I have just returned from a week in Buenas Aires and all I can say, guys, is - get your asses down there - now! Buenas Aires is, for me, the city of my dreams - beautiful, sophisticated, great life style, great food and wine, gorgeous women, and lingerie shops on every block of Avenida Santa Fe, one of the main shopping streets and. The latter is important not because I have a penchant for wearing that gear, but rather because the women there DO! - all the time and with great flair!

I have to begin by paying homage to all the great mongers who have paved the way for us - Ezy, Moondog, and most especially, UWphoto, who was kind enough to give me the skinny in the two weeks before I left. He shared details of all the important things - the clubs, the money, the city - thanks, guy! Sorry we didn't connect on the day of your arrival (but I had a chica waiting for an early afternoon session before my flight to Atlanta - and loyalty only goes so far!!).

I had spent the first half of my summer engaged in a major hassle with a client over, for me, a paltry sum of money. By the end of July I was e-mailing the BM in San Jose to inquire about the availability of a 6th floor room (the ones with the balconies and the site of a wild 5 day trip in April with an old college friend - where I met GCL and found out about this board). Couldn't work out the dates, didn't want to settle for less, and kept looking at a couple of pictures on WSA of some chicas from Catto's. Suddenly - BAM! - "fuck Costa Rica, I'm going to Argentina and get me some of that!!"

By the first week of August had cashed in 75,000 FF miles on Delta for a business class seat and booked an executive suite at the ArtsSuites in Recoleta (based entirely on their website - the Etoile is great and convenient but the interior decor just wasn't where I wanted to be). By the middle of August GCL had hooked me up with UWphoto and I was ready!

By way of introduction, I'm in my mid 50's, well off, not bad looking (but no movie star - well, maybe Jack Nicholson), and a little crazy - all my life! Started my mongering days over 35 years ago in Vietnam and, except for 2 marriages lasting a total of about 12 years, have never stopped (well actually didn't even stop then!). Done Thailand, Korea, and Hong Kong in the 70's, Central America in the 80's, and Eastern Europe in the 90's - and now my taste and focus is on South America.

I arrived at EZE at 6:30 in the morning and met the driver I had arranged with the hotel. Off we went to the downtown of the most urbane and sophisticated city I have ever seen outside Europe. Even that early in the morning the place had a special feeling to it...and the hotel was fantastic! Private, great rooms - I had a two room executive suite for the listed price of $65.

I spent the afternoon cruising the Recoleta district locating the clubs I had learned about on this board ...PlayWoman and Solid Gold on one side of the cemetery, Shampoo, Affaire, and Newport on the other (and many, many more!).

Went back to my room by 4:00 to crash for a while but was up and ready to go by 9:30 PM - way early but Mini-Me just wouldn't wait any more!!

By 10:00 PM I was in a taxi to the downtown clubs in the 900 block of Suipacha. I had decided to go all out and hit Hooks first - despite UWphoto's warning that I shouldn't go there until I was ready to take one home, because it was usually filled with 20 year old hardbodies! As I stepped out of the taxi, I liked the club immediately. It's in the basement of an old building with an elaborate, almost Baroque-style facade. Walked in like I owned the place - smile, swagger, and all - and, God Damn it - I did!! There were about 10 attractive young chicas and only one other guy in the place! Within 5 minutes of taking a seat at the bar I had an attractive young Peruvian named Katherine and a less attractive (but still OK) Argentinian rubbing their crotches on my knees at the bar. Now ordinarily I take my time at these things - but hell, I'd been thinking about this trip for 4 weeks (and looking at those Catto pictures for much longer)! So I found myself uncharacteristically saying "What the hell - it's costing you 20 pesos (that's about $5.50) to have these chicks rub their gorgeous little asses on your fine new woolen slacks." They quickly offered to both go back to my hotel for 100 pesos each for 2 hours (ah, guys, that's less than $30!!) but in my experience 3 ways arranged this way are never worth the time (never mind the money). Meanwhile, as I stalled for time before blowing them off, I caught site of a fantastic ass on the other side of the club. By now Mini-Me was in full voice and I quickly disengaged myself from the matched set, walked over to the chica with the package, and simply asked if she was ready to leave for my place. She smile, said yes and agreed to 200 pesos for 3 hours. I paid the bar fine (40 or 50 pesos) and out the door we went for a 5 minute cab ride (total cost 3 pesos or less) to the hotel.
