I knew that my last day would not include late night partying as I had to wake up at 4am for a 6am flight to Bogota via Houston via LAX. Decided to see the central part of the city and the fairly touristy "Walled City". It's amazing how beautiful the city is and how well preserved the buildings are inside the walls. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site but I dont understand what good it does to preserve an area when the area is overloaded with cars and vendors. It realy takes away from how nice the place is and the vendors are even more pushy than the fuckwads on the beach. I decided to do what I normally do in a vendor overload area(see Fields Ave and the tshirt/viagra vendors)...I put on sunglasses and my ipod and pretend they dont exist.







Tu Candela is the middle building with the blue/purple/lavender colors. Several bars withing a block of this area, including Isis.



Bought some Colombian cigars and Ron Medellin at the grocery store. Arrived at Hollywood Beach at about 1pm and Tony had a nice young girl ready for me under an umbrella. Told him that I wanted to chill for a while first. Better to drink and kick back a bit while checking the prospects out. That way, Tony cant push the bullshit beach lady drinks on you while you drink 3,000piso beers($1.50). I figured out his game and it pissed him off. He told me on my last day in Spanish, "If all of my customers were as smart as you, I would be broke" I know the guy needs to make money and I usually only spend about $30 for 5-6 hours of drinking and kicking back with hot girls so I just think of it as a cheap tax for having a guy that supplies serious hotties. In the end we saw eye to eye and everything worked out. Asked Tony to show me the girls ID and it showed that she was 18 as of June. She has a really young face so had to make sure. As soon as we started chatting, I could tell right away she was from Medellin by her sweet and fun demeanor. I have always said that Filipinas make up for their looks with their fun-loving and sweet demeanor. Colombian girls have the same demeanor. Mexican girls could learn a thing or two from their SA sisters.

Finally negotiated 100,000pisos($50) for 6 hours and we were off to the apartment. I had a tough time understanding all the different accents from Paisas to Costenos but after about 2-3 hours you can pick up on the style and cadence of their accent and everything is understood. This girl looked innocent but had a tongue ring and was real nasty once in the apartment. We made out on the balcony and made our way to the shower for some shower BBBJ action. She responded great to DATY and her bald pussy felt pretty damn amazing on my tongue. She put the pillow on her face to muffle the screams and we fucked for about 30 minutes before finishing.

Decided to watch the sunset at one of the local fish restaurants and the girl can really put down the food. I ordered a whole fish and she picked out bones from the fish and fed me while watching the sunset. We took a walk on the beach(even I can be romantic once a year or so)and strolled back to the apartment. We attacked each other once inside and I ended up banging her with her shirt and shoes still on. Standard perfect session with me finishing with a BBBJCIM. Chilled in the room watching some Latin soaps and soccer before falling asleep. Woke up around 9pm and went for DATY for one last session. You really are a vet traveler, b/c my first few trips to CTG were spent reinventing the wheel. Took me at least 3-4 trips to get the lay of the land. As much as I travel elsewhere, there has always been something really alluring about CTG that makes it really comfortable for me... good friends, friendly locals, beautiful city, etc. You did extremely well this trip and I'm glad to hear there will be future trips for you.

BTW: many gals that stay in CTG keep losing/changing their numbers, but Tony usually has all the updated numbers or can locate a gal for you. I can tell Tony likes you b/c he offered up his A-list to you; he doesn't do that for the "cheap guys". Also, once Tony imbibes more than 3 Cuba Libres, ask if you make a call on his phone, and start jotting down as many gal numbers as you can

The vendedores and the beggars in centro can be very annoying. I think that the city realizes that this is a problem. There have been times that the old city is swept clean of these types a several days at a time. Damned if I know why this isn't done on a permanent basis.

The city does limit car and bus traffic in centro. At times they close the entire walled area to any vehicular traffic. Those can be special times.

Also, ctg has alot more to offer than tony and ldv. I'm surprised you didn't do the casas, and other late night club venues. There are some gr8 finds there, and they have the days free for 'dates'.

Dont have a problem with that per se but considering you dont post photos or trip reports, the rest of us cant make those same comments. Considering you likely have a library of 5,000 photos from around the world, not sure why you dont post them(and I dont mean herpes photos)

As for the late night places, if you read the report you know that I did spend a few nights at Tu Candela and Isis(likely wasnt there when you were there last). Another bar next to Tu Candela as well. I went three nights and never saw a cute girl or a girl I clicked with. LDV is a bit much and the girls are pros but there are a lot of part-timers you can find there and I noticed different girls every night(albeit a few hardcores in the same spot). Both of my choices were fun in LDV and one was fantastic. It also was 50 feet from my apartment. I am more of a daytime guy and hate going out at 12am, which is when the bars get started. Going to bed at 7am every night was getting tiresome.

