First, let me begin by saying that this is my first trip report. I have been to Costa Rica over 20 times within the past three years and approximately 6 months ago began exploring Panama. I became intrigued with Panama because it seemed to have many of the amenities of a first world country (good roads, clean water, stable economy, etc.) yet offered the mongering opportunities that we have all come to expect in places such as this.

I was in Panama City from Jan. 18-22nd. This was my fourth trip down there. Each time I have been able to explore more of the city. The fact that my first trip I was able to hop off the airplane and dive right into the mongering is credited to the information I was able to obtain off this board. Thanks to Alecjammer for his "Guide to Panama".

Anyway, as I said, this being my fourth trip to PTY, I found something oddly different this trip that did not exist on my three previous trips. This town seemed to be filled with cock! Everywhere I went there were many more guys than girls, many of which were gringos. It took me four days before I came across a girl that I've banged a few times who told me that the police have been rounding up all of the Columbian girls since January 1st and deporting them back home if their three month visa had expired. Thus, if they hadn't already been deported then they were not out looking for work for fear of being deported. The moral of this story is that the pickings were slim, that is for meeting a working girl out at a bar/club/casino. I'm sure that this problem did not exist in the massage parlors, but I don't like to be "on the clock" when I'm with these girls.

Here's a summation of my stay in Panama City. Thursday night looked like a Sunday night....not a sole around. Went back to the hotel alone and a bit depressed. Friday night a buddy of mine whom I have only known for a few months decided to try that "white stuff" that is imported from Columbia, despite my warnings. After all, who the fuck am I to tell this 38 year old guy what he should/shouldn't be doing! Unfortunately things did not work out too well for him (or me) that night as he almost died as we shuffled him into a taxi. Me and two other guys that I had met earlier in the night carried him stretcher style through the lobby of the Marriott Hotel at 2:00 AM and then to his room. For a brief moment I thought that we might have to use the luggage rack that was next to the doorway. (I would love to see that surveillance tape!) The next half hour was pretty tense and I saw some shit that I've never seen before.......didn't quite know what to make of it.......his body got completely stiff, eyes wide open, heart pumping furiously, etc. Eventually he became coherent after sitting in a puddle of his own sweat. Turns out that this guy was also taking prescription meds (lexapro), drank alcohol, had a few Red Bulls.....not a great combination with the pure coke that he had ingested earlier. I knew that this guy would be awake and bouncing off the walls for the next 24 hours so after I was relatively sure that he would be ok, I decided to go back out.....wasn't going to let his near death experience ruin my night!

At 4Am I dragged these two girls out of a bar called Pilatus in what is known as the "Pink District" on Calle Uruguay. Mind you, there were only like 6 girls in the whole place and about 20 guys. So, I was pretty stoked about taking home 33% of the talent in one scoop. These girls said that they were cousins. One of them was pretty cute, the other, not so cute. But they insisted in me taking them as a package. Being that I had never done this before I figured "why the fuck not!" Got back to the hotel, checked on my buddy, who was looking for coke residue on the carpeting. Left him on his knees in his room and brought these chicks to my room. I fingered the ugly girl who orgasmed pretty quickly. At that point I banged the good looking cousin from behind while the other one watched and played with herself. All in all I guess the night turned out pretty good considering the way it began.

Saturday night I met up with I guy who lives in Panama from this Board. We went to La Bodeguita, a very loud and very dark salsa club. In the past I have been very successful taking girls out of this place. I've always had alot of fun there. The darkness is a problem, as you are never quite sure what she looks like until you get to a more well lit area! Anyway, I left with a girl who had a pretty face and seemed nice. She also spoke a little bit of english, which always helps the evening move along more pleasantly! I take her back to my room, pull off her pants and I begin to see surgical tape all along her midsection from one side of her hips to another. My first thought - "what the fuck is this train wreck!" Turns out that she had liposuction six months earlier. I decided to fuck her anyway, but had her ride me so that I only saw her face and tits and not the rest of her. Needless to say, I had problems with the shoot. She wanted to sleep over but I promptly showed her the door.

