Just back from Angeles where we spent Christmas plus some weeks...
We have been living in Pattaya for the last 10 years and been regulars to Angeles.
Angeles has changed massively during the last 2 years...
Positive: - Lots and lots of much nicer girls then ever before...They dress nice, their teeth are fixed and their breath is sweet...there now are defintely much more lovely girls and talent then in Pattaya, where you can walk down Soi 7/8 and only find 10-15 lookers in the middle of some hundred old, fat and vulgar Pros...Only newcommers and amateurs and old and ugly guys still fall in love in Thailand...whilest in Angeles you can sit in "Kokomos", watch the traffic and fall in love every few minutes! There is now a much wider choice of nice Hotels and really good bars. Safety has improved.
Negative: Prices are going up....Barfines from 1000 (outlying bars) to 1300(Dollhouse), but mostly 1200. Ladydrinks from 150- 250 (Dollhouse for Gatorade!) Girls expect a tip of 100-200 in the morning and have a good laugh with their girlfriends about the stupid foreigner who tips them 500-1000 on top of their 50% barfine share! Heard plenty of stories from girls how stupid men behave when they want impress them with cash! One lawyer fro US showing the poor little girl from Samar a briefcase full of US$!!!!??? The young English guy who barfines 30! girls a night! The Malaysian that walks into Vegas puts 50 K/Pisos on the table and starts sending girls home at 1200 a piece!
Off course girls are getting more professional and spoilt and I can only hope that most of us behave responsible and don't destroy this last good place to monger...
Sexual performace in Angeles used to be lousy, it has improved some. But still the old tricks....Eager and "horny" in the bar....then the old bs..."Just barhopping", "Just got my menstruation", "I hurt", "Only short time, must go hygiene at 6 am!?", "Must go see family in Manila" etc. etc. Talk clear facts, if need be, with Masasan before paying the fine...Watch out for STDS! Still lots of Genital Warts, some horrendous, they call them coliflower...The hygiene is just a quick papsmear, hardly a real Doctor, not even a visual exam...its all "pretending"...Avoid lovely (in the bar and barhopping...)"Angel" at Lollipops, a real ripp-off pro with al the tricks in the book and a Vagina full of warts...Don't let her fool you...She will not even greet you the day after the ripp-off...
Most of the bars are run professionaly, still hot after all these years....Brown Sugar, Camelot, Blue Nile etc. (now connected with Cambodja, Neros etc.) hundreds of girls and not too much sales pressure anymore...
Go and see some of the "outer" bars, such as Niftys, Rios or any just out of the main area...Niftys etc. are nasty and naughty, treat the girls to a drink and you might get a triple blowjob right theer...Lots of fun!
Just back in Thailand and frustrated like any of us coming back...Land of Smiles???? Kiss my ass...This name should belong to the Phillipines where I still feel welcome and smiles are genuine...while here in Thailand we Falangs would rather be seen wiring our funds to Thailand but not visiting in person...

Your comment that only old guys, newcomers, and amateurs flock to Pattaya is kind of blown out of proportion !!!
do you think for a second that the same old farts,newcomers, and amateurs dont visit Angeles City or have visited or settled there( some of them )!!. Like I said, I find your report and comments very interesting !

Hi Happy Monge...I meant to say that more experienced guys hardly see Thailand as the Land of honey and hardly fall in love as easily as Newcomers.I have met and watched many girls here and have been watching relationships of friends closely for many years...Even so they get royally paid, live in the boyfriends home etc.etc. almost any single one of the girls fu'''around the day he leaves...Most of the girls seem to be much streetwiser then the Falangs. Of course...growing up with values in US & Europe would not even let us dream about what some of these Ladies are doing...I am not frustrated or such, I just refuse to live the Thai illusion...O.c. there is always some exeptions to the rule. Even so the majority of residents in the Pi's seems to be of the Pattaya Backstreets (Soi Bouakao) quality, the resident foreigners there seem to be much more relaxed, not permanently complaining as most of the residents in Pattaya that are usually unhappy old shitstirrers...Now don't let me go into the real Thai culture..you probably would not like it...A close friend just got back from a 3 day visit in a 600 family village/Isaan...Joining some festivities at the local school he asked the principal why there were so few mothers, just fathers around? Everybody from 16 - 45 go to Pattaya, Phuket, Nana to work Falang, his answer. I have no reason to doubt my friend. He was shocked...Happy mongering!
