Obsession is a nice club, but it is indeed quite high priced, and if they think you're a mark they will try and pad your bill, be it extra drinks, overpriced drinks, etc. The service is usually excellent but some staff can get a little carried away. Sorry your chica lied to you, but night time price of $65 for a 15 minute privado is actually what they always charge, and the girl offering a BJ with the purchase of two dances ain't the worst deal in the place, though again, there's sticker shock if you have been led to believe something else. BTW, for these privados it's 530 pesos daytime. At a rate of close to 20 dollars a song, these prices aren't too different than anywhere else in North America, and the chicas at Obsession might actually be worth the $$. Especially if they're giving extras with no tipping as a volume discount. STILL too expensive for ME, though!

I don't go there after 7 PM when the cover kicks in, but 20 bucks sounds insanely high. 50 pesos sounds much more like it, and I'd be shocked at them charging more than 100 pesos for a cover charge. Of all the things you mentioned (including a $30 bar fine at the first place), this is what sounds to me like the biggest ripoff you experienced. Just curious, but what night of the week was it? Musta been Saturday?
