Sunset Gardens is definitely a step up from Mo's. The place has a couple improvements not mentioned on their website. See some pics posted in the hotels topic.
-They now have wireless internet. Good strong signal in my room, and the pool/ bar area at 54.0 Mbps
-They have digital safes in the rooms. Not big enough to hold a laptop, but good size.
-Hotel exchange rate just a hair less than best rates I have seen around town and better than rate at Central Park I saw. So small a margin common sense told me to just exchange here rather than carry a wad of cash out into the wilderness.
-Cleaning staff does a great job and everything is maintained well. No worries about air conditioner mold. I have been seeing a maintenance guy doing full cleaning with units out of the wall. My maid took the filter out of mine yesterday without my asking and cleaned that and wiped the rest down. No troubles have extra towels left every day.
-I love the diving board. Nice deep clean pool
-Assortment of women's swim suits available for rent
-Pool tables in good shape. Only hitch is that they are 1p per minute.. still cheap though
-The gym looks quite all right with free weights, machines, and a bike.
-Food is pretty decent. (menu on their website) Probably not the cheapest, but nice. Used room service only once in the middle of an afternoon and it was prompt. Newspapers and some magazines in the restaurant.
-CR (toilets) in bar / pool area kept very clean
-Most of the guests are German it seems. Quiet mellow crowd that lounges around the pool area a lot. A couple with honey-kos and small kids. Most seem to have been here a few times.
-A little road noise, but not bad at all. Fan turned on the air-con unit covers up anything.
-Good security. Girls not allowed to leave alone and must be either escorted to the front or else they call the room. One guard scrutinized the ID of a girl he thought looked a bit young before letting us in.
After checking in, next stop was to get my passport and a cell phone. Walked the five minutes or so to BeeLine located near Emotions / Touch of Class and got my passport leaving 400p tip for Joey. Continued walking and found a little cellphone shop nearby. Bought a used basic Nokia with a new battery (made sure to see battery package opened), charger, SIM card, and a 500p load for a total of 2500p. Load included something like 150 free text messages. I did not think at the time to try try to negotiate the price down, but I think I did OK.
Went back to Emotions and sucked down some Sam Migels. After a couple interviews, I BarFined the naughty and playful Rena. Girls quite touchy-feely at this bar giving the occasional flash of the flesh too. Back at Sunset, Rena showed some great skills and very GFE. It did not take much thought to decide to keep her through the night. For the evening we did a near perimeter run stomping in at Stampede and a couple others. Stampede was a bit raunchy with Rena joining the girls on stage for a bit. Dinner at Edelweiss. Food was OK, but does not warrant a special trip to return. On to Field's and a visit to Gilly's Roadhouse where her cousin works.

I really like Roadhouse. Comfortable seating and a nice CR. Video DJ that takes requests playing mostly 70s and 80s hard rock. Lots of rules for the dancers with guest relations officers always close by. It was a slow night and we spent a good two hours hanging out with Rena's cousin Gerlie. (seen all over the Roadhouse website and notably GOM for July 06) Bought her a couple lady drinks and judged a blow job shot competition between her and Rena. Great to hang out with and chat. Decided to set her up with a buddy and do a double date thing with a buddy coming into town the next day. Leaving, Rena and I went to Carousel and Agasha before calling it a night.
Next day ReBF'd Rena and lounged until the meet up with 'B' at Roadhouse as they opened at 6pm. B and I hit it off well and we called Gerlie down from the stage. A couple rounds, he BF'd her, and everyone was happy. Back to a barhop with B and Gerlie splitting off after the over the top bar Dollhouse. Finished with Rena and sent her off in the morning.

I agree about Sunset Gardens. It is a bargain for what you get, the pool is awesome and the restaurant is pretty good. I would recommend getting a room that doesn't have it's rear wall to Perimeter road because those trikes can wake the dead. Some of the rooms are falling apart though, so I hope the constant work will fix that. And it's nice to see they've added in room safes, so you don't have to carry around too much cash all day.
Personally, I'm not impressed by the idea of any of the newer hotels making rooms to look great on a website, but for $50+ per night there's no pool or no windows in the room and the restaurant is crap.
