This is going to be a really short Rio trip report, I was in brasil for 11 days, back in August. I only went to Help 2 or 3 times and I went to 4x4, twice. I was very busy, dating 3 regular girls, so I had very little time for the monger stuff, sorry.



Dude your old! - I decided to name this trip report "Damn Dude! Your old!" because of a really odd situation I experienced. A little background info: Whenever the girls ask me how old I am, I jokingly tell them "I am old enough to be your father" I don't know why I get such a hoot out of saying that, but it cracks me up all the time. Truth be told, the only way I could have been their father's age, is if I started fucking at like 12 years of age. Well on this occasion, things weren't quite as funny.

I had two girls from Karla Models come over one afternoon to my apartment. In the middle of the encounter, I asked one of the girls how old she was, she told me that she had just turned 18, two months earlier. (She started working at the agency 2 weeks after her 18th birthday) For some reason, I sub-consciously calculated the difference between our ages and I shockingly realized, that I actually was old enough to be her father!! Granted, I would still have been a young man (a sophmore in college).

For some reason this thing hit me like a ton of bricks, I couldn't even complete the session. The three of us just sat around and talked and joked for the remaining hour. Once they left, I took a shower and then looked at myself in the mirror like "Dude. What the hell was that all about? Whats wrong with you?" The strangest part of the whole thing was, I wasn't sure what it was I was feeling. I didn't know if I felt like a dirty old man for being with a girl so young, if I was embarrassed because I am getting older, etc....

Even now, I still haven't figured out why this experience affected me so strongly, I am still trying to get my head around it. Its like, if I cant handle this now, how will I be able to deal with the age difference when I hit my 40s, 50s and 60s? Maybe another monger can counsel me on this, I doubt if I am the only guy who has felt strange about the fact that he is having sex with a girl, who is young enough to be his daughter.



True Colors - Does anyone remember that Cyndi Lauper song "True Colors"? I loved that song. Well I was singing that song all up and down Copa because I was in Rio when the girls heard the announcement of the VISA program. I saw 3 girls grab each others hands and start jumping up and down and laughing/crying (You would have thought they had just been freed from slavery) One girl, literally 3 minutes after hearing the news, declared that she was calling her lawyer the next day, to start working on her divorce. When I asked her why, she responded "Well I dont need him anymore, now I can go to the United States all by myself!" I jokingly told my friend at the table "Well, I guess it didnt take too long for her true colors to come out!" (Over the next couple days, about 6 married GDPS, repeated the same thing)

A number of the girls in the termas mentioned that they wanted to go to America, so they could earned money by stripping. They had heard that they could earn as much as 2 thousand dollars a night for just dancing and they were all making their travel plans. It was like "NYC, VEGAS, MIAMI! HERE I COME!!!"


Not hearing what you hear - I had a gdp in my apartment who while listening to my ipod asked me "if I had the song that had her name?" She said there was a song that she absolutely loved, that was named "Amanda" . I kept telling her that I didnt know any song named Amanda, but she insisted, she said "They play it every night in Help" When I asked her to sing the song, she started humming along until she hit the chorus. I cracked up laughing! I told her "Sweetheart, they are not saying Amanda, he is saying I wonder!!" Because the singer wasnt phonetically saying the "er" portion of the word, it came out sounding like "I wondah"!

Want to test your portugese skills? Try translating a rap song into portugese! HAHAHA! Cant tell you how many times the girls will ask me "What is he saying?" And I will sit there racking my brain trying to figure out of to translate his lyrics.



Hide my head in the sand! - Had an embarresing & funny experience happen to me while I was out on a date with a regular girl. I had been playing the whole "I am so innocent. I only come to Rio to visit family" role with this girl. On our third date, we went downtown to visit Club 6. While standing in the VIP line, all of a sudden I hear "THUMPER, THUMPER!" I looked to the front of the line and there are 3 4X4 girls, calling my name!! I was so busted! 2 of them actually walked back from the front of the line to give me hugs and kisses. I introduced them to my date and then we all went inside. My mind was racing, trying to figure out how I could explain to this girl, how I knew the gdps. Oddly enough, she never questioned me about it and I stil got laid that night. HAHA!

