Hotel limo was v. smooth and not too dear ($10 uSD). On the way to the aiport I saw a lone stunning streetwalker, off Avenida Chile at 5:30 just as dawn was breaking. What a life! The image of her remains with me to this day.
Check-in quick, paid the departure tax, and by the gate listened to a violinist and cello player. A civilized touch for TAM. Too bad it was a bad omen.
It was raining in B.A. when we landed. The layover was only 45 minutes. The flight to Montevideo was even shorter where it was raining heavier.

I was impressed with this town and have noted to return someday soon. Women had style and dressed well. The city has beaches.

Booked the return to B.A. on the "Buquebus" ferry for $ 57 USD in 1st.
My bags were located by this time, but wouldn't arrive till the morning. Bought some supplies to compensate. Took a cab to "Convencion" for a light dinner, and then another to the "Bicos Club".
