Hi Guys,

Just got back home in Australia from my second holiday in Manila and am pleased to report that I am totally exhausted! I travelled alone like last year and stayed again in Ermita at the Hyatt Casino, not cheap I know but worth every penny! 5 star all the way!

Just for a little background, let me tell you that I am an average looking guy, 55 years old, divorced and on my annual holiday just looking for some casual encounters with as many pretty filipinas as I can find! And I sure wasn't disappointed. This year I hit the ground running as I knew my way around and wasn't put off by the chaos in the streets that is part of an average day in Manila but sure intimidated me last year! So I made for the LA cafe as soon as I had unpacked and walked straight through the ground floor and headed upstairs. In my opinion the best way to go for a paltry 100 peso entry but without doubt the better looking girls are on the first floor and you just have to be patient and let the night develop and as the dancing starts and the place starts to rock about 11pm you can basically take your pick of plenty of way above average looking girls.

I also had a bit of luck as one of the girls I had met and treated well last year saw me and introduced me to some of her friends. The good reference did me no harm and each night I followed pretty much the same procedure. All I did was make it clear to each of the girls that I preferred to have a different girl each night and that I wasn't looking for a steady girlfriend. Also I wasn't cheap and bought plenty of drinks for the girls and their friends. But hey! The beer is only 95 pesos and I was looking for a good party time! Spent most of each night drinking and dancing and playing pool with heaps of different ladies until about 3 in the morning and then I decided which one I liked most and I would whisper to her that I would like her to stay with me that night and she would let her friends know, without any major problems.

On a couple of occasions I took 2 girls back with me with a good night had by all. I'm not ashamed to say that at age 55 I had some viagra to help me and I can heartily endorse the product! Great stuff!

I also always invited the girls to stay for breakfast, some did, some declined. Up to them! No problem! I never discussed money beforehand with the girls, just gave them 2-3000 pesos and told them how much I enjoyed the night and why don't you go and have fun shopping! Maybe I will see you again that night! I know I was a little generous but the response was always good and besides, I had had a great night so I showed it! Cheap by Aussie standards!
Also I always used a condom although that was always at my insistence. I didn't want to knock up any of the girls and give them more problems than they already have and why take a health risk? In total in 10 days I had 6 different girls. I had one girl on three different nights and 2 of them on 2 different nights, plus there was an overlap as they paired up on 2 nights for me! Loved it!

I also visited the G point and while it was fun there with the staff and playing pool etc I generally found the girls there a little older and not quite as attractive. In summary I would advise anyone looking for this sort of holiday to not be too cheap, treat the girls with respect but be straight with them as to what you expect from them. Get their cell nos, their yahoos etc, they love text messages etc and will keep in touch.

Be aware that they will try things on you and that most of the girls, the regulars anyway, know one another very well and talk about the customers and word will spread very quickly if you are cheap or don't treat them well.

I plan to go back again as soon as I can, work and money permitting but I have had the holiday of a lifetime. I have no fantasys left! Hehehehe

I also now really appreciate girls with a ball bearing in their tongue! Hehehe

Thanks for the report Pedro. On my one trip to Manila, I too got locked in on L.A. Cafe and didn't really make it to the other mongering locations in the city. Let's face it, the place is a blast!

Hope you have some photos Pete...dont get too many photos of girls from LA Cafe. I cant imagine using my only vacation and spend the entire time in Ermita but its your vacation. 3,000 pisos is way too high for LA Cafe freelancers unless the girls are top notch beauties. You might want to try EDSA complex on your next trip, considering you are paying for freelancers what you could pay for gogo girls who are normally of much higher quality and dont have the remnants of childbirth(stretch marks, deflated tits) that LA Cafe girls are known for. In EDSA, you can see the girls in a bikini so no suprises when you take the clothes off.

As far as daytime action. How the hell did you occupy your daytime activities considering Manila has nothing to do but shop during the day and none of the bars are open...especially for 10 days.

I have only been to the phillipines once, and that was malina, but the great thing about places like the LA cafe, is its open all night to the early hours of the morning, the only other place in SE Asia ive enjoyed untill the earky early hours of the morning is the casinos in poipet Cambodia.

