That was a remarkable sentence for a girl who didn't speak any English.
She said that to my brother, thank God not to me, I guess she could gauge him
as the weaker one, in her "professional" opinion.

OK - I am getting ahead of myself.

Here is a short report from a five days visit to Western Costa Rica,
to the small seaside resort of FLAMINGO BEACH, close to Tamarindo (you fly
into CR's northern airport Liberia, from there it's a one hour drive).

My brother owns a condo there, an excellent investment, by the way.
The whole place is typical Costa Rican, with small towns, horrible
roads, nice deserted beaches, friendly people. Besides that, the hillsides
and beachfronts are being built up frenetically by American and European
investors and retirees. The place has good restaurants, because the
median age of the foreigners living there, and the visitors too, is about 70 !!

So you can imagine the nightlife: almost nonexistent.
But brother and I asked around a little and found that there actually
is ONE nightclub/casino, where all the action is supposed to be:
AMBERES CLUB & CASINO.

So we go there the second night, after having said Good Night to our
mother, who also was with us, at around 10.30pm.

The place was almost empty, with a few geriatric guys hanging at the
bar, and two of them were involved with two quite hot looking chicas,
this definitely looked like a professional relationship. So maybe
there is potential here…??

We hung out for quite a while, but no new chicas turned up. I struck up a conversation
with one of the guys and his chica, but they only smiled mysteriously
at me. I complimented them on their perfect choice in each other and tried
to get some info where there might be more, but to no avail.

Next evening, after having checked some other suggested bars and hangouts,
with no action, my brother and I went to AMBERES again, and - look there -
one of yesterday's two chicas was there - without any guys.

Janet, a cute morena, was really pretty, and both my brother
and I chatted her up (he in broken Spanish, I in broken
Portugues/Spanish) and we both liked her. So-what the hell -
let's have her together. We might even got a discount, lol!

Now this was really an excellent deal for Janet, because she would not
go down from $200 for one person, but still gave us a "discount" of
grand total $50 for two, so we paid $175 each!
Hey, that's what happens in a seller's market.

We went to our condo, had some drinks, had really quite good
and lengthy sex (CBJ, though), and both brother and me being in
our 50's and having had a few drinks, could go on forever.

...... that's when Janet pointed at my brother, and said:

"OK, I finish you first!"

Hahaha, he actually did as he was told, and then I was done
and happy too, so we drove her back home to her hotel, and brother
and I congratulated each other that we WERE able to find somebody
in this godforsaken place, and she was cute and pretty too.

casino, and a few ugly non-pros at the bar too, but I really am concentrating
on the pro's here).

Janet informs us that she is the best one there (of course), she points at
one of the other chicas, a young pretty tall one, and informs us that
she is incompetent at sex, that guys complain about her.
Another chica, a little older, is supposed to specialize in 18 year old guys,
and, when some young guys enter the scene a quick connection is made.

And then there is number 4, an interesting black chica, with a coy smile,
and she is on her own tonight.

Guess what, yours truly immediately approaches her and she turns out to
be very friendly, and even speaks excellent English. Since brother doesn't
like her, she is all mine.

So the next days I became a regular with the black chica, while my poor
brother gave up. Too much trouble communicating in Spanish, and too few chicas.

(There is supposed to be more nightlife in Tamarindo, but it is 1/2 hour drive
away, and we were reluctant to drive these bad roads at night, after a few drinks,
it is too easy to hit someone walking on the road, so we never went there at night).

The black chica - PATSY - turned out to be a gem.
No sharing with brother, just her and me.
She was hot in a natural way, just like the black girls in Rio (my experience in
Rio is that to my taste the morenas are the prettiest, but that the mulatas and
pretas are the hottest).

Here we had a much better level of intimacy, similar to Rio, BBBJCIM right away,

Cost was also less: $150 per evening (but not all night).

So this is the deal:

AMBERES, the club, actually "hires" these girls from San Jose, to bring a little
liveliness to the scene. There were no local pro girls at all. These girls from
San Jose, who can be as few as 2 or as many as 10, stay there for 2-3 weeks at a time,
and have a relatively easy job there. Mostly geezers who have money and don't haggle
over the price, and no competition.

In fact, I even had to tell Patsy at times that I wanted a "reservation for her"
for 10pm the next evening, or she would have been taken by someone else.
And this is the way it seemed to work there. Very few girls, and once you have
a relationship with one and like one, you basically need to stay with her, or you
will have no sexo .....
Good also, that it looked like most of the other guys had no game at all, they
were mostly drinking themselves silly and were watching football.

So a potentially no sexo trip turned out to be fun anyway.

But, for all of you mongers, you surely have figured
this out by now: Flamingo Beach in Costa Rica is **NOT** a mongering destination, GUARANTEED!!! There simply are not enough girls, it’s pathetic.
I’m already booked for my next trip to Rio – boy am I happy about that!!

I relaxed at a family oriented resort right off Flamingo beach for a couple of days after a week of "eco-tourism" in the Guanacaste region of the country. Very nice area, especially for retirees but I definitely did not pick up any vibe that this part of CR will interest mongers. . .

If nothing else, you made those guys paying R$250 for all-nighters in Rio a little better. $175 for short-time with a CBJ!

I was just in Tamarindo between March 17th-24th. This is about 20KM south or about 1 hour from Flamingo Beach. I thought the selection was great at a number of bars there. It appeared to me and my friends that the scene changed from bar to bar on any given night. The chicas didn't show up until at least 2030 or 2100 at which time the selection was great. 30-40 girls to choose from. Standard price was $100.00 for one hour and prices were pretty set. Now the rooms, if you didn't want to bring them back to your accommidations were about $20.00. It appeared through my limited Spanish that the hotel guy wanted more but I played dumb and just insisted that $20.00 was more than generous for an hour or less in the room.

I'm not sure if the large amount of chicas was due to the peak of spring break or if you could always expect this in Tamarindo but I would give the selection a 7-8 across the board with price being a 5-6. I would enjoy that trip again.
