Slinking around in Singapore

My biz travel takes me to many monger locations (Columbia, Brazil, Europe, Far East) but often I am with fellow employees to whom I wish to keep my hobby to myself. Consequently I look for in-calls away from my hotel in the afternoons or late evenings. All this limits my options, but the company paid hotel and airfare and frequent monger opportunities make up for this short coming. Cost is necessarily less an issue for me so being in an higher cost locations such as Singapore doesn’t bother me.

The primary options in Singapore are Orchard Tower (building full ofhooker bars with Thai and Flip girls), Health clubs in malls, and Geylang (brothel district). Geylang best meets my needs. This district offers 3 main types of girls: Tai fishbowls, in-call girls, and street girls. I sampled them all on my recent trip.

Geylang seems to be changing with construction of low end hotels appearing to be dislodging some of the fishbowls and incall places. It is hard to tell how new anything is, since there isn’t the high level of maintenance typical of the rest of Singapore, and the new buildings age quickly to look like they’ve been there for 10 years. I also think there are more street girls than on my last trips, often herded along by their pimps/touts. With continued building and the coming of casinos in a couple of years I would expect this trend to continue. However, I am sure the very efficient government will make sure that the red light district carries on.

I take taxies to Geylang which runs about 6sing. I find that it is easiest to queue outside a hotel in the business district to catch a taxi. In these locales it is difficult to flag down one on the street. The queue manager will want to know where you are going, and I always tell him the National Stadium (which is on the way). Once in the cab, the driver will ask you again, and I correct him. Often he will give you some advice on girls which is neither good nor bad and can be hard to understand.

I usually have them drop me off at Lorang 16. The Geylang district is a cross street with that name and the brothels are on the even Lorangs (streets) which are on one side of Gelyang. Lorangs 12 – 20 seem to be the most busy. There is a cross street between 16 and 20 called Westerout which is also part of the scene.

My first night I arrived in Singapore and went to a business dinner. I wasn’t able to cab over to Geylang until after 1 in the morning. The incall locations were closed as were several of the fishbowls so I settled on a street girl through a pimp on Westerout Road. Hotel included it was 80 sing, about $50. Not only is this high for a Thai girl, but the locals get a 40 sing price. I skip being concerned about this.

The hotel was named something like the Fragrance hotel which was a cheap clean room with a shower and tv. It did not appear to be a sex hotel due to lack of mirrors etc. The lights didn’t really dim either.

I had picked a real spinner. She told me her weight was 42 kilos which is around 93 lbs and was believable. She allowed me to take her photo but not without clothes. Street 1 and 2 show her and I think adequately represent her with my small low resolution compact camera.

The in-call places are marked with a red number on a white globe or some such indication. There are a string on 16th street and more on 18th. The Thai fishbowl places are of the same marking but usually have a half wall blocking the open door.

The in-call places have a mamasan or a pimp behind a desk and you tell him what type of girl you want and he calls one on her cell phone. She arrives in a couple of minutes and you usually can reject her and try again. The in-calls offer girls in at least two price bands. The girls are offered to locals at the 80 sing or 150 sing level. The lower price will be Thai girls or Chinese girls over 30. The higher price is younger and prettier. All of the girls come from Maylasia even if Chinese, Thai or Mayla in background. The rooms are nicer, the performance is less rushed and it’s a higher quality session. The gringo price is generally 100/200 so there is a lower mark up than the Streetgirl/Fishbowl doubling of prices. Sometimes there is at least one girl on site, but I’ve never seen one worth doing.

You can find a couple of places where the pimp will offer you a 150 price which is what I found at #12 Lorang 16. I don’t like the mamasans generally, they just seem to be on the girls side of the transaction. Many of the pimp guys are really sleazy but some seem to be interested in you. They all work from the same laminated sheet of phone numbers so it would be only the rooms and the skill of the tout in picking for you that one place offers over the next.

I requested an ethnic Mayla, petite, good service, etc. The gal that arrived, Lisa (name she told me) or Susan (pimp’s name for her) was nice and I went with her. I found her face to be more like a 7 while I am looking for an 8 in any third world line up, though. Her English skills were superior to Streetgirl’s. In the room, which was nice and had mirror clad walls and ceiling, we started with a shower. Her body was almost the exact same one as Streetgirls but with a less nice ass. She didn’t spend a significant amount of shower time soaping my crack so I was guessing that a rim job would have to wait. (In my previous visits to Geyland in-calls this is almost standard.)

Other options would be to get a long time girl in Orchard Tower and also to take a ferry over to Indo for some fun. For those on a tighter leash, Geylang does the job.