What is the going rate for LA Cafe? You mentioned you were being generous at 2-3k pesos? How much is the avg tip? is there a barfine like in BKK? Is LA Cafe frequented by other locals or is it a hot tourist mongering place?

Also in EDSA, what is the going rate there? and is there a barfine?

LA Cafe is purely monger tourists and some local expats. The going rate for paying LA Cafe girls is anywhere from 1,000-1,500 for ST, 1,500 if the girl is incredible looking which is rare there. Most of the girls you meet there late so they stay the night with you and will gladly take 1,500. You can give them 2,000 if they stay long the next day and you get multiple pops. Remember that most of the girls there are mom's which is why I dont like the place as much. There is no barfine there.

Blazers' is spot on about LA Cafe, 1500 is the most you should pay at LA Cafe and the vast majority of times the gals will take 1K. Don't forget to check out the 2nd floor where some gals (some trophies) hangout at the bar and where it's less crowded. LA CAFE requires patience b/c gals come and go throughout the night, so the inventory can change hourly. I also run across Filipinas that have downloaded a kid or two, but also, last few trips, there are "mamasan" older gals there w/ 2 or 3 cute gals each.

EDSA had (6 mos ago) a cover of 1K and "tip" for the gal ranging from 1500-2000 pisos. One of the "better" deals in Manila. Never miss this place, it's one of my favorite venues as it's usually empty of other mongers and some bars like Firehouse, Spacegirls and Bullets and Arrows (??) always have total hotties. Plus, many gals are Manila locals (students, secretaries) moonlighting part time as dancers.

I just got back from trip to PI. Report hopefully soon to follow. Hotel on Burgos St, so spent most of my time there(4 girls) and 1 night at EDSA(1 girl). Only bar at EDSA I really liked was bullets. Burgos BF 2250 plus 2000 tip to girl. Most bars there had very high drink pressure too! Freelancers asking 1000-2000 depending on lenght of time requested. EDSA 1000bf plus 2000 tip. I thought burgos had best looking girls but also most expensive(imagine that). Sorry to say never made it to LA Cafe

Great trip report....I can def agree that spending entire trip in LA Cafe is possible, the variety is endless especially if you hit both floors.

Tobruk - I loved Bullets in EDSA also, I felt the highest percentage of good lookers compared to anywhere else in one location. Spent a couple nights there myself back in Nov, low drink pressure and very friendly girls with great attitudes. Also liked Firehouse, they had a few stunners in there as well......I'll be back for another 4-weeker in Nov/Dec. You hate to leave one place, but when you arrive at the next, all the happiness comes screaming back!

I spent 3 weeks in ermita back in january 07 and can confirm that LA Cafe is a pretty cool place. I took alot of girls out of there and really had no problems with any of them....once you have blown off a few old hags, drunks, and even a few deaf and midget girls....then you can focus on the winners...and there are some...i even had a few girls for free....first night some dude wanted me to bang his GF...no problem...!!!
Don't pay over 1,500 piso...unless she is a stunner with a good attitude and performance...then the tip is up to you really. Upstairs to the right is the korean and japanese section...if you are white...stay to the left and have a seat.
You should be aware that some of the "underage girls" have a habit of being downstairs in the back by the pool tables...personally i would not mess with them...headaches if they call the police..$$$$
EDSA Complex....I went in there and just about fell asleep...girls onstage always looking at their watches...they don't like to dance and I would bet many are "runners".
I never fell asleep at LA Cafe...it's a fun place...enjoy yourself.

You guys are paying too much. For freelancers I only pay p500, and once p1000 for a stunner. I only do short time, because there is always the opportunity to offer more in exchange for LT. Also, i've only had two freelancers who ran after one pop, most will do two or three if they are actually enjoying themselves.

I admit that with my cheap prices, some will balk and walk away. Guess what: these are also the ones that will bitch, complain, and make your experience less fun. Being cheap isnt just a technique to save money, it's also a litmus test to separate the ones who are cooperative, from the seasoned hustlers.

BTW, some real cuties in bars along EDSA west of taft. Cheap barfines depending upon time of day or nite, totally negotiable. At 7AM I got a cutie bf'ed for only p500, plus p500 for her.

So thats my style and opinion, feel free to try it ladies.
