Introduction:
I do not have any new groundbreaking information or unique experiences to discuss after my 17 day vacation to the LOS. I had a great time and will offer some thoughts, but will not make a detailed, chronological blow-by-blow report. Hopefully an overview, a few updates and perspective on LOS from a Latin America vet will serve use to someone who may read. Brevity has never been my strength, but I'll try to organize things such that the reader can skip through sections of no individual interest.
Summary:
I very much enjoyed my 17 day trip to the LOS, my first ever trip to Asia. In some ways it was the best mongering destination I've ever been to, while in some other ways I found it lacking. I will probably go back, but it was not a life-changing experience and I will not obsess over it. 17 days was a good amount of time, although I barely scratched the surface of what is available. The high point was the variety of venues and abundance of women, and the low point was the communication issues involved with mongering in a new language.
From a personal perspective, I really needed the R&R. 2007 was a very intense year at work, and in my personal life I went through a lot of changes. That includes moving to a new country for work, all the while not taking any time off. So I spent most of my vacation in a very unstructured and care-free fashion. A consequence of this was that I failed to take very detailed notes or make precise recordings of events as they unfolded.

You always write great reports and have quite a bit of experience in Colombia. I noticed you dont like submitting photos. Is there a reason for that or you are just not into it.
To be honest, I think my trips would be much more enjoyable without the stress of having to take photos. Having something to look at in between trips is great but I am not sure its worth it sometimes.

Thanks Blazers! You know, having met and hung with Av8tr, it gave me inspiration to learn how to take a good photograph. His flair for capturing a great image is remarkable.
The thing is, I don't take pictures of anything. That includes landmarks, temples, skylines, beaches, the children in my family and girls I screw while on vacation. I'm not sure why I am like that, but it's more of a general modus operandi rather than something particular to my mongering activity.
I enjoy looking at the girl photos on this site from time to time, but for me the real value is the dialog and exchange of information. The pictures, of course, are informative, but I am personally more drawn to read and contribute tactical information, anecdotes and human perspective. That's just my comfort zone, I suppose.
