SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2002

I was going to Pattaya the next day and I didn’t know how long I was going to stay down there. If I liked it I would stay the rest of my trip. If I thought the scene was not too good I would come back to Bangkok. So I decided there were a few places still wanted to see. I still hadn’t found Washington Square, I still wanted to find Spasso Disco, and I wanted to check out MBK.

Washington Square

I had wanted to check out Washington Square the last time I was down in the Soi 33 area, but it started pouring down rain which cut my plans short. This time I decided to take a cab down instead of the SkyTrain. I the driver Washington Square and he didn’t know what the hell I was talking about so I just told him to drive and I would point it out to him. Washington Square is off of Sukhumvit Rd. Head east on Sukhumvit towards the Phrom Phong BTS station. Washington Square is on the south side of Sukhumvit between Soi 33 and Soi 33/1 to the north.

I went in the daytime and not much was happening. I had read that not many tourists venture down this far and that Washington Square is really the center for the local expat community. Drinks and food are cheap. The Texas Lone Star bar serves steaks and Cajun and/or Mexican food is available at the Bourbon Street Restaurant.

Lone Star Bourbon Street

I think there may be some girls available at Washington Square as well, but since I didn’t go at night and I didn’t go inside any of the bars I can’t say for sure. I think I recall reading that the girls in this area were not the highest quality, though. But if you are looking for cheap food and beer and a friendly atmosphere, this place has been billed as the place to go.

If a gay transvestite show is your thing, be sure to check out the Mambo Cabaret at the center of the square. Show times are every night at 8:30 and 10:00 pm. Entrance fee is 500 baht which includes a drink. This place is mainly visited by Japanese tourists from what I understand.

Mambo Cabaret skytrain

After doing some exploring around Washington Square I headed over to the Phrom Phong Skytrain station and headed west, I got off at the Chit Lom station so I could hit the music store at the World Trade Center. But as I was walking towards the exit I noticed a sign that said Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, straight ahead. I remembered that Spasso Disco was in the basement of this hotel so I decided to check it out. I followed the signs and was eventually led into a shopping mall type place. The SkyTrain walkway was attached to this mall and the mall was attached to the hotel. So I continued down as far as I could and I eventually enter the bottom floor of the hotel. I saw a sign that said Spasso but it just appeared to be the hotel restaurant/bar. I walked in to check it out and it didn’t appear to be too big, nor did it appear to be a disco. There was a small pit for a live band, a bar in the middle of the room and some tables are chairs all around. I thought perhaps this was not the correct place and headed over to the elevators which were close by. As I got in another man entered and saw that I was somewhat confused. I was already at the LL or Lower Level and I could not go down any further. He asked if he could help me and I asked about a place called Spasso Disco. He walked out of the elevator with me and pointed to the restaurant/bar I had just been in. He told me it started every night at 10pm but never on Sunday’s, which is what today was. I thanked him for the help and information and he went back to the elevator. I tried to get a picture of the inside but the staff started waving their hands in a flurry as I was about to snap it so I took one of the entrance instead.

Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and Spasso Disco.

The Grand Erawan Hotel is located on the southeast corner of Rajdamri and Ploenchit Rd. Sukhumvit turns into Ploenchit somewhere near the expressway I think. Damn streets changing names! Anyway, from what I can gather Rajdamri turns into Soi Chit Lom north of Ploenchit and that is where the World Trade Center is located. So the World Trade Center is on the northwest corner of Soi Chit Lom and Ploenchit and The Grand Hyatt is directly diagonal southeast across from it. But if you get to the Chit Lom Skytrain station you are practically there. If you can’t go through the mall just get off on the south side of the street and walk around the corner. The hotel is huge will several large Greek style columns in the front.

I didn’t know if I would get back to Spasso, but I know knew where it was. I headed over the World Trade Center next to find the music store Dart and I bought our music from the last time. I was looking for a specific CD, Best of RCA Dance Hits Volume II, but they didn’t have it. I bought some other popular dance music and then had lunch at The Pizza Company.

Oh, I forget to mention this in previous reports. I am pretty much an American food type of guy so I don’t participate too much in the local cuisine while I am in Thailand. I discovered that both The Pizza Company and KFC/Pizza Hut will deliver to your rooms. Just pick up any phone and call 1150 for KFC or 1112 for The Pizza Company. The operator answers in Thai and English so just tell them you want to order a pizza or whatever. They usually have the hotel’s name and address in their computer once you give them the phone number. And delivery is pretty snappy because they come on a motorcycle from a nearby location. It’s all cheap as well. I think I paid something in the neighborhood of 200 baht ($4.65 US) for a large pepperoni and Pepsi. I tipped 20 baht. I think the Pizza Company has better pizza than Pizza Hut so I mainly started ordering from them. It was about the same price. Right around 200-250 baht for a large pepperoni, some breadsticks, and a 1.25 liter bottle of Pepsi. Just so you know, a large pepperoni in Thailand is about the equivalent to a medium or small in America. It’s not that big. I would estimate their large was around 8 to 10 inches.

