2007/05 Jaggerbowski - Eastern Europe 2004: Romania, Bulgaria & Hungary
I was short by 1,000; enough points to get to Eastern Europe (specifically Romania) via Delta (50K). So I decided to buy the outstanding amount. When they discovered that I was not from the United States, the agent put me on hold for 50 solid minutes. Then she apologized; and asked that I be put on hold again, so she could speak with her manager. Well, at the end of it all, they elected to give me the missing points, and I booked for mid-August. The carrier was actually Alitalia.
