Here is my experience for what it is worth. My hope is that you can read this and use the information to be safe and have fun.

I checked in to the Sleep in ($25 US fee to bring a girl into the room) and went to the Blue Marlin (BM). Lots of women all asking for $100. Some would not budge, but most would. Grabbed a girl and well you know the rest. Gave her 2000 clones for cab fare even though the BM was twoo feet away.
Tried New Fantasy and it was the best on the whole trip. You can do a half hour for $20 US dollars (10,000 colones). They give you a room, massage and steam bath if you are inclinded. I wanted sexo only and thirty minutes was plenty. It is $40 for an hour. Once this place gets known they will raise the prices. You look at the girls through a one way window...I just went in and pointed to the chica.

Zona Blue turned me off and was about twenty dollars more.

Stayed at several hotels on this trip amd learned that for older men like me a nice room is essential and the Sleep Inn is expemsive, but the security and rooms make life very easy here. The Amom Plaze, Don Carlos, Cstillo, Hemingway, La Armistad, Marazon, and Sportsmaną„s lodge and many others are all Hotels all to themselves with different atmospheres. YOU MUST ASK IF THEY HAVE A CHICA FEE AND THEY WILL TELL YOU. SOME DO NOT LET CHICAS IN THE ROOM! SO ASK FIRST. Most have web sites that make them appear better than they are.

The Key Largo accross from the Blue Marlin which is a bar in the hotel Del Ray, is for Chicas that start at about $50, but will do 30 or less depending on how much they need they money.

There are so many cities and so many places that I cannot write about all of them. But there are many clip joints too that say they are upscale clubs....watch out.

try the presidente next time , no chica fee.
