Other than the congestion and stink downtown, I liked San Jose. I liked the Costa Rican countryside even more, and in total went on about seven (7) outings: a few volcanoes,
hot springs,
cloud forest, aerial tram and my favorite the white water river rafting. The Pasquare River is a Class III-IV. It was a blast. This older gentlman in front of me got ejected big time. About 10 minutes later both he and I wound up in the drink. As the "pilot" was saving him first; I was being sucked into a whirlpool and being smashed against some in-animate objects referred to as "rocks".
My sunglasses cracked, my watch cracked and water-logged, but it was my ribs that I thought also cracked (hence the visit to the hospital in Panama City). I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Also, met loads of fun people from The States, Canada, Europe and South America.
On the flip side, met some true "sportsmen" who were telling tall tales of conquest, while ordering their first margarita at 08:00. Or, were molesting staff while drunkedly telling tall tales of fishing conquests, while referring to the waitresses as "Noriega's daughters".
And you say the place has gone downhill?
If it wasn't for the variety in the chicas I wouldn't return to CR, even as a "filler" trip. Too many other places still to discover.
Panama on the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed, and hope doesn't become the same.
A few street shots follow.
Signing out.

jaggerbowski aka Dr J....
Your reports are excellent. Beauty is subjective and many will have comments (both good and bad) on your girls. Aside from that, I am AMAZED that you got all of these girls to pose for photo's.
I know you have more trips up your sleeve that you haven't posted yet.
Many thanks for sharing amigo and looking forward to the future informative posts!!!

Jbowski, you are a true GOD of reporting on this board. If your reports are accurate, though, would seem that spending 3-500 a day in Eastern Europe is a big time upgrade over Central America.
Thanks for your continued excellent reports!