The Pizza Company is run by The Minor Food Company. They also own all the Burger Kings, Dairy Queens, Swensen’s and Sizzlers. So remember 1150 and 1112 if you are itching for some American food in Thailand.

On the 8th floor of the World Trade Center they have an ice skating rink. If I were little better at ice skating I may have skated for a session. I’d imagine it is a nice way to escape the Bangkok heat. The cost, you ask? For the session and the skate rental, 130 baht or a little more than 3 US dollars!

Now it was time for me to head down to MBK. So I took the SkyTrain west again one more stop over to the Siam Station.

MBK or Mah Boon Krong is on the southwest corner of PhayaThai and Rama I Road. So I guess Sukhumvit Rd, turns into Ploennchit, which turns into Rama I. The Siam Center Mall is directly north of the Siam Station. So you can get off at the Siam SkyTrain Station. Just head west a little ways and you really cannot miss the huge MBK sign or building. There is a huge pedestrian bridge that crosses the major intersection of PhayaThai and Rama I Rd.

MBK dancing

There were some kids dancing in an open area of the pedestrian bridge. I have no idea what the style is called now, (Gosh, I am getting old) but they were doing all these acrobatic type moves, holding themselves up with one arm handstands, etc. If you saw the video from Nelly Furtado in “Turn off the light” I would say the dancing style was very similar.

I finally entered the MBK Center and the place was packed. I found another music store that actually had my Best of RCA Dance Hits Volume II on CD. They also had a bigger selection of music all together so I ended up spending about 3000 baht in CD’s there. I think I came away with about 15-20 CD’s for that much.

I walked around and explored a little more. I must say, I thought the mobile phone craze was ridiculous in America with a different shop on every street corner, but my God. I entered one area which just had row after row after row after row after row after row of mobile phones. And there was no shortage of mobile vendors in other areas of the mall as well. It was just insane.

By now it was getting pretty late. It was almost 7pm and I hadn’t had sex yet. But I still hit a couple of places on the way back to the Grand President. It you head up Sukhumvit Soi 5 there is a Foodland Supermarket just up the Soi on the left directly across from the Amari Boulevard Hotel. It had a small bakery, pharmacy and some of the other essentials you may need to purchase if you have an extended stay in the Kingdom.

Over a little bit on Soi 7 is the Bier Garten. It is small open air beer bar. Several girls were standing out in front and I snapped their picture. As I look back at the picture now I wonder why I didn’t take the girl in front and on the left. I didn’t go in and have a beer, although I probably should have.

SabaiSabai Elysee

On the walk up Soi 11 towards the Grand President I decided to find out what the deal was with the Elysee Club. It was on a small side street on the left hand side of Soi 11. There was a sign that pointed to SabaiSabai Massage and I remember NabiAsia saying it was right next to this place. It was indeed, but it was all closed up and looked as if it had been that way for quite some time.

Prince Cupidy
Girl Bed

I went back to the Grand President to shower up and then I headed over to Cupidy massage at the Plaza Entertainment Complex. The way to get to Cupidy is very similar to my directions for getting to Atami. Take a cab to the Prince Hotel on New Petchaburi road. Most cabbies in the Sukhumvit area will know where it is if you say Prince Hotel, Petchaburi Road. Walk inside the hotel once he dumps you off there and go to the restroom. Then come out. Now if you remember my Atami instructions, you headed down to New Petchaburi and then east. This time, when you walk outside the Prince Hotel, you hang a left and then follow the alley until you reach the garage entrance. Cupidy massage is located on the ground floor just a short walk inside the garage. It is just to the left of a snooker club.

Make sure you tell the papasan that a taxi didn’t bring you and you’ll get the 1500 baht fishbowl or 2000 baht sideline rate. He’ll probably hound you for a tip, or “free money” as I like to call it for doing nothing more than his job. Just brush it aside and say later or just smile and ignore him. Just be aware that they always try to work some kind of angle at Cupidy.

I chose a sideline girl there named Carlot. (I think.) She was 19. I paid up and soon we were on our way up. While she was preparing the shower she showed me how she was learning English and had a Thai to English translation book. After flipping through this book a bit I finally understood why everyone in Thailand speaks such piss-poor English. It’s not because they aren’t trying to learn, it’s because the damn books they are using are teaching them crappy English. If this book is like the others that are Thai to English, it certainly explains a lot. I wish I could remember some of the phrases from the book. I started laughing out loud while thumbing through it because I have yet to meet a native English speaker who talks like the examples they gave in the book.

The session overall was pretty good. The bath was nice. And the sex was pretty good. There was some light kissing and affection throughout the session and overall she was very accommodating.

After Cupidy I went to Nana Plaza. I hit Cascade again looking for the one cute girl in the place and didn’t see her. Then I hit Angel Witch looking for the beauty from last night and again I could not find her. There was one girl at Angel Witch that I could have done, but she didn’t pass the interview because she asked how much I was paying beforehand. So I told her to forget about it.