As for the casas, there are only two now that I see consistently have talent according to other boards. They also are not that great of a value. I will definately try them out on my next trip. Even though its a shitty beach, I still like hanging out at the beach during the day and Tony did me right in the end. There are very few options in CTG but after a couple trips, you can get so many contacts that you dont even need to go out. I definately made some mistakes on my first trip but thats what happens when you are discovering a place.

Thanks Blazers. I have read up constantly on CTG as this is a destination I definitely want to hit at some point. I think you have the right idea of scouting and setting up contacts for repeat visits.

I'm normally in bed by 8:00 pm every night. All you really need to do is hang around the restaurants. They will find you. Just make eye contact and smile.

as for photos, i hardly take any theses days and i usually accidently erase them or something goes wrong with them....mx and crazier can attest to that as all my china pics were lost on my virgin trip over there. btw, re photos in colombia. At least one CH member here can't re-visit an entire city because he got burned down there. Also, i'm not sure if this is true, but a friend who lives in ctg told me that because of racey photos taken by an umv? member at riquisimos a few years ago, a "hit" was actually put out on him. perhaps one of the ctg experts can comment on that.

Hit might be a bit strong, but it became much more difficult to get photos after that. And I was burned as well. As much as I like to take and share photos, I came to the conclusion that it is better to keep the identifiable photos of chicas off all public sites. Cartagena is a very small town for us, and I lived there.

Blazers thanks for the great report and the fantastic photos...very nice job. Ctg is on my list having been to Mde and Cali this year. I'm looking at another venture in June but me thinks the weather may be to uncomfortable in Ctg at that time.

Actually May is the hottest month of the year in CTG. Feb. and March are the best months. It can even be downright pleasant at night.

I am in panama Thinking of going to colombia in a few days.Can I get your info on where you stayed and what the deal is and where to find your friend Tony? You think it is ok for White american who does not speak spanish in Cartahina Colombia?

Being a white American is a bonus but not speaking Spanish will make your trip frustrating. Even for those of us that speak at a lower advanced to fluent level of Spanish have a hard time as the accent is really strong and the cadence is totally different than Mexican Spanish.

You can find rooms in the same building at the web site discussed in my first chapter.

Tony is located at Hollywood beach and if you're white or looking like a tourist, he will find you.

I spoke very little Spanish on my first trip to Cartagena and managed to find love without being mugged. CTG is very used to tourists.

Well you can find love but your trip is greatly diminished if you cant speak to the chicas. None of them speak ENglish to my knowledge but I dont really know as I didnt speak English the entire trip. I did try to speak English a couple times to taxi drivers and with airline personnel but they spoke zero English. IMHO, yor experience with the chicas will increase 10 fold by knowing the language but its not totally mandatory.

Lots of tourists in CTG but rarely do you see an American tourist unless they are sex tourists(which are few) so nearly all of the tourists either speak Spanish or Italian. The only American tourists I saw on my flight were Colombians returning home or visiting.

Bkolbar, that was how I was when I first went to Costa Rica (2005), when I came back home, I made it my business to learn Spanish as much as possible. It adds infinitely to your trip. You'll certainly have no problems (they love gringos), but understanding each other afterwards can make it lots of fun. When you look in their eyes, you get LOTS of incentive.

This report has inspired me to go to Columbia. I dont speak Spanish, well, maybe a few mispronounced common words. However, you can always get by with an electronic translator.

As for sex and no English, it doesnt matter. Sometimes its better for them to know no English because they wont give you excuses to bolt out.

I thought some of the women in this report could probably be on a magazine somewhere like Playboy or Hustler. If Blazers had a studio setup in that little apartment with a DSLR and lighting, I bet you those pictures could probably be thrown on a mag.

Another thing that impressed me about this report was that it seemed very well rounded. Beach, site-seeing, partying and finally chicas. You can get back to America feeling like it was an all around adventure versus just banging. Although, nothing wrong with just a bang brothers type adventure. ;)

The only thing I have against this report is that the photos could sure use a little more nudity. ;)

Good luck getting hot Colombian girls to take nude photos without speaking Spanish. I tried bribery and couldnt get one of them to take nude photos. If you go for mediocre looking girls, they will do nude photos. When I mentioned nude photos, they just said "internet, internet, blah blah blah" I am telling you that not understanding Spanish will cause you headaches....we are talking zero English. I speak fluent Spanish and still had a hard time trying to understand their accent. Even at the airport, nobody spoke English, not even the check in counter.
