I’m writing this on the morning of day 2, from my room at the Etoile Hotel. I won’t spend a lot of time in this space talking about the suite, but I’m in a diplomatic suite and very pleased overall with the rooms for $187p +VAT. The décor is a bit dated but overall very nice. There is an entry salon or greeting room with a table and chairs, couch, bar/counter, and a minibar. Down the hall is the living room with couch, 4 chairs, and television. Beyond the living room is the bedroom with the usual furniture and a balcony. The bed is small but I found it to be comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The best part of the room is the bathroom, with separate shower and toilet areas, marble tiling, and a Jacuzzi bathtub that can easily fit 3 to 4 people. However, the guest policy dictates only one guest at a time, so I may not be able to fully utilize the best feature of the suite. Just last week I was emailed an ad for a pair of 22 year old blonde identical twins on Platynum (las melizzas I think), so I am going to try to bribe the night staff at least once while I’m here. The staff at the front desk, security department, restaurant, room service, and housekeeping have all been incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay so far. I think I’m in love with the tall sandy blonde room service waitress, that is as sweet as candy. I will post photos of the room on CH upon my return.
I live in the Midwest, and fly out of Detroit, so my travel time was a little over 23 hours by the time I reached my room (imho) time well spent to get to heaven. I had to finish a project I was working on, so I worked all night Sunday, and slept only 3 hours prior to leaving. So, being exhausted already, of course I was unable to sleep on any of my flights. The final leg from Miami left around midnight, and took 9 ½ hours. On the flight from Miami, there were literally dozens of beautiful women; all but 2 of them went through the Argentina national’s line at customs. Upon arrival, I avoided the cambio at the airport after breezing through customs and immigration, and found my driver that had been pre-arranged by Mayra (thanks for the tip Saint!) Smooth ride to the hotel except the driver had no idea where the Etoile is, so he stopped for directions twice before getting close. In fact, I pointed it out to him when we got close. I’m glad I studied the home page on there website. Anyway, I paid the 45p plus tip in US ($15) for what turned out to be an hour’s ride from the airport, since I hadn’t changed any cash yet.
This is my first trip to BA (second scheduled for Thanksgiving week), and I have read everything posted in the BA sections since fall 2001. I have done my research, and have a good plan to hit most of the regular spots, and make use of the internet girls, and Newport girls for my activities. All in all not a bad first day considering how tired I was and the deviations from my original plans. My advice stay flexible. Contrary to the experiences of some as reported, so far my internet girls have been pretty satisfying, and I’ve had no trouble contacting them.
