Cousin Bill was in Argentina, and we had planned to venture from there to Bolivia. Whenever Bill mentioned Bolivia, everyone in Argentina said, " Bolivia, ¿Por qué Bolivia?"

Bolivia is one of the poorest countries in South America. GDP per capita in the U.S. is $40k. Argentina and Brazil are around $10k, and Bolivia is around $2k. The average American is 20X richer than his Bolivian counterpart.

Nonetheless, I had heard rumors that Bolivia was great. As an investor, I also wanted to see a country that had proven natural gas reserves that amounted to $50k per person. It was my belief that the average Bolivian could soon be as rich as the average Brazilian.

I wanted to go to La Paz, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz, but Bill was not the traveler I was and we stayed exclusively in Santa Cruz. We boarded an aged LAB (the Bolivian airline) 727 in BA and took off. For the record, Bolivia is a real pain to get to. The only direct flights to Bolivia are from Miami on AA or on LAB.

We got in at night. Getting our baggage and going through customs was the easiest of all the countries I had been to. Medellin and Santa Cruz are the drug cartels two favorite haunts. However, while Medellin is high in the mountains, Santa Cruz is near sea level and is much hotter and more humid: high 80s during the day and low 70s at night.

We stayed at the Camino Real Hotel, which was really a glorified Holiday Inn and being a little tired ventured out on the town. We were near the main square where a huge statue of Christ loomed over the city. A Citibank ATM provided some much needed cash, and we ventured into a steak house. I wolfed down a Waldorf salad and had a thick juicy steak which equaled anything I had in BA, and the service was fantastic. For desert, I had a fruit plate, and let me state unequivocally, that the produce I had in Bolivia was the best I have had anywhere. Eating like pigs in the finest restaurant in Santa Cruz cost all of $7.

Stuffed and tired, we crashed hard. The following day we made arrangements to see local real estate and attempted to open a brokerage account. During the day, we could clearly see Santa Cruz was a 3rd world town. There were many rusted out buildings, unpaved roads, and potholes. Despite the ample gas revenues flowing into the city, people were obviously poor.

However, they had extremely high spirits, and the women were thin, olive skinned, and beautiful. I should point out that the women in Santa Cruz were mostly white and closer to the women of Medellin or BA. That is not the case in La Paz where native Americans predominate. The term for a 10 in Santa Cruz is a "magnifica", and we saw a magnifica or two.

The real estate we saw was nice. In the best neighborhoods, you could build a house for $25 a square foot, so a 5000 sq. foot house would run you $125,000. An acre and a half of land ran about the same $125,000 in the nicer neighborhoods and many nice homes had been and were being built. Someone was raking in some of that gas money.

We headed back to the hotel and went to the business center. During one of the daily electrical blackouts, we started making conversation with Jim, an English lawyer working for BP, and Jose, a Brazilian businessman.

Jim had been in Bolivia for months, and he had come from working in Egypt, which is as uptight of a country as there is. His story of coming from the land of no drink and no skin Egypt to the Bolivian Carnivale with the booze flowing and half naked women had us in stitches. We ate at the same restaurant courtesy of Jim's BP Amex card and went out on the town. Jim had a disdain for working girls so we hit local clubs and drank and danced with the locals.

Of all the countries I have been in the world, I will say the friendliest people I have ever met live in Bolivia. While no one scored that night, we all had a ball. During dinner, we kidded Jim about BP sticking it to the Bolivians, and he got really serious. "No way, I would stick it to these people. I love these people. I want a fair deal for them." After seeing him interact with some Bolivian that night, I believed him.

Frustrated by the lack of amenities of Camino Real, we asked around about better quarters. While Los Tajibos was listed on line as the best hotel, one patron swore by Buganvillas hotel. As it was half the price, we checked it out and like what we saw.

Buganvillas was an Orlando style condo. complex with three pools, an on site general store, and ample parking. For $70 a night, we each got a condo. that was the size of a hotel suite.

After two nights with no action, I was ready for some P4P. The best clubs in town were Curries and Ceasars Palace, and they are right across the street from one another. CP had probably 60 women there and had couches in rooms that could be closed off with a curtain. I got the feeling action could be had in the facility itself, but we decided to go across the street and check out Curries.

It was a good move. Although Curries was smaller and had fewer women, the selection was better. Bill who is not that into P4P was talking to a Bolivian Goddess. While she was a little thick in the hips, from the waist up, she was a legitimate 10. I was not as lucky at first, but when I saw a Brazilian named Silvia giving a lap dance, I knew who I wanted.

Bill speaks much better Spanish than I do, and he chased down Silvia for me. When we were in Brazil, Bill had no problem talking in Spanish to the Brazilians."

However, he told me that he had a hard time communicating with Silvia because of her thick accent. She was extraverted, and I could tell she wanted to get to know me a little before we did anything, but we communicated like a couple of high school freshmen, namely badly.

Nonetheless, I was so hot for this chica that I agreed to pay the bar fine and a $100 tab to take her back to the hotel. Once there, she constantly talked up a storm and I understood maybe one in five sentences. She got undressed and revealed a fantastic figure. Her tongue enveloped mine and then she went down on me with the force of a Hoover. After a few moments of oral ecstasy, she put on the condom and rode me hard. I finally exploded with her screaming in my ear.

