I had planned a trip to Medellin again, but 2 weeks prior to my departure I changed my mind, and decided on a trip to Cartagena instead. With such short notice it was hard to find an apartment but Mery came thru and found me a very nice place in the Torre Centauro building. I had to pay $65 a nite but at least I had a place to stay. It was very nice with wireless internet, and great A/C. Here’s a shot from the plane landing at CTG.



I’ve gotten spoiled on my United First class flights to Thailand so I was pretty uncomfortable on my red eye flight from LAX to Bogota. I got no sleep at all, and was exhausted when I arrived on the beach and met Tony the Saint. LOL. My fatigue is my excuse for grossly overpaying for the girl he had there. She asked for 200K and when I balked she promised me the moon and I was too weak (horny) and exhausted to argue. I thought she had amazing breasts but I found out too late that they were silicone. I’m not a fan of silicone. Here’s a picture of her.

I can see why many would have a problem with Tony, but he really didn’t bother me too much. I just found I had to be firm with him. Also the touts didn’t really bother me much either. From many previous reports, I was expecting things to be much worse. The weather too wasn’t that bad. No worse than Thailand, although I understand it gets hotter in July and August. If it was any worse I would have been miserable. Here a few tourist pics.





The one area I really hated was La Dolca Vita. I was expecting some attitude there, but it was much worse that I expected. I would have given up completely except that I had a pretty good experience my first nite. That was the last time though. After that I was quoted very hi prices, and was told to forget about pictures. As you can imagine, pictures are very important to me. I had them demanding money in advance, and the service was hurried and poor. I put up with it because I still did not know my way around. Once I figured out the rest of the scene, I blew off LDV entirely. I guess they get away with it because of newcomers like me. Here are a few pics of the first girl I met at LDV. She was actually pretty fun and enjoyed posing for the camera. If only the rest were as good.

I’d like to thank Merlin for his emergency help in the mining of chicas in CTG. I quickly realized that it takes some walking around and approaching chicas to find the gems. I’m more used to Thailand where the girls let you know they’re available. I found in CTG I had to make the initial contact sometimes. Tony was helpful too, if you can handle his practices. Here are some pics of 2 girls that he found for me. I couldn’t decide which one to take so I took both for my first 3 some. It was a great experience.

I’ll compare MDE and CTG although it may not be fair based on only 1 trip to each place. I can’t say one is better than the other. They both had their pros and cons. The weather is certainly better in MDE; not nearly as hot and muggy. The food was also a lot better in MDE, but maybe I just didn’t make it to the right places in CTG. I was really looking forward to the great meat I’d had in MDE, but couldn’t find anything comparable. Riquismos was OK, but nothing compared to the meat I had in MDE.

The overall scene is a little more open and varied in CTG, and the girls that I spent time with were much better at service than their MDE counterparts. In fact many of the girls in CTG approached the service levels of Rio. Not quite but close. I think the non pro and semi pro scene is likely better in MDE, but I don’t mess with that too much.

I felt very safe in both cities. Of course I stayed in Poblado in MDE and El Laguito in CTG. Both very good neighborhoods. One scary thing is that I was approached by some underage girls. I almost took one to my apartment, but luckily I thought to check her ID. She looked old enough to me, but her ID was obviously fake. Something to be very careful about. I met a guy on the flight back home whose friend that lives there was in hot water because of a 17 year old. He had to hire an attorney, and has already spent quite a bit of money just to stay out of jail.

I made the trip to 2 Casas while I was there. They were both a long ways from the El Laguito neighborhood where I was staying. It took about a half hour to get there and the neighborhood seems a little sketchy but had no problems. The first place was Casa Rosies, and seemed to have mostly 6 and 7s with an occasional 8. I did session with one girl there and she was a very sensual thing.

I made it to Casa Marino another night, and it was kind of strange. I went with 2 guys that I met in my apartment, and we were the only customers. The girls wouldn’t approach us so I went up to this very fine looking women and asked about pricing. She said it was 130K for the salida (bar fine), and 200K for her. I was a little shocked, and our taxi driver Alex went up and verified that those are indeed the prices. Needless to say we passed and left.

I will certainly be coming back to Colombia but it will be hard to decide which city to visit. I still like Thailand better, but I can see where some guys would prefer Colombia. I really like the Asian look and demeanor of the girls. I also like the ease of Thailand. I guess I’m just a lazy bastard.

Hey av8tr, as usual, excellent pics and report. Certainly appears you did quite well for your first trip. The chica strategy is a bit different than in LOS as you noticed, but half the fun IMO opinion is the change in scene and tactics.

As with you, I've only come across silicone tits once in CTG, and that was with an LDV gal on one of my first trips. I rarely come across them elsewhere. Tony is actually tolerable, and agree with you that he's even more tolerable if you are firm with him. The casas are a hit or miss type of thing, but IMO, the freelancer hunt is the fun part.

Without a doubt your photos are the best to come out of Colombia in a long time, your blond has some killer nips

Blazers- the girls ran from $45 to $90. $90 was overpaying on my first nite. It is more work than Thailand, but the hunt is part of the fun for me. There are many ways to find them. Discos, Casas, cafes, the beach, and thru touts like Tony.

Av8tr, that last pic you posted of that Morena with the big chi-chi's looks amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if her photo gets you an award.

Yes it is a good camera. It's a Nikon Digital SLR, but in the right hands even a decent pocket camera could produce results very close to this.

For instance the very first picture of the report was taken with my little Canon SD450. And that was taken thru an airplane window.
