This was the second night in LOS and the same day I sent the first girl packing. I also skipped posting a tour report I posted on the Thai boards as I'm new to this one and not sure if non-girl (tourism) posts are desired here.

After a half day touring, We decided to take a look down Soi33. We ended up in Napoleon, which we knew by reputation as being "pricey".

We didn't have a chance to eat yet, so we munched on food from the bar's menu. All I remember was it was good enough, but beyond that I was still puzzling over what happened with the girl from the first day.

I spotted a nice looking lady and it seemed she had spotted me out. I invited her to sit and we got along fine.

After eating we were shooting pool at one of the billiard tables they have there. For the record, I suck. Not just suck but suck so bad the girls think I'm clowning :P

The girl's name is Ben. Yep, Ben. I checked. She's really a girl. Pictures are grainy due to no flash in low light. (i'm getting used to a new camera this trip. sorry)

Actually a really sweet one. Kept the right amount of attention on me all night. Some DFK in the bar, hand holding, teasing, all the good stuff. I finally let her know I'm going to barfine her and ask how much the barfine is.

Napoleon has a reputation well deserved. Barfine was 1,650 Baht. Under normal circumstances I'd be reluctant to pay, but I'd already had a disappointing morning and "All signs point to yes." on this girl. I paid the barfine and was rewarded with an excellent attitude, good skill, and plenty of energy.

After a long day of feeling plugged up, the pipes were clean and I was once again my relaxed Zen self

In the morning I let her go with a decent tip.

Voracious: thanks for the report, I have spent a lot of time on soi 33 my last few trips. My favorite spots being "the office" and "big shots bar", but I have also pulled a couple of girls from Napoleon.

The Mamasan, "Wan" definitely remembers repeat clients and runs a good shop. The girls are fun and know how to perform. On my last couple of trips I just stopped in for drinks during happy hour, but it is a nice place.

Whitty. Maybe you can help answer a question for me. Is that barfine supposed to be tip inclusive or is it just really expensive. I wasn't clear on that at all. As it was I tipped as if it were not inclusive.

It is definitely not tip inclusive, that is the drawback to soi 33, the barfines are usually 1500 baht, although at the office they can be less.

I was last there in July, I haven't barfined anyone at Napoleon this year, they might have raised their rates.

Soi 33 is a great place to go for happy hour. I have met several girls there who I have been able to meet after hours. It is a little less crazier than Nana and Soi Cowboy, so you can get to interview the girls a little bit more before you make any decisions. My first night there I ended up with 4 bartenders after hours and we were at Hollywood (the club, not the Nana gogo) and I ended up with a couple of them back at my hotel at 5 am, since then, I spend time there all the time. In July I brought a couple of pizzas into my favorite bar and ended up spending a lot of time with one of the bartenders during her off time. If you get there early, hit "the office" it is going by 5 pm.

By the way, a fair few girls here go by the name of Ben. If I'm not mistaken it is short for Apple, which is generally pronounced Apben.
