls are freelancers and work out of the Blue Marlin. Girls there will ask for $100 but can be bargained down. The only reputable agency I know of there is G&G. Still there is a lot of daytime action at places like Zona Blue and New fantasy.

If you go to CR around Labor Day there will be a large crowd there, CRT is having another anniversary bash.

Do you speak Spanish too? If not, you may be better off practicing Portugese a bit more.

You should take a look at the Columbia posts. That nation seems to have Costa Rica beat by a long shot.

I have been thinking of a Costa Rica trip to evaluate early retirement because of good and affordable medical care. It also helps that CR is considered fairly safe and the government is stable.

Unfortunately, CR sounds more like a starting point for monger trips to other nations rather than a monger destination.

I've been to Rio and CR once each. I thought Rio was much better than CR. In fact I will never go to CR again. I just got back from Medellin, and found it a great alternative to CR.

My favorite is Thailand though. I use Rio, and Colombia as a change of pace so I don't get burned out on Thailand.

PS, sounds like a good first trip.I personally have been to Rio many times (20+) and went to CR once.IMHO there is no comparision in service.I tried all the venues in San Jose and none came close to Rio quality fucks.Its a cool short and cheaper trip, but dont go there with your new high Brazilian standards, you will be disappointed if you don't lower your expectations.

P.S IMHO, the Brasileiras are more down with the brown than the chicas in CR, if you catch my drift.

Like some of the other been to Brazil many times and CR once which was more than enough for me. I found the chicas mediocre at best. I thought the best looking girls in CR to be the Colombians, but almost all had fake tit (which I dislike), and a very businesslike attitude. The passion doesn't even approach Brasileiras.

Probably because Brasilieros don't fuck MP or Help girls and have higher expectations in termas garotas. If you have a bad session with a termas garota, you should tell management. Been to Rio 4 times and Costa Rica 2 times. Had a much better time in Rio. GFE is a hell of a lot better in Rio. The girls in CR are to mechanical and barely budge on their prices. Don't get me wrong, me and my buddies had a blast in CR. First trip we stayed in SJ, but the 2nd trip we stayed in Jaco Beach. Jaco was much better and we all had some good GFE there. Doesn't seem like a lot of bros no about Jaco. We were the only blacks there for the five days we were there. Not really any day time action unless you make arrangements the night before. But once 9pm comes around, watch out! When we go back to CR, it will always be Jaco beach from now on. We also made friends with a guy that has the nicest condo's in Jaco, right in the middle of all the action. Walking distance to everything. Headed to Lima in October. Does anyone have any recent reports on Lima? Will be our first time there.

Also wanted to say this to you punnanyslayer, as a young bro and a first timer, you definitely want to put CR under your belt as a place to visit. You wont regret it. But make it Jaco Beach for sure. Me and my buddies are in our very early 40's and late 30's and we love to travel the world. Being from Atlanta, CR is just a 3 and a half hour flight. So Jaco makes good for a long weekend release, if you know what I mean.
