This summer, I had a few lovely lasses from Argentina and Costa Rica visit me here, in EU. A really fine and dandy time we had.
BACKGROUND: I never entertain local outcalls to my flat here in London. If need be I partake in visiting some of the lasses in their own abode in an incall. Early this year, I got visible exposure on the tele. while the verall press was not bad for myself or the firm, it had consequences - one of my favourite lass, recognized, forcing myself to further fine- my puntering habits.
THE LASSES: I had enjoyed company of two chicas from Buenos Aires [ see earlier reports ] and a tica from Costa Rica, who I had partaken the company of many years ago. Over the years, I had come to like this tica - she was the first tica I knew who had an email address, an internet clue and did not have any other standard exploitative gene . I knew she had a job which was quite decent. The lure of a trip to London was too much of refuse. Knowing very well that she had long stopped entertaining people, I still desired her.
THE DANCE: I had her email and phone number, so on a short trip to SJO I asked her of the idea if she would like to see Londres {London} Paris if I sent for a ticket.
LOGISTICS: Argentinian and Costarican nationals do not require Visa for for UK or Schengen countries. Costa Rica was a slight hassle because of transit through US. SJO-LHR-SJO via MIA was approx 470GBP using a bucket-shop here in London.
LONDON: I woke up early on Saturday, rushed to the airport with miniutes to spare, as the flight was listed as having landed. I had previously emailed her to travel light given that she had to change planes - Misplaced luggage is something I've seen a lot of people go
totally bonkers. The usual hassles, it took her approx one hour to negotiate through the process, once out of customs, I did'nt even wait for her to look around. As soon as I saw her, I grabbed her and headed to the bus. Just as the bus was about to reach our destination, she started sobbing - We got down, and had strange looks from a few folks.
back in the flat she gave another hearty sob - She never could believe of one day taking a trip this far. I let her wash up and take a nap. That evening, I took her to SoHo, walked around, took her to a nice dinner. Since I had known this tica since 'eons, and kept in touch off and on - I'll refrain from commenting on our first prelude in London and subsequent explorations.
FINANCIALS: I gave her my spare mobile and 30GBP for spending everyday. Each evening, I left an hour early from work, took her places, shopping. One night to a musical. Every evening there was some little things I bought her. When she returned home, she was carrying an extra suitcase as checked baggage. I gave her 300GBP for dutyfree shopping.
REFLECTIONS: Where does one draw the line between GFE and LongTermExperience. Some people get really emotional and loopy when something extra-ordinary occurs. This is one classy tica - Who gave everything while in LON; but had stopped since the past five years freelancing. When she did freelance, she was unlike what I've seen at BM or Key Largo or BBC while it was around. Oh! Well.......

A small point, the saying is "carrying coals to Newcastle" For those that do not know what that means it reflects the fact that Newcastle was the coal mining center of the UK. Carrying coals was a totally unnecessary.
But having a GF fly over to London & Paris sounds like a great idea if you can afford it. I have about 300,000 FF miles, maybe I could import one of my friends from Thailand.

You are right I could not find something appropriate for London. One hour in LON is between 115-200GBP, and long term is higher.