I have had very few women who are skilled at all the arts: DFK, BBBJ with DT, and actual sex. Usually, they excel at one or two but not all three. I will say that Silvia ranked among my top 3 of all time.

She kept making comments about leaving, so finally I got out my laptop and used a translation program to communicate with her. I thought I had paid for TLN, but after asking her three times to stay and even offering to pay more, she insisted she had to go back to the club. I had no choice but to let her go.

A $100 for an hour is outrageous in a country where the average salary is less than $200 a month. On the other hand, a top 3 all time girl for a $100 is damned cheap, so I chose to look on the bright side.

The following day we looked into buying condos. at Buganvillas. They had a few for sale, and they were almost always rented out. For the most part, the return on the investment amounted to 5%. That was not a great return for a country as economically unstable as Bolivia.

We hung out by the pool, drank a few margaritas, and ate some unreal chicken sandwiches. The sun was hot, the sky was blue, the Pool was nearby, and the drinks were flowing. Bill said to me, "Man, the only thing missing here is the beach. Otherwise, this place is perfect."

That night, we had a cabbie give us recommendations and cruised the apt. scene but found no keepers.

For a country that is so poor, there were definitely some folks who had packed on some pounds. As Jim the Brit had said, "Shit, there is no hunger here, mate. You throw some seeds in the ground here, and three months later, you got a huge tree bearin' fruit."

For our last day, we wanted to hit a touristy place and headed to the Botanical Gardens. Jim had offered to take us up to some friends of his who owned a sugar plantation in the jungle, but we did not have the time. Apparently, there is a national park five hours from Santa Cruz that is amazing.

Our cabbie told us that Santa Cruz had a water park near the airport, and it was a great place to take in the chicas. While I was tempted to see near naked Bolivian chicas, Bill wanted to check out the botanical gardens.

The gardens were run by a Hungarian couple who spoke great English and offered us a tour. The variety of plant life here was beyond amazing, and I admired this couple immensely. Midway during the tour, we stopped and were offered two bottles of juice. One looked like orange and the other looked like grape. I don't know what they were but they tasted like the nectar of the Gods. I have never had such delightful beverages.

After three days in Santa Cruz, we were ready to leave. The third world conditions had beaten us down and for the most part, we had seen much of the city and were ready to go.

I have to say though that of all the countries in SA, I have a special fondness for this one b/c of the people.

You don't see many Americans in Santa Cruz (When Jim first met us, he thought we might be DEA agents. LOL.) and that may be why I felt it was such an unpolished gem. Santa Cruz is not a top monger spot like BA, Rio, or SP by any means, but if you are into the NLE or near love experience then spending time in SC building contacts could be worthwhile. The women are young, thin, friendly, beautiful, and likely could be had for next to nothing. If you are looking for a possible wife or mistress, I would check out SC and look for a magnifica.

And for all those who asked ¿Por qué Bolivia?, I will answer, "because of the people". I have never seen people with such pure hearts.

DEEP , glad you had a good time. Sounds like a neat place, and relatively unspoiled.

$100 an hour in BOLIVIA??? It seems outrageous and a "she saw you coming a mile away" come to mind. Where there cheaper alternatives? Why did you negotiate TLN and then let her go after an hour? Now shes gonna feel that she can pull that shit with anybody.

I had similar experience finding that many Bolivians wanted what seemed to be absurdly high amounts for a country that poor. I think that it may be because Santa Cruz has so many foreigners. I did ok getting girls from newspaper ads. I paid about $30 and the performances where all stellar, there were some misses looks wise, though.

I don’t speak a word of Spanish and I used a taxi driver to get me one real looker ($100/2hrs). I believe that if you speak Spanish there is a ton of really hot woman for more normal prices.

Knock, that is interesting. I actually went to the private apartments and the women there were all right, but a lot were kind of heavy. Like you, I saw action to be had in the $20 to $30 range. There just wasn't much I was interested in.

Silvia could have been on the cover of Maxim, and there were other guys interested in her at the club. There is no doubt the little head did most of the thinking, but if having some of the best hobbying of my life for $100 means I got taken, then I want to be taken more often.

It wasn't so much the women as the hotels that were outrageous in my mind. For the amount we paid on hotels, we could have had a prime apartment for a month.

The hottest woman I met was a gorgeous MILF at Banco De Santa Cruz. She was professional, intelligent, perfectly dressed, spoke flawless English, and had an unbelievable body.

In the U.S., she would be pulling down at least $100k a year doing the job she had there. In Santa Cruz, I bet she was making $10 to 20k. I think you could find a woman like her and have her as a mistress for a tenth of what it would cost in the U.S. and a third of what it would cost in Brazil.

Great report.

I love Santa Cruz and Bolivia. You have to have a sense of adventure, the best part is not a ton of overweight bald headed Gringo's screwing all the girls!

This report is SPOT on.

P.S. I flew that LAB B-727 and she is now in the desert grave yard as LAB went out of business.

a fellow monger friend( not a CH member) told me that in La Paz and Santa Cruz, some fine chica's can be had for $30 to $40 usd. hotels are dirt cheap too. sounds like a decent low budget mongering destination. a diamond in the rough. does anyone else have any good info on Bolivia?