I certainly didn't want a repeat of the previous night's performance, so on Sunday I decided to call a girl who I had seen a few times in past trips. This girl worked at Elite......she was probably an 8.5 or 9. Later that evening we met up and had awesome sex. I was disappointed to learn that she would be going back home to Bogota and not returning.

Anyway, that was my trip in a nutshell (at least the nightlife). I know that I'll be back in a few months, as I have purchased some properties down there. I'm hoping that the vaj returns to its previous numbers. This place is definitely not San Jose. It does have potential, though!

Well you can scratch PANAMA off the "To Do List" LOL. Sounds like Panama is "Done". And the six-packers are SLOWLY making thier way down, slowly but surely. Soon all of Central and South America wll have all VEGAS prices.. We can only blame ourselves and people who OVERPAY.. Nuff Said!

Panama, or any place in central/south america will not have vegas prices anytime soon; but Panama city will is becomming a central american vegas, and over the next 5 years I'll bet things jump up about 20% there for mongerers, unless you want the dirty ones down by Calendonia. Still not bad considering the good pussy you can get down there at any time.

As AJ says, and this guy wrote the book on Panamanian mongering, if you use your people skills in Panama out in the bars and meet the semi-pros, you can get laid pretty easily for a little cash and treating the chica well, with a promise of being a semi-regular "novio." This may mean you will take her to the beach and out to dinner every time you are there, and throw some cash her way to meet some of her needs. But it usually works well in Panama City and I love it! It all depends on what you are looking for.

Though I haven't been to Panama since October I've been reading and hearing through various sources that the Colombinas were being rounded-up...those that have exceeded their 90-day visa and/or work permit.

Although I'd love to say the hardline is due to the Panama Canal referendum and approved decision to expand the Panama Canal...you know...a lot of US and foreign investment come with that...my gut is telling me that US govt religious right influence is putting pressure on Panama to make P4P more difficult.

On the other hand, Manuel Noriega is supposed to be released this next September. Maybe when ole pinneapple face returns he will put the country back on its ear and fuck-up current trends. (But I doubt it...if he comes back to Panama I think somebody will cap him).

I agree with Elimgarak...if you have people skills and are willing to hang-out in the clubs, you'll meet lots of women in Panama. Then if you can habla the words "sexo" and "mi" your chances of getting laid skyrocket!

If you are a newby and alone, sit at a table with a drink and a pack of smokes in front of you to use as bait...even if you don't smoke get a pack and lay them out in front of you...smokes are cheap...like $1.50. I guarantee you...interested women will bum a cigarette and say hi...from there it is easy peasy Japaneasy.

And if that doesn't work...go to the sex clubs or MPs. I've fucked many Colombinas and Panamenas at most of these places...though the Colombianas are more desperate to turn a trick (to make money) I can't say with any degree of certaintly that they fuck better than Panamenas. (Okay, now all the guys who monger in Colombia will come raining down on me). But I stand by my words. Show me a Colombina who can curl my toes and I can find an equally hot Panamena who will do the same.

I have read all of your posts on Panama and your information has been extremely accurate and well appreciated! My post was merely to point out that there were alot of dudes hanging out in all of my favorite places, making even the uglier girls harder to get. I guess I'm just used to the Hotel Del Rey in Costa Rica where you walk in any time of the day or night and the ratio of ticas to guys is like 5-1! As I said, though, Panama has ALOT of potential and I'm not giving up on it yet!

Panama City is much better than San Jose IMHO. Did you hit the places in El Dorado? Golden Time and Club Miami are great choices and very different setups. I thought the talent at both were far superior to anything I saw this month in the shithole that is San Jose.

I don't know what Sobe9ball is referring to. I don't see any references to overpaying in this report. The report also is not a typical hobbying report, instead it focuses on semi-pros.

Talent was excellent when I visited Panama a few months ago, but I mainly stuck with the pro places such as the ones Catocony mentions.

