Royalsutton. Thanks for the kind words...and I admit I have had a fucking great time in Medellin. Keep in mind though, I have been there now 13 times. There is no substitute for getting a "lay" of the land...if you get my drift.

I would advise you to read the trip reports here. When I first started going to Medellin, only Wallstreet had posted much in detail. I used his data to get started and then I have added my own experiences to his. I have filed many other trip reports on Medellin, as have a number of other excellent posters on this board. Read them all and get a feel for what is out there.

I know the feeling for going to a new place and it is normal to want to get some numbers and line some things up. But also keep in mind that half the fun is in the exploration. Be an adventurer and see what you find and then write your own trip report to help the next guy. That is really what this board is all about.
