I have visited Poland 4X now. It gets better ever time, especially lately, that their economy is taking a bit of a licking.
I met a girl (during a train ride) there that I see every chance I get, but that is not saying much. She is both hot & a decent woman.
My friend got "canned" from his job in Warsaw and was totally devestated, both mentally and financially.
I am going back next summer alone, for all the right reasons.

Romania, I have a soft spot for. The poor time with my buddy necesitated a return which I did the follwing year. See my report. I will go back soon, simply because I love the place and love the women more.

Moscow, what can You really say! Putting the expense issue aside (if you can, but you must!); it is one of the great mongering destinations of the world. I can't wait to go back.

Sorry for the lack of pics. Most of the time I was video taping. Must learn how to record the VHS format tapes onto discs. I use "Studio 9" software. Any advise?

Moscow is most intriguing but seems so expensive. The girls you posted from Romania look like bonafide hotties. What was your thought on Bucharest overall? Would you recommend it as a destination to monger?

Mr. Surferr3,

Overall Bucharest is a mongering paradise esp. with the right connections.
The prices are in-line (for Europe anyway!).
Knowing the language is a non-issue.
In my case, the driver/guide from this trip, I met working in the hotel the following year, and he was invaluable in ensuring I got who & what I wanted.
Go if you can; before it becomes like Western Europe.

J: IYHO, what would be better for a first time visitor to that part of the world, Poland or Romania. I have been told Poland is great, and English is widely spoken, not so in Romania. And where are the girls generally friendlier? I guess I'll have to get a pretty good Polish/English dictionary for the casas!

Mr. Furysys,

A tough question!
Re Poland: Yes, Poland is great & English is widely spoken, but only by the "young" and only in the major cities.
Friendly, sure, but not "desperate for tourist dollars friendly"!

Re Romania: Two trips do not make me an expert. Of all my dates (5), only one couldn't speak English, but she was fluent in Italian. P.S. Those two languages are very similar.
Friendly? A little more inclined to be friendly for "$$$" IMHO.

They are not that far apart by air. Why don't you consider visiting both, unless you plan to check-out one or the other, in detail?