Pilatus and La Bodeguita vs the Blue Marlin/Hotel del Rey is apples to oranges. The former in San Jose are semi-pro venues while the latter in Panama City is all-pro.

It may be true that they've escalated a Visa crackdown this month, but even if they did it would be unlikely to affect pro clubs and massage parlors which mostly employ Panamians and foreigners with valid visas.

I'm sure Panama is still a good option for those that do not limit themselves to semi-pros.

Given the Bush Administration's penchant for withholding money based on "moral issues", I agree with Alecjamer that the likely cause of a crackdown has been pressure from the US government. I am optimistic that the situation will not be permanent.

Two years ago in Panama city you had really good looking semi-pros walking the streets most nights on the hot spots, particularly around Venetos and McDonalds on Via Espania. In 2005 it was so easy to get laid for $40 it was ridiculous. This one chica gave me a long BBBJ, which took so long since I just came back from club Miami. A few hours later I went out and found another in front of the casino and banged her for $40 (and that was with a $10 tip!).

But times have changed since they are trying to make it more favorable for families, business people, shit like that. I have noticed that the street girls are coming back slowly though around Venetos, outside Manolos and down that block. Only on certain nights though. However, there has been a crackdown and they do NOT like to see you talking to SG's. They will bust you if you do.

My last trip was a few weeks ago, and it seemed kinda like old times. Not as much police and a lot of simple partying. SG's were around but a bit on edge watching around them.

It is hard to say where it is going to go. People do like to get laid when they get there, and many men, like me, enjoy being approached by easy SG's that are decent looking and willing to please for $30.

Getting one out of Venetos (90% columbianas) is work. They are very coy and want you to ask, ask, ask, and then ask again. Buy drinks, cigs, talk............shit! Who the fuck wants all that!?

AJ - The balance between the Columbianas I have banged vs. the Panamanians is something I find interesting. There is a rivalry between the two, as far as every time I have spoken to either a Pana or Colum chica, they generally denote distaste for the other. The Panas are usually more passionate, real, and make better affectionate Novias. The columbianas are there for a money making purpose, sending it home to the family, and there is a difference in the quality of the fuck IMHO. I prefer the Panamanian semi-pros I can build a relationship with, if I can find them. The Columbianas are more "whore-like," but equally if you get close to them both sets of chicas in Panama will manipulate you for cash there and when you get home via the phone.............its just what they do. This is why it is good to realize the abundance of looker-hookers you can actually find on any given trip. As we used to say in HS, find em, fuck em, forget em. You should never get too close to any chica in Panama, since 95% of the time, if she is in a rush to fuck you she is doing it with 4 others when you leave. Her email list is probably loaded with guys she is cutting and pasting the same "loving, te extrano" emails to every week. It is funny, since I have known a few who actually fuck up and have though I was one of their other guys on the phone. I let this go on for as long as I can just for fun.

Real Estate and popularity for Panama City, as well as the developing infrastructure for the interior areas, will cause it to tighten up and be a little less of that Wild West kind of place within the next 5 years I predict. But you will still be able to go out and get laid for around $70 or $80, no matter what. As well, once the hubba ballo goes out and the people start pouring in for the new jobs of the new casinos, and the canal expansion; once they have their investors already committed, you will see a turn back to the good ol days, and I am sure it will get a lot freer; but I do not think it will ever be as easy as it was 2005 and prior, simply because of all the money going into Panama right now.

I am sure that pressure for clean up efforts comes from the local businesses and the large amount of outside investors building up Panama. As it becomes more and more 1st World like then the open street and bar level activity can be expected to drop off and moved to designated zones. Just a fact of life. Can't see the US Govt. behind this.

I can see the US government behind a lot of stuff in Panama, but equally, I see other influences too. Thought the US turned-over the Canal Zone and the military bases back to Panama in 1999...the US influence in Panama remains very high. Especially with Venezuela (Chavez) running amok trying to influence other Latin and South American countries...China too has business ties to Panama and everywhere China is...the US will be there watching.

