What I Liked:
I think the best thing about Thailand is the variety of experience. For venues, you can party in a go-go bar, hang out in a beer bar, peruse the streets, bars and discos looking for a freelancer, or pick a girl out of a fishbowl and get a nice massage and bath before doing the deed. So whatever the mood, there's a good quantity of suitable venues. Places I've been in LatAm aren't quite this way, although I've never been to Rio.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety of women. I had a predisposition that all Thai women would be petite and lack curves. While most women were this way, I was impressed with the diversity of physical characteristics in Thai women. I saw dark-skinned ladies with big brown eyes, Chinese/Japanese-looking women with lighter skin and smaller eyes (which I really like), taller women (not ladyboys…although there were plenty of those if you're into that sort of thing), shorter women, and even a J-Lo booty on one girl I took. Damn, that was nice. So while the majority of women were physically what I expected, the quantity of women working led to a good availability of diverse physical characteristics.
There's even variety of environment. Bangkok is a mega-city, while Pattaya is a small beach town. I didn't make it to Phukett, but I understand that it too has its own unique vibe. Certainly some LatAm countries have the same environmental variety, but I am not sure that they have the corresponding volume of activity. In this way Thailand was unique, and I really enjoyed that element.
What Had Me Struggling:
While I really enjoyed the Thai people, the obvious truth is that their language and culture are completely new for me. I am a Spanish speaker, and have always mongered in Spanish speaking countries. I also grew up Catholic, and although I am not practicing it still has its cultural influences on me. These things have served as a common denominator with the working girls in LatAm, and I've been successful in using those commonalities to forge a good rapport, which I believe has helped to generate better sessions with the girls in LatAm.
So, without the common denominators of language and culture, I struggled to communicate and get a good read on the girls. I've always had an appreciation for the conversation and the flirtation that leads towards choosing a girl and paying her for sex. I think it helps to make a decision about how good the girl will perform, and while I've never been 100% right, I am generally 85 - 90% right on these matters in LatAm. I found that, while the Thai girls were sweet, and some spoke basic English, I wasn't able to communicate to the depth that I am accustomed to with the girls. This is not to say that I did not have good times…to the contrary, I had some awesome sessions. My good selections, however, were probably more a consequence of good luck and instinct over investigation and discernment. Additionally, I enjoyed the time drinking, eating and flirting with the girls leading up to the session less than I typically do in LatAm.
