First, I forgot to mention in my post for last night that I did stick around Playwoman long enough to watch some of the show. Andrea told me (before I shooed her away) that on busy nights she also performs for the show. Judging from the way she danced around me trying to make eye contact, I'd have to say she probably is worth sticking around to see. Please understand that in Buenos Aires, a man needs to adjust his rating scale and be more critical. There are just so many beautiful women, and not nearly enough time for me to get to know them all. I've never wanted to be independently wealthy more than I do right now. I could easily spend several months at a time here, and I don't think I'd ever get bored or disillusioned. Also, the tall blonde in the show at Platynum is one of the wildest looking women I've ever seen, and she has all the right moves and equipment. Anybody who has seen her can confirm this opinion. However she was not on the takeout menu. The show was worth watching, but when the big muscular guy with the model's face got on stage, I decided it was time to go. Karina told me he's gay; I don't care, and don't want to know. I hired a taxi this afternoon to take me to the internet café, and had asked him to return for me in a little over an hour. I gave him 10 pesos for a 3 peso trip, and he returned 10 minutes before he was due. He came in to the café and tapped me on the shoulder, and he had no problem waiting in the taxi while I finished the email I was writing, and paid my bill. The cost for an hour and a half of internet access plus 2 very good and strong cups of coffee, and 2 pastries was 7 pesos (less than $2 US). When the driver dropped me off at the hotel, he refused any more payment saying that I am too generous. I have not experienced this kind of friendliness and honesty in a taxi driver anywhere else. All of the drivers I've had have been over the top friendly and courteous and friendly.

Having returned from a trip downtown, I have to say I've never seen more beautiful women on the streets in any city I've ever been in. My neck hurts from turning around to get a better look so often. It is hell getting old, but life is very, very good to me right now.

Ok, I got an hour of sleep after posting the last report, a steamy shower, and decided on jacket and tie tonight for my trip downtown, so I feel almost human again. I'm off to search for Valerie, or Esy's Silvia at Hook. I plan to also visit Ness and Catoo's, if I strike out at Hook. If all else fails, I will try Shampoo on my return to Recoleta. Wish me luck.