I think Panama wants to become more US like...more regulated...with more safety regulations (which is probably good to a certain extent). Panama recently experienced some third world stupidity that was directly blamed on Panama's government sleeping at the switch...for example, the anti-freeze that was cut into sugar-free cough syrup at a government run pharmacutical manufacturing plant...killed a confirmed 30-40 people with an estimated (unconfirmed) toll of as many as 300 or more people...the investigation continues. Then they had a couple serious bus accidents...one bus trapped 18 people in the rear when it caught fire and they all burned to death on one of Panama Cities busiest main streets.

These disasters were big stories that hurt Panama's government safety credibility. With Panama diligently working to curry the favor of the World Bank to secure a $5B loan to expand the Panama Canal...Panama could not afford these "safety" related black-eyes.

With big businesses looking to invest in Panama...new casinos like Venetos, new high-rise condos like Trump Tower...public safety becomes a big concern because tourism, not mongering tourism, truly brings-in the big bucks. Panama had to act quickly to address the safety issues on all levels.

I think Panama not only responded to the traffic safety issues...bus & taxi safety inspection, enforcement of traffic laws (unheard of before for anyone, other than a gringo, to be pulled-over for speeding...now it is done frequently).
But also, prostitution and drugs...big news in the paper as Panama has been making big drug busts...tons of cocaine destroyed and mega-millions of dollars confiscated...in retaliation, the narcos burned down a Cuna Indian village and someone got their foot chopped off...Cunas must have gave the government a few tips.

As everyone knows, the narco problem stems from Colombia into Panama. Naturally, men from Colombia are automatically suspect...but the women too to a lesser extent drugs, but moreso for prostitution. As Panama exec branch dug into the visas they were granting Colombian men (potential narcos) they discovered a hoard of expired visas for the Colombian women.

I suspect Presidente Torrijo's threatened to fire a higher-up or several higher-ups in the chain-of-command therefore lighting a fire under their asses causing the round-up and deportation of many Colombians, both men and women, that we see today.

Is this going to destroy Panama as a favored mongering destination...I think hardly. But, if Panama starts to lean towards making regulated prostitution illegal...then that would suck.

In reality, I think the worse we will see is a rise in inflation causing everyone in Panama (across the board) to raise prices.

Like Elim predicts...within the next 5-years it might be routine to pay a whore $70 or $80 for her services. And those of you who routinely pay the "asking" rather than "going" rate can expect to pay $100 or more per pop.

Okay. Perhaps then I've venture into Colombia and down to Brazil for a cheaper piece of ass.

Improving traffic safety MY ASS! Have you ever tried to cross Via Espania across to the Riande Continental Hotel at prime time? There are two cross walks there and you take your life into your hands each time you step off the fucking curb! What a fucking circus that is! The cars just barely stop and let you cross, and it seems like they go from 80 KPH to a stop in an instant as they decide to not kill you in a split second.

I notice that Panama definately wants to stay PANAMA, both on levels of Gov't and by the people's wishes. They have no great love for the USA, besides getting more Gringo Green whenever they can, and they certainly do not want to be overcome by US regulation nonsense. China and the USA have been competing in Panama for decades: The Chinks own the HUTCHINSON COMPANY, which controls much of the operations of the Panama Canal. Although ostensibly the Panamanians own the canal and the waterways, they can't really do anything with it without consulting this Chink company. The USA, as always, has their hands into the country via banking, currency, and pharmaceuticals.

You are right AJ, that is my worst nightmare that Panama would become another Puerto Rico........that would totally suck! It is a playground right now for all men, rich and middle class (if that means anything anymore). Right now I believe the Panamanians like being sovereign and want to keep things to themselves; I know Torrios thinks this way; He still blames the US, China and the UK for setting up his father's plane crash, and as well has no great love for the superpowers who are attempting to control his country. This all being known, if anyone were ever going to take over Panama it would have to be by military conquest, and I don't see that happening anytime soon (until WWIII breaks out anyway). I believe Panama will remain mostly the playland it is as long as the Panamanians keep control.