Well pal, you're not THAT old if you don't remember "Amanda" from the Third Stage Album by BOSTON released in 1986. Actually, I think it was released as a single in 1980 but what's the point of splitting hairs?

If I'm not mistaken I seem to recall hearing them play "Amanda" at HELP as one of their grab ass slow dance songs.

Regarding your other question, I can certainly relate. In July I brought Grace (Gleyce)Kelly home from HELP only to realize that she was born in 1986. That's a 25+ year age difference. Her birthdate was significant to me because it happened to be the same day that I got my first company car!!!

But ya know what Thumper? You are as young as you feel. You know good and well that GDPs' don't care how old you are so why should it make a difference to you? If you really felt as old as it says on your driver's license, you would not be a monger. This sport (hobby) is as much about "state of mind" as anything else. We all engage in it because it gives us a "little something" we need once in a while. So embrace your youthful state of mind and celebrate it with an 18 y.o. garota. AMEN! I'll admit to being more than a bit bemused by your reaction to the age difference you found with some of the GPs. I regularly session with girls who could easily be my grandchildren! Does it bother me? No. The important distinction is that they are NOT my grandchildren. Now, I'll also admit that I find it a lot harder having a conversation about anything other than fucking with an 18-year-old than I do with a 24-year-old. Almost without exception, the women I invite to dinner, to clubs, and to spend the night are in their 20s. I often am bored with the 18-year-old ten minutes after I come in her mouth. But those young ones are often fun and enthusiastic.

I think I finally figured out the source of my discomfort, it has to do with a series of ugly events about a decade ago. There used to be a young chicklet girl who sold gum at Meia Pataca. Now even though this girl was only 14/15 years of age, she already had a serious booty. It was quite apparant, that one day she would have "The Ass of Brasil on her!"

I remember seeing guys in their 30s, 40s and 50s asking her when her birthday was. When she would tell them, they would tell her straight to her face "Ok good, because I am going to return and I am going to fuck you on your birthday when you turn 18!!" They would say this to a 15 year old girl!!! Scarey thing was, they had absolutely no shame or problem with talking to a minor this way!!

Even though I was a newbie, I still felt disgusted and horrified that these "old" men could be so piggish and dirty to a little girl! (These were men of all colors and races) I even said something to one of the guys about his behavior. He didnt even bat an eye, he was like "Listen. Do you think she is going to be selling gum forever? Eventually, she will be selling her ass, just like all the other girls out here. She is around this place evey single day, nothing but whores and tourists, its in her blood. I am just marking my place in line!"

That bothered me for years and I vowed that I would never conduct myself like those guys. I think the fact that I am no longer one of the "young" Americans and that I am actually old enough to be some of these girls father, finally hit me. I will see if its still a mental block when I return in a few weeks.

Your short report sure hit the spot. Many of us have felt the same way with younger girls, and to tell you the truth, it doesn't get any better with age. Not to make you feel badly or anything like that, but once I met Fawn's grandfather and he was two years younger than me. That was a shocker that I still have nightmares about.

We all have moments that we are struck by our own mortality, bench marks when we realize that we are old enough to...or two old to..., as you get older these events become more and more frequent, unfortunately.

As for the story about the 15 year old girl, those guys are assholes. We have all bitched and moaned about girls who become hardened, its guys like these who are responsible, they treat these girls like slabs of meat. There is some truth to the old axiom "treat a lady like a whore and a whore like a lady." treating working girls with respect pays dividends.

Well, not to defend the guys hitting on chicklet girls, but I doubt if having gringos making comments to them is the low point of their day. Sleeping on a piece of cardboard, scrounging for food, barely able to read and write, getting drugged up, - I would say that has a bit more impact on them then some jackoff from NYC.

