in order to save time and my sanity, i do not use caps when typing ...sorry. i have been to costa rica 4 times over past two years and think it is great. with peso deval i wanted to try the major leagues - BA and am glad i did. been here 2.5 days and after some difficult weather - rainy tues. - today is a beuatiful spring day. on to more important issues.....the reason i love latin culture is the service! whether you are in a restaraunt or looking for a special bar, the commission concept on everything makes for great service. the attitudes in US are so old and stressful that i will not spend money if i do not have to - no clubs, romancing....i save for these trips. now with the peso at over 3.5 to 1 the ba prices are great - from my perspective. i realize not everyone on this board has the same budget but when a drink is 10 pesos and is further divided how can you go wrong.

<hotel etoile is okay....no coffee maker in diplo suite but centrally located for a newbie such as myself. kinda miss the chance for two chicas due to their rules but i can work around that. economy here seems to be stable and people are adjusting to new status.

first night met with two girls who i had contacted on internet....great time at their apartmento...price was so low i had to leave a tip. then went to playwoman, solid gold etc. but had too much tequilla and returned to room for sleep - long ass plane ride from miami catches up to you.

last night playwoman was okay, but when i went to solid gold it was rocking....once again the weather makes a difference as it is warming up....bartenders were great - they work on commission too - explaining rules which i already knew from reports on this board. i am picky about girls i want to spend time or money with and play bored when i am not interested or tell them i am waiting for my girlfriend ....of course this is done respectfully so as not to hurt any one{s feelings...remember the girls network. anyhow a dynamite chica sides up to me and we hit it off. she is shorter than i usually like but had that what can i do to make you happy attitude. not pushy or overly touchy....i do not like to be rushed. the bartenders have a lot of fun with me as i play the dating game. the firecracker and i agree on a price - with the important caveat that i tip if i am happy. back at the hotel i am in heaven. it has been too long since my last trip and i forgot how passionate these latins are. my new amiga has a stunning body ....even after two kids, but it is her attitude that really counts. if you can think about it we did it. dfk daty bbbj and more and more.....it is like we were dating for years. i try a little trick that i discovered....before my trip i used free internet translators to write some stories in english and then print out in spanish....i speak rudimentary spanish ....i watch her eyes glow as she reads and know that tonight my service will be even better because i have given her the menu in spanish! in closing....get your butts to BA while the sale is still on....
