It was great to get back. This was the longest I’ve gone since I discovered the LOS in 2004. I was averaging a trip every 2 months. This time it was 10 months. I was ready.

This trip was going to be different since I knew I’d have to work while there. My work had changed significantly in the last year, and I can no longer just take off and expect things to work out in my absence. I actually really enjoyed setting up the technology and the system to allow me to do this. I even enjoyed working in Thailand aside from a few technical glitches, that I have since worked out. I’m hoping this will allow me to make another trip fairly soon, but I’m still not sure I can. Its one thing to go over Xmas when many business’ are working at half strength, and quite another to go when business is at full strength. Time will tell.

I’m still a 1K on United Airlines (top of the frequent flyer scale), but I decided to fly Thai Airways and try out the direct flight from LAX to BKK. Great decision. I’ll never go any other way. It was a great pleasure to take off at 11pm; eat a meal; take a sleeping pill; wake up 6 hours later; watch a couple of movies; and arrive in Bangkok in the morning fairly refreshed. I’m used to the United schedule of departing at noon; arriving in Tokyo at midnite wanting to sleep, but having to switch planes. Then arriving in Bkk at midnite, and racing to Nana to hit a gogo before they close. I spent an extra $250 to sit in premium economy and it was worth it. I walked back into normal economy and it looked a lot tighter.

I was really worried about arriving on election weekend, but my fears were groundless. Although Soi Cowboy wasn’t serving alcohol, I couldn’t see any difference. Had a great time both nights I spent there. I hooked up with a buddy that I first met in Rio which made the trip even better. I don’t enjoy going on these trips much anymore unless I can hook up with fellow friends and mongers. It just isn’t as much fun exploring by myself. I was supposed to meet up with another buddy from CH that I met in Medellin, but he was too sick (lazy) to make it;) We met up a couple of days later in Pattaya.

The following pics are of a soapie girl at Poseiden, and a gogo girl from Rainbow. Most of my photos flatter the girls, but in the case of the Rainbow girl, I’d have to say she’s much prettier in person.

Arrived in Pattaya only to find out that my reservations at The Thai Archer on Soi LK Metro were gone. The hotel had been sold, and they simply let the former reservations laps without informing anyone. TIT. This is Christmas eve; the busiest week of the year in Pattaya. After a mad scramble, I was able to find a decent room at the Cock & Bull for 700 baht a night. Not bad for such short notice. They even had wireless internet, although I had to go downstairs for it to work most of the time. I looked at some pretty nasty places before finding it though.

That night I began my Pattaya hunt with my 2 trusted wingmen. Stopped at Living Dolls and to my delight hooked up with Fantasy girl again. Some of you may remember her from my previous reports. Her photo won “photo of the Year” here on CH. I might have missed her, but I showed her pic to another girl in the bar who promptly went to the back and brought her out. I had her photo on my iphone which turned out to be quite the hit and a lot of fun. I put pics of previous trips on the phone and then showed them to the girls who immediately wanted to buy my phone. I could have sold a dozen of them. Those of you that have met Fantasy girl know, she is quite the firecracker. She got into one shouting match with a customer who was pissed that the love of his life was sitting with us instead of him. Great drama. Here is one pic I got of her. I should have taken more, but I was busy shooting her friends.

The next night I met this sweetheart on Soi 8. I should have held onto her, but alas I forgot to get her number. At least there were many others to get my mind off my loss;)

I had my eye on this beauty but I kept having problems barfining her. At first I thought she was jerking me around, but later decided that we just had a genuine misunderstanding. I had barfined her one night but told her I would be back in 2 hours to get her. When I got back she had just been barfined by someone else. She claimed to not realize I had barfined her. In retrospect it might have been true. She desperately wanted to buy my iphone. I considered it, but decided against selling her mine. I may be sending one to my friend who lives there and she can buy it from him if she wants. As you can see from the photos, she was a very willing model. I made a bunch of prints for her, and of course a cd of the 94 shots I took of her. This Princess was the highlight of my trip as far as good looks go. As I expected, she was only an average performer though.

I got an unexpected email from the following girl. She was a girl I barfined on a previous trip, and she heard thru the grapevine that I was in town. Although a little heavy, she was a lot of fun in bed, and just to hang around with. I wish they were all like her. I decided not to post photos of her here. Although she never said specifically not to; I got the impression she wouldn't like it.

I met up with La Muerte on my 3rd of 4th day. I had gotten a lot of useful info on his South America trip reports, and wanted to meet him in person. He turned out to be a great guy, and I hope to meet up with him again somewhere. All together, there were 4 of us carousing together which made the trip very fun and entertaining. I’ll end the report with some final pics of my Thai Princess.

I forgot to mention that the Rainbow girl had a breast job. I've always been dead set against them, but hers changed my mind. I only guessed because they were too perfect. They felt exactly the way a natural breast feels. Maybe they do them differently in Thailand. Anyone know?

That Thia Air flight out of LAX is nice in Premium Economy, however there is NOOOoooo way I would want to try it in economy.

I can only imagine how much that must have sucked to show up at your hotel only to find out that they had been sold and your reservations were gone.

Geesh, the quality of your pics never ceases to amaze me, the gold standard for sure. I'm heartened to see that there are still plenty of stunners to pull in LOS.

BTW, like you, I used to try to get out every 2 months, but haven't been able to do so. I think I'm more stressed about how to keep up the status on the airlines than burying my bone these days :-). But I guess it's good that so many of us are busy these days.

Awesome photos! Love the clarity and sharpness!!!! Do you use a dSLR, with an offset flash?

I use a DSLR most of the time, but the Soi 6 girls, and the first 2 pics of the massage girl in Bkk were taken with my little Canon SD800. In the right hands, and in the right conditions, you can't tell the difference between a shot take with a DSLR and a good compact digital.

Great pictures! Can't complain about your taste in women at all. I'm heading back to Thailand later this year (haven't been since 2004). What's the going rate for ST and LT? Also I'm also using my United miles to fly on Thai Air and I do want to fly premium economy. The $250 is a great price for the upgrade. How much time (weeks, months) prior to your flight did you make your request to Thai Air for the upgrade?

I don't think you can use United miles to get the direct flight. I tried and they wouldn't let me. When I bought my ticket you could simply buy a premium economy ticket and the price was about $250 more than regular economy. I just checked the TG site, and it seems they have changed. I would call and talk to someone at Thai.

In Pattaya it is about 1500 baht short time for gogo girls and 1000 baht for beer bar girls. Barfines are 600 and 300. I never pay longtime, but sometimes the girls stay anyway. In Bkk add 500 to the ST fees.

Of course it depends a little on their looks. The stunners know they can command a little more. Some of the lesser looking girls can likely be had for less.

Good to know. I have 284,000 United miles I need to chew up, and I will only fly Thai from now on.

Very nice photos Av8tr. You either have very good taste, or very good luck. Seems like many of the more seasoned Thai vets have lower standards, or at least much different taste. How does the business class Thai Air service/quality compare with Singapore Air (which gives you enough of a layover to hit the Geylang)--if you're familiar with it? I'll probably try it myself if I can arrange a layover in Manila on the way back.
