It's Saturday and I'm over at Don's. Jaguar and MBL come in from a few days up in Salvador. Jaguar is a very nice guy, and I really enjoyed meeting him. MBL is very nice and is even better looking in real life. We visited and then MBL comes down from their apartment and is hungry. So the three of us walk down the block to Kilogram for dinner. Jaguar was kind enough to accommodate my request to eat there and experience this place for the first time. The place had really decent food and the meat was very good. After dinner I was back hanging out with Don and Gibletpie when Gibletpie decided he wanted to go over to Luomo. I hadn't been there so I tagged along for the adventure. Luomo is different from 4x4 in that is seems more "homey." It's in a friggin mall which just blows your mind. I mean…..really….what a great city……in my next life I wanna come back a rich male Brazilian. Anyway the have a nice "happy hour" going on with great finger food at no cost, you can get a massage there if so inclined and the main area where the girls are is very small and cozy compared to 4x4. I was standing at the bar next to Gibletpie (again a celebrity) taking it all in. The girls there are a bit more forward then the girls at 4x4 and I had to nicely shew away a few that were not my type, and I really wanted to pick one out myself instead of always being "chosen." Not gonna happen. Along comes Joyice…..Oh my…..a real face beauty with a very nice body but with only an A cup tits and I do like a woman's tits at least a large B. Anyway she just slides up next to me (this is right after I sent the previous one away) and starts cooing in my ears and begins caressing my arms and shoulders. Hoped in a cab and went back to the apartment to shower and headed out to eat. Ended up around midnight at Help. I went in this time, first time in Help. It was actually very nice inside and has a huge dance floor. The talent was really nice there, and I had many women approach me. The damn problem is that there is so much to choose from you just don't want to make a selection because you may see one even better in a couple of minutes. You really have to stay mobile if your stationary too long some cute young thing will approach you. I was checking out one babe dancing with a friend on the floor. She sees me watching her and after a couple minutes of flirting back and forth she motioned for me to join her. We danced for about 10 minutes and then she asked me for some bottled water. She was very pretty, sexy dress, probably about 25 years old. I was debating whether or not to take her home. I was flying home the next afternoon and I had arranged to take a favela tour with a group the next morning at 8 AM. So like a damn idiot I excused myself and went back to my apartment. To make this even worse I slept in in the morning and blew off the favela tour. I would, should have had the 25 year old in bed blowing me off…….

Rio is a fantastic place to vacation too. Between the women, nature, food, and nightlife it's a great place. I started thinking about my next trip there before I finished the current one. The only other country that got under my skin like that is Thailand. So I'm back to Brazil in August for 9 days with an additional 5 days in Buenos Aires. And in no small part due to Cubanut's trip reports and pictures on Medellin and Cali I'm going to both of those cities in July. If anyone's got plans to be in those destinations during those months drop me a line and we'll see if the timing works to meet up.

Nice report. Joycie looks really cute and fun. I stayed at Brazil specialists place last year and had a great time. I spent more time in Help than you did. I must get back soon.

Thanks! Help had a very good selection when I was there. I admit I under utilized it. I won't make that same mistake next time. Joyice was an awesome 2 hour companion. Hope to put more time on meter with her this summer.

I only spent about an hour with BS at his place and met a couple of guys who were staying there. BS was very nice and invited me back but I didn't have a chance. I'll be in Rio longer on the next trip, so I can maybe hang with him a bit longer. He did have a cute blonde walking around half naked while I was there though.

Tbird, regarding having the plane turned around, I will always remember Alderon's first trip. He was on an employee pass on Delta from Atlanta to Sao Paulo and then Gol or something from Sampa to Rio since Delta didn't fly here then. After his week here was over - his first mongering run ever - he hopped his Gol flight to Sampa but it was delayed and he missed his Delta flight home. What did he do? He spent the night in Sampa and got an early flight back to Rio the next morning and stayed another week. I think he either called in sick all week or made up some bullshit story about having to stay in Brasil due to some reason or another. The real reason was he was at Luomo from opening to close most days.

Cat, That is probably the most believable story I've heard. I hate going to malls but if we had a Luomo in our malls here I'd become a mall rat.

Sorry I'll miss you in August. BA is one of my favorite cities in the world, but the action there is several steps below Rio. But enjoy!

Tbird, that's why I'm exploring the idea of taking my pension and moving down to Brasil when I retire in a couple of years. I don't feel like waiting till my next life - and ending this one there might help me come back as a local.

Unlike many others on this forum, I had gone to Brazil before knowing about this site. I mongered from the 1st day there, but didn't have this great site to guide me through.

I noticed on your first report, you commented that you didn't want to buy one of the terma girls a Red Bull. Can you explain why? I love Rio but definitely need more work on my interview, and don't want to be one of those americans spoiling the brazileiras and ruining it for future mongers. So how come you denied the Red Bull?

Red Bull is massively expensive - R$14 or more per can - and is thus a ripoff. Any garota who can't make do with a beer or juice or coca water doesn't get my business.

Mamboman thanks for the kind words. Catocony said it perfectly concerning the Red Bull. I took the advice from many of the comments on this board about buying a rental girl a Red Bull. Taxi: You have at least three options. If you're comfortable with it, just go outside, look for a yellow cab with a sign that says Taxi-Meter" on top. Just make sure the driver turns on the meter once he starts moving. If he doesn't, point to the meter, and if he still doesn't, tell him to stop (pare!) and get out. Option two is to take one of the radio cabs. When you come through customs you'll see a line of booths with girls trying to get your attention. Always ask for a discount after they quote a price (say "tem desconto?"). You can pre-pay for a ride to Ipanema, but it will cost 1/3 again as much as a meter cab. But they are safe and comfortable. Option three is to call Don or Ken at Amerioca and arrange to have one of their drivers meet you at the airport. Cost is a bit less than the radio cabs and a bit more than the meter cabs, but it's risk- and worry-free.

With respect to the bbbj question, there are 50 ways to ask. You could also say "quero um boquete sem camisinha. Pode ser?" (uses the slang term boquete for BJ). But "você chupa sem camisinha?" is easiest to say.

Jaguar that frown on my face was because I relized I don't live permanently in Rio. Sorry to hear about MBL but look at all that money you'll be saving now by not having to buy her buckets o' shrimp. :-) I'm sure our paths will meet again my friend, and I'll look forward to it.

Great report and very helpful Q&A. I used Bwana Dik's report which was great last September. I am heading back in late April for a few weeks. I did mostly Termas last time and never went to Help. I heard it was kind of rough there. What I just read makes me think it is something I should try this trip. Thanks. Another source for apartments in Ipanema is Tracy at flathuntersrio@samerica.com in case anyone is interested. He was very helpful then and also this trip and can also arrange phone and pick up at the airport. Wow. Last time every drink I bought for the girls was red bull, including their friends. I just figured that they got more credit or money for ordering it. I did not realize they were testing. Hmmm. Well, I am really looking forward to this trip. Would love to meet anyone else there April 25 to May 10. Sounds like several of you are close to retirement age like me. Rio, Thailand, and China (Guangzhou) are at the top of my list for quality and cost.

Hey great report Tbird, I just left Rio during Carnival, and had a great time just the Garota's by GDP law ask for way too much money for the poon, but hey it is what it is.

But Tbird I've bever seen this girl JOYCIE, I've been hitting RIO for almost 5years, and I've grown a little humdrum with Help amd prefer my Regular call ups and Termas, I find this much easier on the pocket.
