One of the things I forgot to mention is when I checked in at the Etoile, they handed me a Buenos Aires guide to restaurants, stores, etc., and a BA map. A few days after arrival I was perusing the guide and found not only restaurants and stores, but everything from where to see tango shows, get plastic surgery, and lo and behold ads for some of our favorite spots like Playwomen and the new Shampoo.

One of the best places I found for watching and meeting the local "regular" girls, was La Strada. A couple doors down from McDonalds and across the street from the cemetary. I was there three separated times, morning, afternoon, and evening, and there was always a lot of foot traffic. This was my favorite place to take my laptop and write these reports.

On a nice night you can have dinner in or outside, and watch the tango dancers, and they tend to draw the onlookers. I've mentioned before, that I'm an average looking guy at best, but each time I was there, I was able to strike up a conversation with women of various ages, although I never really put any effort into scoring. One of these trip when I have more time maybe.

The place has it's hooks in me, I'm now contemplating a late December trip even though I know the action will be slower.

I never did make it to Cutty Sark, Solid Gold was more or less a fly by, and never took home a girl from Newport, though it is the closest club to the Etoile. I will do my best to correct those oversights on the next trip. I'm staying in the penthouse at the Ulises next trip, which is less than a block from Black. That may work in my favor if I can spot some of the high priced ladies outside the club. I am also a stubborn bastard, and deep down, I firmly believe I can get one of those beauties into my cama for a reasonable price.