I decided to hit Cowboy again once again. I hit Long Gun first but didn’t find anyone I was interested in. Same story with Tilac and Rawhide so I hit the Dollhouse. I had stopped into this place almost every day since I had been in Bangkok but had only bar fined one girl from here. That was Tuk from Day 2. She wasn’t there this night so I was ok. I noticed the girl that I thought was kind of cute from a distance but not as cute up close and was debating her. She recognized me from my several visits there. And then there was another girl on stage who I was interested in. She was returning my smiles rather warmly.

It was getting pretty late now. It was close to 1:30am and I needed to make a decision soon. After they finished their dance set they both ended up coming over and I bought them a round of drinks.

We sat together and chatted and before I knew it the lights were coming on and the place was closing. Not really ready to make a decision I bar fined them both. Then I started thinking about what I had done. These girls may not even like each other. I certainly don’t expect them to get into bed together. I will probably end up fucking them one at time while one stays in the living room watching television. Oh well. Fuck it. It was late and it was a great way for me to get in two more sessions.

Photos: B and May 71 72 73 74 75 76 77

These girls were named B and May. B was 22 and May was 23. B had a kid, I would find out later on. Things looked good from the get-go though as B wrapped her arms around May for the pictures and then later May put her arms around B. They showered up (not together) and then I showered and we all got in bed together, which quite honestly was a surprise to me.

May started kissing me while B went down for a BBBJ. May was kissing me very passionately as B was sucking away on the rod providing nothing less than a top notch BBBJ. She was extremely skilled and it felt fantastic.

After a long while of DFK with May and B’s wonderful BBBJ, May hopped on for a ride. She rode me hard for a while and then I switched her over to missionary. We continued to kiss and I noticed B doing some “Eden Club like things”. While May was riding me B was licking my balls while gently massaging them with one of her hands. When I was doing May in missionary she was just massaging the balls. This wasn’t quite like the Eden Club, but it wasn’t too bad either. Not wanting to do the great condom switch like at Eden Club, I decided to do them one at a time instead of intermix them.

After I rolled May over into doggie and had pumped her hard in that position for a while I heard a sound out of her that indicated to me that she had cum. She looked back with a big smile on her face. Her timing was impeccable because I came shortly after that.

I quickly ran to the shower to clean up so I could take B now. When I got back to the bed B immediately got me warmed up again with her terrific oral skills. She got on for a ride before we moved into missionary. Missionary with her was fantastic as we participated in a great deal of kissing. She was little loose in missionary, I assume because of the kid. I did her in doggie for a long time and still wasn’t coming yet. The combination of having just done May and it being almost 4 in the morning may have had something to do with it.

B was a really trooper though. She never complained or asked me to finish. After rolling back into missionary and pumping away pretty hard for an extended period of time, I was finally able to finish. I collapsed on the bed while pouring down with sweat. Man, I was tired.

B got up to take a shower and I followed after she was done. When I got out the girls informed me May could stay long time but B had to go home. That was cool with me and I happily gave B 1500 baht for her services. She earned it!

May and I cuddled up in bed together. Tomorrow I was heading to Pattaya. Thank goodness the Grand President has a late checkout of 6pm….

Thank you !!!

Ten days until I hop a plane for the Kingdom and you are bringing many pleasant memories of prior trips.

I love Thai food ... but there comes a time (usually about a week into a trip) that I get a craving for a steak. I'll be sure to check out the Texas Lone Star. There also comes a time (usually about a week into a trip) that I can wander from go-go to go-go and not see anything that really interests me, where as the first couple of nights in town I see two or three cuties in every bar. What gives with that?

Xen- You are absolutely correct. The Thai to English phrase books translate horribly. They use very old terms or phrases that are never used in conversation in English. Since Thai has no tenses for verbs , they are terrible about past tense etc.Thais speak " pigeon English " because their language is simplified by not using connecting words or obvious pronouns etc. They just do the same in English so it sounds uneducated and not gramatically correct.
What the f**k am I rambling on about !! Your trip report is fabulous and I too am leaving for LOS in 1 month so your report is invaluable. I've been to BKK many times but you are opening new areas for me. Kap Khun Krap !!!!!

Going all the way to Thailand which has the best food in the world outside of Japan and you eat Pizza...say it aint so.

Xenono, you're a dick and I HATE YOU.

By the way, when's the Pattaya stuff coming? :) THAT is a place where I think I'd go and never wanna leave.

By Dickjohnson on Monday, October 28, 2002 - 01:44 am:  Edit

I think Poseidon is still among the best. Followed by Chaopraya 1&2, Emmanuelle etc. Cupidy below that. Never went to Atami.

Thailand has many fantastic restaurants! I never ate American fastfood in Thailand. Shark's Fin restaurant on sukumvit(19?) is great. There's a 24hr 'Seafood Palace' on Sukumvit near Asoke staion that sucks and is a ripoff. Dont go there. Some clubgirls cabdriver will take you there. They overcharged my horny ass.
