The best made plans…

Well it is now Monday 20 and I am back home feeling the Bangkok blues big time. I have broken my resolution to write up my report and to go the gym everyday. Little things like drinking, womanising and having a great …. no an absolutely fantastic time seem to have got in the way. The other problem I had was the DSL access in the room was not good, slow and most of the time I could not access the site to read and post messages, this is true, but even if it went as lightening speeds the first reason holds true. So DSL in GP not recommended.

So my trip report will be limited and in a different format than planned. I will give a blow by blow account for some of the trip but I repeated a lot of things so will give a general report for some days. I also broke the rules and stayed with one girl for 5 nights, no regrets though she was great fun to be with and not what one would expect from all the stories one reads on the boards, but a little more on that later.


Thursday has not too much to report. I did go the gym and then on to the TLR to meet with some fellow mongers. Had a few beers and played pool then went over to the Day and Night bar (I think that was the name), just outside Nana Plaza. A couple more beers here and I am in need of something to eat as the alcohol is going to my head. Had a very good American rice and some Thai pork dish. Left the bar I think around 5pm and went back to get ready for the meeting.

The meeting was at the Mini Me bar behind the Bamboo Bar on Soi 3. Met up with DK and soon there was a good crowd playing eightball chatting and drinking. Made friends here that I would have many a drink with and have a ball in the coming days…cheers lads you know who you are. Mid-evening we wandered off to Nana, more drink, went to a bar in the right hand corner of the second floor, cannot remember its name, but have been here before. It has a glass floor, but for me the girls were not up to much. Next stop Angel Witch, arrived just in time for the show, sat right by the action. The show was great, not sordid and the girls giving there all. After enjoying what was on offer a few of us went over to CM2, my first time. I think it was 160 to get in with free drink, these are expensive, but I liked the place and it was really rocking, had a few more drinks here, my tally for the day getting uncountable. Grace or streets. Full of drink and quite tired I opted for what I thought was a seven at the time and who was coming on strong. Wandered around Emporium next door to Soi 24 for a while and had a light lunch in the food hall there before returning.

WW, I must have just missed you, I got back on the 18th of Oct. I too have been extremely depressed since coming back to the States. I agree that the best go-go the last trip was Angel Witch -- very sexy, black outfits they have there and lots of friendly gals. There were 4 or 5 stunners in there.