And, as a general rule, if they're selling gum on the streets when they're 12 they will be selling their asses when they're 18. Simple fact.

I'm always uncomfortable around the guys who are always harping on the "fresh" girls. If a guy is licking his lips on getting a girl who's 18 years-1 day old, he probably has few reservations about jumping the gun a bit, or a lot, if he thinks he can get away with it.

Most vets have been approached by young garotas at one point in time or another. We know they are out there working with fake IDs and some not even that. "I left my ID at home" is the almost 100% guarantee that the girl is under 18 and I think that anyone who's spent an evening at TA talking to girls has run into that comment.

You are right Catocony, they do have much bigger issues in their lives. I just felt really offended and sickend to see the tourists behavior. I can only imagine how they would react if they caught some guy following their teenage daughter home from school and speaking to her in the same manner.

Hey Thump. Don is handling the Cassia fund now. It is still fully intact and only the interest is being spun off to Brenda. It covers the cost of her school (little better than just normal free public school) clothes and gifts at christmas/b-day etc.

Many guys continue to contribute which means more money can be spun off to her on a monhly basis. Don has done an excellent job of keeping her above poverty level and has gone into his own pocket many times for things. When she and her grandmother visit on Sundays, he always pays for their meals.

As far as feeling old, welcome to the club buddy but then again, I haven't been with anybody over 25 in almost 8 years now.

Cassia worked at 4x4 and was murdered (shot) one night when getting into a taxi out in front. Most likely a jealous cop client, of course no investigation was ever done. Sandman and Don started a fund for her daughter, Brenda, to pay for school and whatnot.

I believe she was shot in front of her apartment while getting out of a cab, not in front of 4X4, but I wouldn't bet the farm on that.

I'm bettin' the age difference between you and your partners will continue to grow unabated.

as to your question re: age, it is natural that this happens when you are relatively younger (in one's 30's). the same thing happened to me.
in u.s., i was 32, started dating a fine, fine african american chica. went to her house and met mom. yep, you mathematicians can already guess, mom was 32! i not only did the math but asked embarassing questions of my gf, like how old was your mom when she cinceived? etc.
now, it didn't 'freeze' me at any important moments, but it stuck with me.
then i turned 40 and it was not on my mind anymore, as i'm sure you'll expereince about an hour after you get off the plane in brazil when you go back.
FYI when chicas now ax me how old i am, i just tell them i can't count that high in spanish. oddly, that get's mucho laughs. but as someone else said here, they really don't care about our age.

hey do you think the whole thing about the visas will affect the way things are down there? it should still be pretty hard for any of the girls to aquire a visa, right? i hope it does'nt affect anything because i'm going on my first trip in the middle of january and from what i've read i'm hoping it'll be the best trip i've ever taken. only other place i've been is costa rica. by the way the story on cassia is realy realy sad. i hope the best for her daughter.

Mixalot, if Brasil gets added to the Visa Waiver program, then that's it - they don't need to acquire a visa. As long as they have a return ticket, they're pretty much free to enter for 180 days a year, 90 day per stay max. Standard questions as always but as long as they say they're coming for tourism and have an address where they're staying, that and the return ticket is all they need.

wow! that sucks! so does anyone know when this might happen or the chances of this happening? i would think, that if this does happen then the prices that the girls charge are going to go straight up. it may not be worth even going down there anymore. man, i'm going on my first trip in january and i hope this doesnt F up my whole trip now. should i rethink this trip? ok, last question, so catocony by you saying that "thats it" do you mean that brazil wont be worth going to anymore in your opinion? Why would prices in Brasil go up? Garotas have been going to Europe and everywhere else for years.

And the "that's it" part was referring to the visa. The name is literal - "visa waiver". Thus, the need to obtain a visa is waived. They fill out a different I-94 that basically just asks for the address in the US, duration, return flight info. The regular I-94 is much longer and asks about the visa that they have.
